This what-if is probably the most involved on the channel. Most are done with the Freeza Saga by the third video even if they start in DB, and this technically hasn’t even gotten through the Saiyan Saga. Chalk it up to being such a divergent timeline. Really hoping we get a full Saiyan Squad going up against Freeza, though.

How about "What if Goku trained in Crane style?" he would join Tien and Chiaotzu under Master Shen, while Krillin and Yamcha(lets say he didnt like Crane style, or maybe he did? idk really) would still be under Master Roshi, would Roshi convice Goku durning tournament to change ways like he did with Tien? maybe Chiaotzu would be his best friend instead of Krillin? and dont tell me, you wouldnt love to see Goku using Kikoho(kaioken and zenkai boost +tri-beam?) and Dodonpa through series.
This is one of my favourite What If’s, purely because it’s such a dramatic change that it allows Masako to really flex his creative chops. Hope to see plenty more of this one!
I've got an idea for a what if. What if Akira Toriyama followed through on his original plan to make Goten and Trunks the new main characters of DBZ after the death of Vegeta during the Buu arc? We've all seen how good Masako is at making underutilized characters shine through what if stories, and I'd love to see what he can do with two of the most overlooked characters.
Saibamen because Yamcha gets the most flak out of all of those other ones you mentioned. Also, you really think Krillin and Tien aren’t relevant? They played a major part in the Android Saga. And Chi Chi? She helped Goten transform into a Super Saiyan. Of course she’s relevant. Yajirobi was designed to be comedy relief, unlike Yamcha.
@@JJ_R Yamcha got his own episode in DBS and in the Android saga he wasn't needed at all what can he do for the show at that point. Yamcha was always a joke he only fought like a few times in DB and lost most of his fights, he was a criminal at the begin of his life probaly killed also some innocent people. Tien got screwed in super, if you don't believe that watch a video called 'japan hates Tien' on youtube.
What if the 6th universe won the tournament between universes, and the earths were traded, I think it would be a cool thing to see what would happen to Vageta and Cabba
CoastalRebel it’s funny when you think about it. The only characters that our main cast would leave if they lost is Beerus, Whis, and their Kais. Also, Trunks would time travel to a desolate planet in the Goku Black arc.
It would be interesting to see what would happen in that scenario. Vegeta would probably train with Cabba on a pretty frequent basis, Vados might not have been willing to train Goku and Vegeta the way Whis did, there's no way to tell for sure how well the!Z-Fighters would be able to get along with Champa, Universe 7 would almost certainly have no chance in the ToP, Goku Black would either never be a thing, or would happen VERY differently. A very different version of Super when all's said and done.
@@cdressel53191 We don't know who could be on Universe 7's team in this scenario. Also, wasn't the main reason that almost everyone on Universe 7's team was from Earth was because Beerus was too lazy to go and actually find anyone himself so he made Goku and Vegeta do it? Who knows who else he might've been able to find if he had no choice but to go looking himself? He might've even ended up resurrecting other villains like Cell or King Cold if he got really desperate. They still wouldn't have had much of a chance against Universe 6's team in this scenario, but it still could've been pretty cool.
Lemme explain. King Vegeta neck chops kid Vegeta and he tosses him and Kakkarot into the pod. (Vegeta hits his head on the pod) Upon earth hes woosy and picks up kakkarot and falls into the crater hitting his head once more. With two head knocks he forgets a few things.
I always thought (in this scenario) that the king ordered him to run and sees kakarot ad a weak baby (frieza wouldn't probably look for him) sending vegeta to earth. Could give vegeta an older brother relationship with kakarot.
DO NOT leave this one hanging. (Unless you are going to revisit what if Gine went to earth. otherwise, i want part 4 of this one next) Most what-ifs are fun, but some are more appealing than others. I mean I did my own what if that has Kakarot, Raidtz, Nappa, Vegeta, Gine and Bardock in the cast, All of which (Aside form Gine) able to reach the level of Super Saiyan Blue. (It also really screws with some events during DBZ, as with Raditz, Gine, Nappa and Vegeta part of the Z fighters, And the training they did on the way to Namek, freiza was taken out rather quickly (not easily but he never got a chance to get to his final stage (The saiyans all attacked him while he was transforming), Gero never got a chance to reactivate the androids. Cell was never able to go back in time (As there was a situation with a really pissed off Future gohan (SS3) having his father neglect him to spend time with other saiyans. Buu is the only time they have issues but with the increased training everyone has been doing, he is not nearly as threatening as he was in the series.the four (No Gine and Bardock is actually revived in the super arcs in my what if) They reluctantly use the earrings to form a being. First Goku and Raditz form, Vegete and nappa form then Kakorditz and Nageta for creating Nagekitz (or whatever i don't have names for them) All of which able to go SS2 means that they have a SS2 being that is created by four saiyans. Buu is defeated and the earrings wear off. Then i have the super arcs to run through, but most are ignored. No Resurrection F, (Dragons balls are still a secret) and Goku black was just pulverized by Future Gohan. Meaning that Battle of the gods, Universe 6 and tournament of power are the only arcs that happened. The tournament 6 roster featured the 5 warrior saiyans (so no Gine) and Tournament of power added Gine (Since she is just as powerful as her children (Well almost)) Along with Krillin, Gohan (who is warming up again, after being ignored for so long) Young Kami and Tien. (Kakraot, Raditz, Vegeta Nappa and Bardock are also all able to reach SS blue since between tournament 6 and Tournament of power, they were all training on Beerus' Planet. I will have to see Broly's movie to see if events before GT change or not.
So I just discovered all of your "What if" series, Masako, and I must say I'm really impressed! This one in particular strikes me as one of the most interesting, even more than Raditz's, if just for the fact that you're utilizing two of the coolest things DBZ had (at least, what got my attention while a was a kid). That is to say, that there are many worlds out there for Goku and his friends to explore and enemies to face, and Vegeta's title. Because his rants about being the prince of all saiyans, in the end, accounted for nothing? Like, he didn't ever tried to restore his kingdom, his planet, his race. I was about to comment on your Raditz "What if" series about the possibility of Vegeta trying to become "king" in the eyes of others, but I feel like this series is better for that. He can keep being a jerk there. Raditz can handle that :) To sum up, I am absolutely delighted at your work, and specially to see that you made R&R into a series of its own! As someone who once made fanfiction, that's both astonishing and inspiring. I sincerely hope you can keep up with everything. Much love from Spain. Goku would probably be bored out of his mind. Sure, Guru could erase his Saiyan tendencies and make him good, but Namekian warriors are only bred for self defense, not sport.
I think Freeza would just send a few of his men or his elites to fight them. Because you know.....he's lazy and all. Never trained for any reason. So it would be detrimental to him mostly.

What if Mr. Satan publicly acknowledged that Goku sacrificed himself to save the world? (Still taking credit for the win.) How would life change for the Son family if the world knew Goku as a martyr who gave his life to save them all?

Still the best What-ifs you've made! It is very annoying to see the "Prince of all Saiyans" completely disregard them for so many years but I can understand it considering his personality at the time combined with his fear of Freeza and all the trauma he possibly suffered under Freeza. I hope Nappa does not end up becoming the link that Freeza needs to track the new Saiyan homeworld. Because it really feels like that is where this is going to lead to. It really annoyed me that he was left behind. Not saying it is out of character for Vegeta or his mother, but I feel like Raditz really should not have allowed that to happen.
Is this a set up for Nappa to become one of Frieza's lackeys during the fight between Frieza's Army and the Saiyans on Planet New Vegeta, or possibly on Earth or Namek? I feel like Nappa would be loyal to his race rather than Frieza, but this is interesting nonetheless.
@@brandonmyers5448 Maybe it's disrespectful to kill a lower level Saiyan in the presence of a fellow royal. It can be done elsewhere since they're a murderous warrior race, just not in front of your mother where it can dirty her royal garb. Or Vegeta, because he's in the presence of fellow saiyans, and his mother cares enough for him to leave Nappa alive.
Nearthe2nd Here’s an interesting idea: what if instead of Frieza who picks up Nappa, it’s *Turles?* Maybe in this continuity, Turles is aiming for the same goal as Bardock’s: the overthrow of Frieza and the restoration of the Saiyan Empire-but its Turles, so his method involves the Tree of Might and it’s whole schtick. Unlike with Goku and Gohan, he succeeds in recruiting Nappa, and he ends up part of the Crusher Corps. I could see Turles being a rival for Bardock akin to Goku and Vegeta. Very similar, yet drastically different. One wants the restoration of the old Saiyan monarchy under Casava; the other uniting the Saiyan under HIM. It’d certainly complicate things immensely for both the Frieza Force and the Saiyans having the Crusher Corps making a mess of both sides. But could he be convinced to help his fellow Saiyans against their shared nemesis? Who knows...

Here's an alternative idea in the same vein: What if instead of Frieza or Turles who picks up Nappa, it's actually *Paragus* before the ages of Dragon Ball Super Broly. Considering he survived too, Paragus, Broly and his saiyans could use another man among their ranks to get revenge against King Vegeta. Since King Vegeta is dead, the next best thing would be his wife and son(s)
I don't know how many other saiyans Paragus he has control over besides Broly and that new saiyan named Beets who was recently named and who made his first real debut in Super Dragon Ball Heroes game on a card of his own. He originally appeared alongside Paragus in the first DBS Broly trailer, but we only saw his back, he wears armor similar to Cabba. It'd be interesting to see Nappa ally with Turles' Crusher Corps, or Paragus' Revenge Plan against King Vegeta. There's a likelihood that Paragus has more saiyans under his wing besides his son, and Beets considering the masked soldiers that appear alongside Paragus and Broly in the first trailer. Their general design looks nothing like the typical Saiyan or Frieza soldier, so I'm tempted to say they're surviving saiyans.

It's the special characteristic of the Dragon Clan, who as Namekians are not divided into male or female. Piccolo Daimao birthed Demon Clan members who he used as his underlings, as well as a duplicate of himself engraved with his own memories, who could be called his child. The Eldest of Planet Namek birthed over 100 children in his lifetime. When birthing eggs, Piccolo Daimao chanted "Pokopen, pokopen, daare ga tsutsuita..."
King Piccolo is probably a Dragon Clan because; in DBO there's a class for Dragon Clan that allows them to spit eggs that hatch into monsters (sound familiar?). The Nameless Namekian made the Black-Star Dragon Balls in GT (which is non-canon but is still worth mentioning.) And Kami and him were split from the Nameless Namekian, and Kami's definitely a Dragon Clan, so King Piccolo's most likely a Dragon Clan.
I think Vegeta would help. Just now very disappointed in Nappa again. Was hope he turn good too. Maybe he get redeem hopefully. Thought I like this What If the most right now. I look forward to part 4. Also like to know what Bardock doing with his grandson and meeting the woman Goku married too.

Major changes and affected outcomes in this ark: 1: yet another what if where raditz survives, but in here, he's not good OR bad, but an interesting medium between the two. 2: obvious one here, but bardock and a bunch of other saiyans are alive. 3. Due to saiyan training, a lot of z fighters are stronger (even yamcha can hold his own a bit now, which is interesting, cjz y'know, yamcha?! 😁). I'm not just picturing these as what ifs now, but alternate realities, kinda like multiverse theory on steroids. Freakin'off the tits 😍

Lemme explain. King Vegeta neck chops kid Vegeta and he tosses him and Kakkarot into the pod. (Vegeta hits his head on the pod) Upon earth hes woosy and picks up kakkarot and falls into the crater hitting his head once more. With two head knocks he forgets a few things.
I always thought (in this scenario) that the king ordered him to run and sees kakarot ad a weak baby (frieza wouldn't probably look for him) sending vegeta to earth. Could give vegeta an older brother relationship with kakarot.

DO NOT leave this one hanging. (Unless you are going to revisit what if Gine went to earth. otherwise, i want part 4 of this one next)
Most what-ifs are fun, but some are more appealing than others. I mean I did my own what if that has Kakarot, Raidtz, Nappa, Vegeta, Gine and Bardock in the cast, All of which (Aside form Gine) able to reach the level of Super Saiyan Blue. (It also really screws with some events during DBZ, as with Raditz, Gine, Nappa and Vegeta part of the Z fighters, And the training they did on the way to Namek, freiza was taken out rather quickly (not easily but he never got a chance to get to his final stage (The saiyans all attacked him while he was transforming), Gero never got a chance to reactivate the androids. Cell was never able to go back in time (As there was a situation with a really pissed off Future gohan (SS3) having his father neglect him to spend time with other saiyans. Buu is the only time they have issues but with the increased training everyone has been doing, he is not nearly as threatening as he was in the series.the four (No Gine and Bardock is actually revived in the super arcs in my what if) They reluctantly use the earrings to form a being. First Goku and Raditz form, Vegete and nappa form then Kakorditz and Nageta for creating Nagekitz (or whatever i don't have names for them) All of which able to go SS2 means that they have a SS2 being that is created by four saiyans. Buu is defeated and the earrings wear off.
Then i have the super arcs to run through, but most are ignored. No Resurrection F, (Dragons balls are still a secret) and Goku black was just pulverized by Future Gohan. Meaning that Battle of the gods, Universe 6 and tournament of power are the only arcs that happened. The tournament 6 roster featured the 5 warrior saiyans (so no Gine) and Tournament of power added Gine (Since she is just as powerful as her children (Well almost)) Along with Krillin, Gohan (who is warming up again, after being ignored for so long) Young Kami and Tien. (Kakraot, Raditz, Vegeta Nappa and Bardock are also all able to reach SS blue since between tournament 6 and Tournament of power, they were all training on Beerus' Planet.
I will have to see Broly's movie to see if events before GT change or not.

So I just discovered all of your "What if" series, Masako, and I must say I'm really impressed! This one in particular strikes me as one of the most interesting, even more than Raditz's, if just for the fact that you're utilizing two of the coolest things DBZ had (at least, what got my attention while a was a kid).
That is to say, that there are many worlds out there for Goku and his friends to explore and enemies to face, and Vegeta's title. Because his rants about being the prince of all saiyans, in the end, accounted for nothing? Like, he didn't ever tried to restore his kingdom, his planet, his race.
I was about to comment on your Raditz "What if" series about the possibility of Vegeta trying to become "king" in the eyes of others, but I feel like this series is better for that. He can keep being a jerk there. Raditz can handle that :)
To sum up, I am absolutely delighted at your work, and specially to see that you made R&R into a series of its own! As someone who once made fanfiction, that's both astonishing and inspiring. I sincerely hope you can keep up with everything. Much love from Spain.

I think Freeza would just send a few of his men or his elites to fight them. Because you know.....he's lazy and all. Never trained for any reason. So it would be detrimental to him mostly.

Still the best What-ifs you've made! It is very annoying to see the "Prince of all Saiyans" completely disregard them for so many years but I can understand it considering his personality at the time combined with his fear of Freeza and all the trauma he possibly suffered under Freeza.
I hope Nappa does not end up becoming the link that Freeza needs to track the new Saiyan homeworld. Because it really feels like that is where this is going to lead to. It really annoyed me that he was left behind. Not saying it is out of character for Vegeta or his mother, but I feel like Raditz really should not have allowed that to happen.

Is this a set up for Nappa to become one of Frieza's lackeys during the fight between Frieza's Army and the Saiyans on Planet New Vegeta, or possibly on Earth or Namek? I feel like Nappa would be loyal to his race rather than Frieza, but this is interesting nonetheless.

@@brandonmyers5448 Maybe it's disrespectful to kill a lower level Saiyan in the presence of a fellow royal. It can be done elsewhere since they're a murderous warrior race, just not in front of your mother where it can dirty her royal garb. Or Vegeta, because he's in the presence of fellow saiyans, and his mother cares enough for him to leave Nappa alive.
Nearthe2nd Here’s an interesting idea: what if instead of Frieza who picks up Nappa, it’s *Turles?* Maybe in this continuity, Turles is aiming for the same goal as Bardock’s: the overthrow of Frieza and the restoration of the Saiyan Empire-but its Turles, so his method involves the Tree of Might and it’s whole schtick. Unlike with Goku and Gohan, he succeeds in recruiting Nappa, and he ends up part of the Crusher Corps. I could see Turles being a rival for Bardock akin to Goku and Vegeta. Very similar, yet drastically different. One wants the restoration of the old Saiyan monarchy under Casava; the other uniting the Saiyan under HIM. It’d certainly complicate things immensely for both the Frieza Force and the Saiyans having the Crusher Corps making a mess of both sides. But could he be convinced to help his fellow Saiyans against their shared nemesis? Who knows...

Here's an alternative idea in the same vein: What if instead of Frieza or Turles who picks up Nappa, it's actually *Paragus* before the ages of Dragon Ball Super Broly. Considering he survived too, Paragus, Broly and his saiyans could use another man among their ranks to get revenge against King Vegeta. Since King Vegeta is dead, the next best thing would be his wife and son(s)
I don't know how many other saiyans Paragus he has control over besides Broly and that new saiyan named Beets who was recently named and who made his first real debut in Super Dragon Ball Heroes game on a card of his own. He originally appeared alongside Paragus in the first DBS Broly trailer, but we only saw his back, he wears armor similar to Cabba. It'd be interesting to see Nappa ally with Turles' Crusher Corps, or Paragus' Revenge Plan against King Vegeta. There's a likelihood that Paragus has more saiyans under his wing besides his son, and Beets considering the masked soldiers that appear alongside Paragus and Broly in the first trailer. Their general design looks nothing like the typical Saiyan or Frieza soldier, so I'm tempted to say they're surviving saiyans.

@@yagoymcalister7512 everything I have seen has them referenced as a dragon clan. Even DB wiki has him listed as a known dragon clan member.
King Piccolo is probably a Dragon Clan because; in DBO there's a class for Dragon Clan that allows them to spit eggs that hatch into monsters (sound familiar?). The Nameless Namekian made the Black-Star Dragon Balls in GT (which is non-canon but is still worth mentioning.) And Kami and him were split from the Nameless Namekian, and Kami's definitely a Dragon Clan, so King Piccolo's most likely a Dragon Clan.

I’m wondering if it’ll make him more cautious but time will tell!

Major changes and affected outcomes in this ark:
1: yet another what if where raditz survives, but in here, he's not good OR bad, but an interesting medium between the two.
2: obvious one here, but bardock and a bunch of other saiyans are alive.
3. Due to saiyan training, a lot of z fighters are stronger (even yamcha can hold his own a bit now, which is interesting, cjz y'know, yamcha?! 😁).
I'm not just picturing these as what ifs now, but alternate realities, kinda like multiverse theory on steroids. Freakin'off the tits 😍
