This is Abby's fault. She was the instigator and called Kelly a dingbat and put her finger in Kelly's face. Kelly then put her finger in Abby's face but then Abby came at her so fast trying to bite her finger off. So Kelly slapped her to get her away and she was still coming at her to bite and Kelly had to pull Abby's hair to get her away. It was purely self defence and Abby is at fault.

Kelly was defending herself. Abby got out of her chair, called her a dingbat, was poking her in the face, and started biting at her face. Kelly hit her, hoping that she would back off, but she kept like, snapping at her face so she pulled her hair. Abby thinks that she can do whatever the shell she wants just because she is 'Abby Lee Miller' and she is famous. Like, she over reacted by calling the police. The whole thing wouldn't have started if Abby stayed in her seat and didn't threaten Kelly. Basically, I think that all of those parents should have already got legal with Abby. She vocally abused the children. Sue Abby. Kelly doesn't deserve these charges. That's where I stand.

Bullshit. I've seen the clip with my own eyes. Abby attacked her. She is bigger and taller than Kelly, she was *bearing down* on her, and she was snapping her jaws like a rage-crazed cannibal on bath salts. Of course Kelly was already full of rage, but any sane person would have every reason to believe somebody coming at them like that meant to do them serious harm, and they would be well within their rights to defend themselves. But when somebody who has as many lawyers as Abby attacks you, you're screwed either way.

Now let’s be honest if you had a child or already have one and someone tells them almost every single day they are snakes and that they are the worst you would get very mad. And she tells those innocent kids the same stuff every single day. So Kelly did what she had to do with Abby for her children to defend them. I am totally on Kelly’s side.

The director of Dance Moms tweeted out to all his followers that, Abby let the Hylands come back in Season 5, because she realised how much fans loved them. When I first heard about the fight, I was really distraught because Paige was my favourite girl and Kelly was my favourite Mom. I just don't get how they're going to look at each other and talk. It will be so awkward to find out!!!

You all are wrong, if you were watching a whole clip, Abby was saying rude things about Kelly’s daughter, Brooke. Kelly confronted Abby, but then Abby insisted she didn’t say anything about Brooke. Then Abby goes up to Kelly and invading her personal space while Kelly feels uncomfortable and says, “Get your finger out of my face”. Then Abby makes a rude gesture to Kelly then Kelly with self defense, slaps Abby for not listening to her. But Abby still stayed near her and Kelly said, “Get away who do you think you are”? Kelly could’ve not encountered that situation by not hitting Abby, but I don’t think Kelly should be charged.

It technically was more of abbys fault rather than Kelly’s...She is the one who came at her first and Kelly had no choice but to push her away and did what she did.
Those people who are saying “she should be ashamed and of herself. She could’ve handled it a different way” WATCH THE SHOW!! They put that 30 second clip without explanation in their faces and they said what they thought without knowing what Abby had done to her and her kids. IN WASNT SCRIPTED IT WAS SELF DEFENSE! Abby stood up, called her a dingbat and snapped in her face, also trying to bite her finger and pointed HER finger at Kelly. Kelly slapped Abby hoping she would back away but she wouldn’t so she pulled her hair. Paige sued Abby and they didn’t show those people any of that and the actual show. I’m sure none of those middle aged people have seen dance moms and don’t know what goes on. Don’t spread fake news without proof on what happened behind the scenes!!! Also, Abby had emotionally and vocally abused Kelly’s kids and many others and yelled at them to praise the Ziegler’s. Christi got out of the show because she sued Collins Avenue, just like Kelly. And don’t forget Kelly was in a 6 year contract with Collins Avenue and Lifetime and that’s why she couldn’t leave until season 4. Kelly trained at Abby’s studio and quit so they had more connection then any other mom so it’s easy to say Abby could’ve Unforgiven Kelly for things in the past. Last thing is before that fight, Abby told Brooke, Kelly’s oldest daughter “Brooke ur 15 grow the hell up” and be raided her because Kelly stood up for her when Abby was yelling at her. NOT TO MENTION CHLOE AND PAIGE HAD A DUET BUT MADDIE AND KALANI SECRETLY HAD A DUET THAT THEY PERFORMED WHICH GARANTEED WISHBONE TO BE 2ND PLACE WISH BROKE CHRISTI AND MELISSA’S FRIENDSHIP AND KELLY AND MELISSAS FRIENDSHIP

the lawyer is stupid. that rule applies if it's a fully scripted fight scene when the perpetrator is playing a fake character and the victim is expecting the assault. not on reality shows when a real person actually loses their temper and self control. even if she claims the producers were provoking her it was her decision to get fired up and her decision to strike abby.

Over the 13 years or so that her kids have danced with the company that calculates to about $600,000.00 tuition which yes is a lot, but no, it does not acquit to millions!!

Abby has the Narcissistic Personality Disorder which means she's so caught up in prestige, power, and vanity that she's mentally unable to see the destructive damage that she's causing to herself and others in the process. My mom also said that Abby is immature because she always wants things to go her way and not anybody else's. One symptom by the way is a lack of empathy, that means that Abby is not willing to recognize the feelings of the girls and the moms.

Kelly Hyland should win her case! It was clear and evident that Abbey kept walking toward Kelly pointing her finger and biting at her. Also don't forget that abusive teacher speaking to a minor using unwanted language. As an educator I would be instantly fired and prosecuted for the type of behavious shown here. There are many who wonder why all should be prosecuted for clearly shown child abuse.

I was a student at that dance studio at that time. I remember the cops coming to arrest Kelly. The only reason why it is Kellys fault is because what Abby said and did was part of the script. Everyone who was at that studio knew that. Thats why all the moms acted the way they did when Kelly hit Abby. Kelly was the one who stepped out of line because there was stuff that happened after the cameras stopped rolling too.

Abby has a problem to bring the kids passions down the drains. a dance teacher should encourage and nicely talk to the student, not scream in there face and make them feel that they dance bad. and no dance teacher should argue with any parent or student.
