Check out a vid of them playing this song from 88-89. Hungrier, faster, more aggressive. The singers voice changed to much and the band down tuned a whole step so it doesn't even sound like the same song.
Let me just say, I've been so Blessed and Fortunate to have seen them several times, including 1986, 1989, 90', 91', 94' and 95' and They've gotten tighter more refined, better control and sound Absolutely 💯 Amazing live!! Better now then the 1st time I seen them!! I absolutely Love ❤️ Metallica!! I miss Cliff and Jason, but I have grown to love Roberto as well. Kirk kills the guitar 🎸 I don't care what the haters say Lars is excellent on drums & and kills it live!! James...Wow!! His voice, incredible how much better he sounds, just Amazing!! The passion these guys put into every venue, song & lyrics is just beyond words!! Their pushing 60 yrs old and still Killing it live, in all 7 Continents, crushing metal New Concerts touring next year, New Album 2023 and just dropped a Banger, "Lux Aeterna!! Bad ass Riffs!! My Boys still be Slaying Metal!! Period!
This is a garbage version of this song. The song was released in '88. Why would you react to a 2009 version? As musicians you should know better. You'll find the best versions of this song between '88 - '91.
