Hi there, i just bought it becaus i fly drones and drive RC Crawler. In the Droneworld i used the TX16s and i was very Happy with it. So i loved to see this Radio coming. Now i love to see that you make cool Settings Videos with your Edge TX Skills. Mabey you can do some cool things for RC Crawler. We use Winches and locking unlocking Diffs Lights and so on ;) I just set up my TRX4m with a small Spektrum DSM2 Receiver and it worked. Expo on the Gascurve worked really good for this small car using a Hobbywing 1080 as ESC. With Groundvehicles and this Radio u will open a whole new World. I love to see Bardwell in it with Edge TX and the MT12;) Great starting Videos for the MT12. Thanks alot and go ahead like that^^
Very cool! I'm willing to bet that diff locks, winches etc. will use up a lot of your radio's channels. I might suggest that you use the same channel, jsut different falues, to trigger different events on the car. e.g. use channel 4 value 25% for Winch In, and Ch.4 75% for Winch Out. Similarly you could use differenc channel values on the same channel to open or close different diffs. That said, this is going to need some logic on the car-side to un-mix those channels into their correct functions. I think that's how the Arrma diff brains work.
@@mrkazmanThank you. You gave me new ideas;) However, I will mount the 2 switches in the front of the handle for the diffs. You can then see directly from the switches whether the diff is open or closed. The idea of percents on a channel could be used to switch LEDs. This remote control opens up completely new possibilities in the RC car area. Lets find new Ways ;)
Hi Josh, I just picked up my MT12 yesterday and I can't wait to get it working the way I want to set it up. I want to setup the steering to standard 2 wheel steering, independent steering for crab and together for tight steering. Thanks for the video and information about setting up your radio.
FYI, I.C. (internal combustion/gas/petrol/nitro) RC vehicles often require a feature called 'idle-up' when starting the engine which opens the throttle by a set amount, once the engine is started and comes up to temperature you turn off idle up. It's usually as simple as adjusting the minimum throttle position based on a switch position. I.C. RC vehicles, and also to some extent electric vehicles usually have a 'slack' area between idle throttle and when the brakes start to work, to get a more responsive brake and with more trigger resolution, it's often useful to make the trigger 'skip' the idle range of the servo immediately when the brake is used, usually by adjusting the reverse/brake servo range from say -20% to -100% instead of -0% to -100%. More videos showing how to setup I.C. engine vehicles with edge TX I'm sure many would find useful. Also, perhaps grab an RC tank and show how to configure the MT12 for that type of model too.
@@JoshuaBardwellfor electric vehicles braking and reverse are managed by the speed controller (some higher end speed controllers don't have reverse) But for speed controllers with the reverse function, if you push full brake, let trigger go to the neutral position, and then push forward again, the vehicle will move in reverse. OR some allow you to have 50% of your trigger travel be brake, and the next half of the range be reverse.
@@JoshuaBardwellESC will brake/reverse when channel goes negative. Back emf determines whether it's brake or reverse. If you wanna go all Steve McQueen, double tap&hold rev. when you're just past 90° with steering at full deflection. You may have a 70/30-50/50 switch on the Traxxas Tx which physically moves the potentiometer location to maintain neutral position while adjusting throttle to brake ratio. Wondering how M12 handles this. Given the infinite capabilities of edgeTx, I'm curious to see how they configured the trigger adjustment mechanism.
I understand how the ESC distinguishes back vs. reverse. I just don't see how that distinction could be passed to the controller. So if you wanted some kind of different behavior like, full throttle on reverse, but limited throttle on brake, I don't see how you could do that without modifying the ESC.
A few years ago I wanted all these options, I prefer sticks; easier for me as I need pin point steering at my age, so I used the RadioLink AT10. Super range with all the extra channels. I'm happy to see you Josh RC car style! Especially when you're getting chased by a quad hint 😁
I frequent a done/rc shop in Albuquerque called DroneMax, a LOT of us have MT12's, this is going to help a lot of use who have these and did not have this functionality like the fancy guys have with their Futaba's.
Love the video! Thanks One thing I want to try is using the original timer start/stop button to disable/enable the trim switches. I’ve accidentally hit the trims while wearing gloves too many times.
Ordered this radio finally, the 4 in 1 version, so I'm on the hunt for all the tips and tricks I can find. I'm sure I just bought the radio that will melt away whatever brain cells I have left🤯
Hello. Thanks for your very useful how to for the MT12. I use all 5 trim switches for steering rate, forward rate , brake rate, stearing expo and forward expo. The LEDs for the throttle i configured in orange when throttle is blocked and off when thottle is no blocked. I see nothing of the LEDs when i race with my touring car i look straigt to my car. I use the 3 position switch for the LCD backlight for backlight off, half and full. I put in the mini joystick on the bottom of the MT12 and i use it to trigger and reset the timer and adjust subtrim for steering.. I have split steering in left and right via logical switches to slow down the steering when i need. arminRC have a nice how to for this. And i dismounted the original steering wheel on the MT12 and put on a drift wheel with much offset for 1/10 touring cars. Thats feels very nice.
Thank you so much for your tutorial. Could you please also show how to set up some specific car functions like ABS, idle up, convert trims to 2-3-4 and more-positions switches?
10:20 steering trim for me was ST not TH as in the video, I wondered why the steering trim stopped working. Default with throttle channel 1 steering on channel 2 trim is T2 and you can just leave trim to on, if you swap channels so 1 is St, 2 is thr (like most surface setups) then you’ll need to set as per the tutorial set trim to TH,
TY for making these videos. They are very appreciated. I have mine set up just like in your videos. Super happy I could follow along and set mine up without using the SD method. Im a masochist. LOL.
Thanks for this video. Just picked up the MT12. Most of the higher end TX's I have had over the years have had trim for steer and throttle and dual rate (think you are calling it wgt) switches for each channel at easy access points. Going to dive deep this weekend...but I would love to set one up like that and have a separate switch for adjustable drag brake (auto brake on neutral throttle) without effecting overall throttle trim/endpoint fwd. Would be a game changer for race days. Assume this is all possible?
Your videos on this radio has been the most helpful for me! Thank you very much!! I do have a question about your brake adjustment. The adjustment you did is more so a reverse than a brake. A brake adjustment would be when the trigger is released…x>0 on the graph. Is there a way to put this on a knob? This would basically be like adding an adjustment drag brake.
Hey Bardwell Just bought my 1st MT12. may be a stupid question but how come I don't get the popup like yours when trying to set the trim (@ time stamp 2:14)
I know there is a way to add a launch control basically a throttle kill. Is there a way to ramp up the throttle for drag racing? The reason I ask is you are the man when it comes to open tx
Is this possible to implement on an moa setup? Essentially an additional esc and steering servo. I know the trim probably won't work across both front and back. The throttle and steering weight would be awesome. You now keep me moving across the ground as well as through the air! All hail Bardwell
Anything is possible with edge/opentx stuff like that is where is really shines. I have a moa crawler, I should ship it to JB to let him play with it and sort out programming
Hi Joshua. I have an idea that maybe you can help with. I have noticed a lot of folks using this remote for crawling and having issues with signal loss at close range. Can the power be turned down to a point to make it a short range radio so they don't loose signal when close? Looking forward to your thoughts 😊
Thanks for making this video. Hopefully you keep working with this radio and making models available. If it takes you a few hours to setup... would take me weeks lol. Being able to download different models and making mods from there will help make this radio viable. Maybe Radiomaster is listening? You have any ideas to setup separate end points (left and right) for the steering?
Figured out... that a good way to set end points for the steering (left/right) travel is in the "outputs" menu. Maybe that's the best method, rather than try to set up trim switches to somehow do it?
Hayy jos, verry nice and helpfully video btw, i just bought that device, before , im using sanwa transmitter, to control my adventure scale rc car, i can adjust my trim button to change the direction for my aux 1 / channel 3 , and it just to change the direction, and to activate that chanel i declare my switch1 to trigger it, in your video you can 'over' the channel to make it stop, can i over it to activate/start on that mt12 ? Thks
I was curious the nano diversity receivers can they be used in land vehicles? It states that it has 8 channels and would be insanely helpful for tight builds. I saw a guy had one running a jet boat. I would love to be able to lets say run all my servos in my TRX4!!!
Thank you joshua! Everything works perfectly. Except my wltoys is set up for throttle on channel 2 and steering on Channel 4. How do I get the override to work again because I moved channels? I am stumped. UPDATE: I was copying it over ... Turns out I need to MOVE them. Thanks again Joshua!
Thanks for the video I've been watching it over and over so I can try to get a better idea but if I download the setting will it work with a Mac will I be able to update the controller with a Mac and do I just copy that controller setting to every model I have if I want to use that same setting you're providing in the download thank you in advance
12:39 I never knew that OpenTX/EdgeTX had long-press sub-menus like that! Like I knew you could long-press for a menu obviously, but not that you could do it over and over to get more and more menus.
How do I stop the trims from vibrating when they center and to stop keeping track of if they're centered? I plan to use my trim switches as momentary three position switches to control winches on my crawler.
Hi Joshua, Great series of vids so far on the MT12, i thank you. I wanted to see how the sausage was made and also wanted to try your model file. I can access the folders in the sd via usb and i can seemingly copy your file over, and i can see it in the folder when im done, but i cant find it in the mt12 model list. I thought perhaps i needed to use edgetx or opentx companions, but neither of them recognize the mt12. what am i missing besides enough brain cells?
@@JoshuaBardwell theres two in that list, i accidentally made a backup of model02 and the backup of the mt12 file that it comes with are all that are there to choose from.

I cannot adjust my trim from right to left (steering). Well sorry it shows on the transmitter adjusted but the car still drives to the left Did I skip a step?
@@JoshuaBardwell I'd say for electric cars everything should just return to the neutral position, but for a nitro car it should go to neutral or full brakes so you don't have a runaway. I've already tested it on ELRS and it works by default going to neutral. I've not setup any of my nitro cars yet.

After watching this I still think the best surface radio for ELRS is the RadioLink RC8X. Supports crsf protocol for external module and has all the menus for setting the surface guys expect.
For a low low price of 300 dollars? Go learn how to program the radio. My rc crawler alone is 400 dollars, do you really expect me to spend 300 more for less features?
Is there a way to lock out all the buttons except the throttle and steering i want to start setting up my sons cars on this remote but hes 3 and getting him to not play with buttons and switches is impossible
Is it possible to reduse the speed of the Throttle when you accelerates like tractioncontroll. but the throttle speed must be fast when you relese the throttle. Hope you understand what I mean.
Hello Mister Bardwell 👋🏻 Excuse me I had your model and I just flashed the last EdgeTX and ELRS versions and now it changes the settings and it's not working correctly, what do you recommend me to do? Start all configuration again?
I have a mix to run two escs together. Im having trouble trying to make T4 be a 3 position switch. Centre being both esc's running together, click down to just have feont motor running, click up to just have rear motor running. T3 to do the same but in 5% increments. Everything ive tried just makes it a momentary switch and not fixed position.
This is doable but complicated. Since you want both T3 and T4 to manipulate the same parameter, I would start with a global variable eg 0 = 50/50, 100 = all front, -100 = all rear. Then both T3 and T4 can modify the global variable and all the resulting mixes will work. Next I would build the mixing. In the Mixer screen I would set up mixer lines based on the GV so that the output to the ESC's was as desired. I don't know exactly how you would do that though because I don't know how the signal is sent to the ESC's. Like, is there a differential that you're modifying to change the front/rear balance? Or are you sending two signals to two separate ESC's? Finally I would set up logcial switches to allow the trim switches to adjust the GV as desired.
@@JoshuaBardwell An esc is plugged into two separate channels and mixed to work as one. On my Sanwa MT44 I have it set up exactly as I described wanting the MT12 set up. Currently I have a printed wheel on the P2 dial of the MT12 that is mixed to work both esc's at center, rolled all the way back it just drives the front motor, and all the way up just drives rear motor. Anything between those points is the throttle bias between motors. But I wanted that P2 dial as a 4WS wheel, and the T4/T3 trims to work as I have them on my Sanwa. I thought by using Google Bard I would have the answers in no time, but A.I. seems to to be lost on it 😄 It's given me many options to try, but none have worked so far.
If you have it working already on the P2 dial then it shouldn't be too much work (for somebody, anyway) to transfer that function to the trim switches. You need to use the methods shown in this video to 1) change the MIXER lines to be based on a Global Variable instead of the S2 pot, and then 2) use Special Functions to cause the trim switches to adjust the GV as desired.
Wait, throttle on channel 1? It has been "1 to turn, 2 to burn" in the surface world since, well, forever. I hope this doesnt start a TAER AETR split... (And before you say it, it actually would matter with the 4in1 radio because Traxxas and others have receivers with dual CH1 outputs for dual steering servos.)
Would there be a way to reset this radio as I hit calibration and throttle stays at 35 percent and I have no idea how to get regular function back. Thanks
26:12 so you made it through and the light cuts out for dramatic effect. you forget you programmed in dramatic effect. This makes me want to dig out my old cars and put an ELRS receiver in them.
This is a great explanation on how this radio works, but the way its being setup here is not ideal for a surface race radio. One switch for trim, one for expo (not weight whatever that means) epa should only be able to be adjusted while on the bench as its never adjusted by a quick switch on a racing scenario. Thats a great way to hurt the servo by accident. There is no nood for throttle epa on a quick switch either. Set it up once and leave it. Sure you can fine tune the braking epa but its not gonna need constant fiddling. This radio has potential but i don't see it becoming a popular item at any tracks. Now making expo on a quick switch ...one for throttle, one for steering could be extremely convenient.
Any ideas? The sound did work on mine, now nothing, just haptic, gone through all menus, sound is set to all, volume up, all others seem set ok, think its something I pressed but can't work it out, any help greatly appreciated before I start the process of sending it back!
Very good Video for the surface guys, much appreciated. I don't wat to disappoint you, but what you figured out for Trims, Weight, Drive Modes etc. is daily routine for the PWM Guys in OTX/ETX for 10 Years now 🙂

There's no gyro on the receiver for steering. It corrects your steering when you are going fast . So if you're going 45mph threw a grass park it helps from flipping over or going 65mph down a road you don't loose control. It's a real bummer that the elrs receivers don't have it. Traxxas and Arrma have it standard on their top cars.
im not a big fan of gyros, except for drifting... i noticed that whenever i go fast with the gyro on 100 it induces an oscillation that makes my car wiggle like a dogs butt
Hi JB. I was wondering if you can help me. I’m trying to add a headtracker (nano33ble) to my Mt12 through sbus. Do you know how I can get the serial port configured to sbus trainer? On my Taranis and Tx16s the option is on the hardware page. But on the Mt12 hardware page, the only options for serial are Cli and telemetry. Can you please help me with this. Thank You
Working on a tutorial but it can be done without much difficulty is the short answer. Go into lua script and there is a menu option to set failsafe channel positions. Hold the throttle at the desired position and hit OK on the script.
Does anyone know if it's possible to configure Spektrum AVC receiver with the MT12 ? This is seriously the only point that holds me back from changing my dx5c !
I remember when I first got into drones, I figured there was no way I could afford it because I was looking at $600 radios from Futaba and Spektrum. I literally wouldn't be here today if I hadn't found the Turnigy 9x for $60. It was fully programmable and supported 16 channels. I don't know how the quality of the MT12 will hold up against a radio costing three or four times as much, although I think Radiomaster quality does hold up. I do know that a TON of people want the features this radio offers and don't want to pay $600 to get it.
@@JoshuaBardwell Thanks for showing us car guys how to use this radio.... or at least how to begin to get it set up. High end radios from Futaba, etc are expensive. For that demographic, I don't think they realize all of the things that mid- high level car radios do, and how easy it is to use them. For racing.... right now it's no comparison. The expensive radios have all of the features needed, they are easy to use... intuitive menus and features, and the build quality is much better imo

@@BigWillieFPV Ty I appreciate the reply. All the electronics in my Traxxas vehicles come out immediately. @@FYRC15I’ve got the Elrs version tm12, Spektrum was my first 2.4ghz Tx sold it quickly and switched to Futaba, now I’m Radiomasters for almost everything except the traxxas cars, purely for stability control works well on the dirt, gravel and steep hills, maybe Elrs might come out with a gyro one day, still I’d love to have them on the TM12 maybe I’ll try a 3rd party gyro, with the size of the Elrs Rx I’d likely fit a gyro in the traxxas receiver box 😂
Tamiya makes a TT-02 kit with a Mustang body that I bet you would have a ton of fun with. It takes a couple hours to build the chassis, a few hours to paint, and an obnoxiously long time to put the stickers on(seriously so long it kinda hurts); but it's well worth it in the end. Then if you start getting into it you can get "hop-ups" and upgrade the shit out of it.
I just decided to purchase the Mt12 And i'm having a problem, when I Try to go into ExpressLRS it stay stuck on the loading screen, trying to update the firmware right now and it's not easy.
The setup file provided seems not to work since some fw version. Also, for fuck's sake, why the trims had to be renamed? I saw some explanation about 'seasoned surface drivers' asking for this change. Is there some surface type EdgeTX transmitter on the market hat has the trim switches physically labeled as TH or ST?
I got one of these yesterday, but then had to order batteries for it. Honestly... at this point I wish I could return it; it'll probably end up in Marketplace. This thing is just way too f'ing complicated and has an absolutely AWFUL UI. If they really wanted to make it easy to setup, there should be an app to run on your Mac or PC and then plug the USB port into it... or save it to a file you can put on the SD card. I'd go even farther and make it possible to use a phone app to set it up via Bluetooth... but that's probably asking too much. I'm just to the point in my life that I'm unwilling to take the time to learn how to use something that has a terrible UI.
This video includes a file you can download to copy my exact and complete radio setup. You put it on your SD card, just like you asked, and import it. This video shows how to do it. But to be honest, this radio is NOT intended to be "easy to set up". That is not a selling point of this radio. The selling point of this radio is that it is powerful, feature-packed, and infinitately customizable. If you want easy to use, you'll be buying a different brand. But you'll also be paying 3x as much for the same or less features and performance.
He didn't say it was a bad radio.... he said the UI is bad, and he's right. Just look at how many steps and missteps it took in this video to do some very basic things. Edgetx is a powerful operating system, but there is a steep learning curve for the first time user. Not everyone is going to want to invest hours programming a radio to do just the basic things needed to run a car. A simple fix would be some good preset models that can be downloaded or configured in an app. Radiomaster didn't do their work imo... the radio should have come with functional models out of the box. Ch1 is throttle... seriously?
Everybody is telling me that channel 1 should be steering and channel 2 throttle, so I have set up the downloadable model that way. If you need to make that change yourself, you can do it in the MIXER screen. Just long-press and MOVE and then roll the mixer line up or down to the new channel with the jog wheel.

JB the MT12 pioneer.
Thank you for providing this valuable content, I’m waiting for my MT12 and hopefully I’m able to load your provided model.
How does the controller know the difference between braking and reverse?
@@JoshuaBardwellfor electric vehicles braking and reverse are managed by the speed controller (some higher end speed controllers don't have reverse)
But for speed controllers with the reverse function, if you push full brake, let trigger go to the neutral position, and then push forward again, the vehicle will move in reverse.
So if you wanted some kind of different behavior like, full throttle on reverse, but limited throttle on brake, I don't see how you could do that without modifying the ESC.
postion of the chanel? in a nitro rc the throttle and brake are on a seperate servo from the steering
A few years ago I wanted all these options, I prefer sticks; easier for me as I need pin point steering at my age, so I used the RadioLink AT10. Super range with all the extra channels. I'm happy to see you Josh RC car style! Especially when you're getting chased by a quad hint 😁
These are the same changes I made to my mt12 the first night. Your method is so much cleaner though so I reprogrammed my models
More videos on the MT12 please Jeremy. Thanks so much for doing this.
I frequent a done/rc shop in Albuquerque called DroneMax, a LOT of us have MT12's, this is going to help a lot of use who have these and did not have this functionality like the fancy guys have with their Futaba's.
THIS! is the video I needed. Great content.
Love the video! Thanks
One thing I want to try is using the original timer start/stop button to disable/enable the trim switches. I’ve accidentally hit the trims while wearing gloves too many times.
Great Video, the RC drag racing world needs to see the potential of this radio. Thank you for the great info
Bardwell, a surface king in the making!
great content as usual. Radiomaster should just hire you to make a default model
Thank you so much for your tutorial. Could you please also show how to set up some specific car functions like ABS, idle up, convert trims to 2-3-4 and more-positions switches?
Here is how to convert a trim switch to an n-position rotary switch: ruclips.net/video/wa43z6XohW4/видео.html
LOL.
FANTASTIC tutorial, Joshua! Thanks a bunch!!! 😃
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
And happy holidays!
Did you figure out the throttle center issue. I've tried to adjust the throttle itself and the trims after a couple calibrations.
I recalibrate the ESC and then everything has been fine.
It will do anything you can think of- google edge tx companion
The trim can absolutely be made to control both channels. I'd just have to understand the desired logic between the front and rear axles.
Great videos on this radio. One question... How do you set up a switch (like SB) to toggle lights?
Sorry, forgot to add that my original RX had the lights toggled by ch3.
Set up a new MIXER line on ch3 with the swtich as the SRC. That's it.
i saw your light turn off at the 26:11 mark. i don't even HAVE a surface vehicle but NOW....Dammit Joshua.....
The Nano Diversity is a name for a Crossfire receiver. That can't bind to an ELRS radio.
Makes sense as to why he had a stick radio must run on that crossfire. I was just curious on how that works to control 8 channels
That UI and screen is exactly the same as the futuba 3PK I used over 15 years ago in RC racing.
I must be missing something, how do you start the timer and assign a button
12:39 I never knew that OpenTX/EdgeTX had long-press sub-menus like that! Like I knew you could long-press for a menu obviously, but not that you could do it over and over to get more and more menus.
Actually, I only just figured it out myself.
Great video!!! Can you assign a trim switches to control channel inputs?
You can basically do whatever you want to be honest.
How do I stop the trims from vibrating when they center and to stop keeping track of if they're centered? I plan to use my trim switches as momentary three position switches to control winches on my crawler.
I watched your video "your trim switches are useless" and it was similar to the tx-16 disabling the trims as being trims. Thanks for the content.
I show in this video how to disable the trim function in the Drive Modes screen.
Does it support steering and traction control like spektrum AVC?
Thanks god your doing this please do more !!! I learned a ton !!! New subscriber
More to come!
Go to the model screen, long press jog wheel, Restore Model.
@@JoshuaBardwell theres two in that list, i accidentally made a backup of model02 and the backup of the mt12 file that it comes with are all that are there to choose from.

ELRS receivers don't have gyros (yet).
@@JoshuaBardwell im using a radiolink rx r6fg it has built in gyro according to the manual it says default ch 3 is for gyro but i cant get it to work i the 4in1 radiomaster
If the radiomaster is outputting on channel 3, then there's not much more you can ask it to do. Check the outputs from the RX with a servo tester and see if the output is coming on a different channel maybe.

Wow, I’ve got a lot of learning to do 😮. First thing I need for racing is program the fail safe. Please make more content 🙏
What should the controller do upon failsafe?
@@JoshuaBardwell I'd say for electric cars everything should just return to the neutral position, but for a nitro car it should go to neutral or full brakes so you don't have a runaway.
I've already tested it on ELRS and it works by default going to neutral. I've not setup any of my nitro cars yet.
@@JoshuaBardwell I Land speed race and the regs say if reception is lost it must fail safe to full brake.
If it goes full back on throttle, isn't there a risk the car would go full speed reverse instead of braking?
@@JoshuaBardwell we disable the reverse and run fwd/brake only. To give you an idea. Multi motor 1/7th scale cars doing over 200mph and weigh 20 pounds give or take. The Elrs is exciting as we are currently strapping 4w wifi boosters to get the range. The latency to turn the thing around is ridiculous.
Got a question I deleted the m12 model on the model page and now I can't get the car to do anything is there a way to recover the m12
Hello. Could you tell me how you implemented the ABS function on this Radiomaster MT12?
Drag brake?
Hello Mister Bardwell 👋🏻
Excuse me I had your model and I just flashed the last EdgeTX and ELRS versions and now it changes the settings and it's not working correctly, what do you recommend me to do?
I thought by using Google Bard I would have the answers in no time, but A.I. seems to to be lost on it 😄
It's given me many options to try, but none have worked so far.
U earned my subscription brother!!!!
It's trivial to swap the channels if the order really matters. The radio is completely programmable.
@@JoshuaBardwell oh, I know that, you know that, but the EdgeTX noobs might not. I'm saying it should be default :)
What firmware you using? I tried it multiple times and the steering doesn't work.
Is there any way you can make a video like this but for drifting? Im having trouble with my yokomo v4 gyro and the mt12 elrs
Now making expo on a quick switch ...one for throttle, one for steering could be extremely convenient.

what is the pwm frequency at the output of the receiver? Is 360Hz digital mode supported? or just analogue 60Hz?

ELRS receivers support the following PWM output modes: * PWM output frequencies: 50Hz, 60Hz, 100Hz, 160Hz, 333Hz, 400Hz * 10kHz Duty Cycle 0-100% PWM (e.g. for driving a brushed motor FET) * Binary On/Off (High/Low signal output) * DSHOT300 (for driving brushless motor ESCs; ESP32-based receivers only)

Does anyone know if it's possible to configure Spektrum AVC receiver with the MT12 ? This is seriously the only point that holds me back from changing my dx5c !
Nothing beats a Sanwa or Futaba remote.
How much would you have to pay to get the features and performance of this radio from Sanwa and Futaba?
But there are other radios at the same price at the MT12 that do all of the normal things that racers need for cars... end points, expo, trims etc. I didn't get this radio to save money or to get more features. I just found it interesting and I think this could be the future.... and I like the 18650s, and wanted the ability to bind to multiple rxs etc.
JB audience are drone guys who became slightly interested in RC cars/boats. I believe the MT12 is more than enough for our purposes. No offense to Futaba and the other guy.
@@imadabualia4843 No doubt.... it's a great radio for drone guys who already know edgetx and don't have much experience with cars. For that demographic, I don't think they realize all of the things that mid- high level car radios do, and how easy it is to use them. For racing.... right now it's no comparison. The expensive radios have all of the features needed, they are easy to use... intuitive menus and features, and the build quality is much better imo

If they really wanted to make it easy to setup, there should be an app to run on your Mac or PC and then plug the USB port into it... or save it to a file you can put on the SD card. I'd go even farther and make it possible to use a phone app to set it up via Bluetooth... but that's probably asking too much. I'm just to the point in my life that I'm unwilling to take the time to learn how to use something that has a terrible UI.
just because you dont know how to use it doesnt make it a bad radio, it makes you a bad user.
@@JoshuaBardwell AMEN!
I think that’s fair. But I doubt you will ever get that amount of options and possibilities with a really easy UI.
Ch1 is throttle... seriously?
Nice radio. The controller collection is getting large and stupid, maybe just one to do all.
