- We've got a special project coming up for the story of Scholomance, but we can't visit the school of necromancy without talking about the plaguelands. The people of lordaeron rejoiced when their prince Arthas returned home from Northrend. They did not know that he had picked up Frostmourne and became an agent of the Lich King. The plague, death and destruction that swept over them would effect generations to come... I hope you'll enjoy ^_^

the plaguelands have the saddest and more interesting lore in the game, really a shame so many players rushed thru them or skipped them all together

Eastern Plaguelands should be next. Because why not just keep the Plaguelands together and explain more of the Fordring questline.

In my opinion,Western Plaguelands is the best zone along with Eastern Plaguelands
I loved doing it back in like classic to BC. Zone was so mob heavy and made playing with friends rewarding. Actually felt like the scourge threat was dangerous instead of just slashing down 10 mobs at a time
Those zones really where great. Since I played WC3 back in the day, those zones had such a strong connection to the Scourge campaign.
They not only looked great, but all the ghosts you meet, the stuff you discovered while question was chilling - which really fits the place and the history of it.
To this day, Scholomance and Stratholme are one of my favorite dungeons, because they as well are so creepy design - or where, back in the day...
It is a mighty fine day whenever a Nobbel videos is published.

Nobble, given there is a high amount of titan-related content in BFA, could you do the lore of Storm Peaks? With the updated Hati questline, I got so nostalgic of WOTLK & I fear I’ve completely forgotten all of Storm Peaks’ lore 😅

Damn, how lucky is this, just 3 days ago I played on a WTOLK server and while leveling, I kept on wondering what happened to Eastern Plaguelands and to Western Plaguelands, what exactly did Arthas do here. After that, I realized I knew what happened in Stratholme but I didn't know much about Scholomance and I did some research. Now you post about all these. Thanks! :D

western plaguelands is my favorite zone and old version of scholomance is my favorite dungeon.
Wow first time i paid this much attention to the lore of the western plagueland, so much suffering hope one expansion we can see it for what ot was before the plague.
Ps im excited for schoolomance lore, my excitment cant be measured.
When the quest to rescue Koltira was available, I pretty much say. "Yes Thassarian. Let's go save your boyfriend!" I was way too excited for that quest.

Admit that was my reaction too.
I gotta be honest, if it wasn't for the fact that I knew much of the lore already, I don't think I would have been able to follow along with any of this. There was a lot of side notes to other events, people and places, that it all just seemed jumbled and hard to follow along with. I hardly knew where we were, what exectly was being talked about, if it was an event outside the zone, or quests, classic or Cata. Overall Pretty confusingly told.
17:37 I could have sworn he said Arse Druid. Im like " Whats an ArseDruid?" after about half a minute i realized what he said, and how stupid i can be at times.
from Lordearon to plaguelands, was the reason i wanted to play wow. I want to see what happend in WC3 but then up close.

If you don't mind me asking, how does one gather the information required to make HUNDREDS of lore videos? Can all of this information actually be collected from playing the game(s)?
I am aware of the Warcraft novels and I'm sure that helps. If you're willing to share some of your process I'm very interested.

Different sources gathered. Warcraft 3 and the games are a good start. Chronicles volume 1,2 and 3 are amazing and cleaned up the lore quite a bit. Perfect spot to begin any lore journey. After that there are comics, novels, short stories, audio dramas, youtube videos that you could check out for specific information. Of course there's also WoWpedia, a website that has a massive databank of information regarding WoW

How does the spirit of Uther keep showing up when it should've been sucked up by Frostmourne when Arthas killed him with it? I think there's more to this story... something is pretending to be Uther when it's not.. (well since Frostmourne was broken it might be him but... before it couldn't have been)

I REALLY hope that you added some connection to the "real" Scholomance that was imagind to be a black magicschool located somewhere in Transylvania and run by Satan himself.
