Man, Dr Owens is right up there with my favorite characters of the show (not even just Side-Characters, but main characters as well) and I am really concerned about him honestly.
I think there is a > 50% chance that he doesn't make it though the season honestly which will break my heart.
I do "like" your scene of Owens dying, specifically because it is basically a mirror to how he sacrificed himself in Season 2 because let's not forget: He satisfied himself once already and not even for "the special Eleven" but just some normal people.
Also, what I love when rewatching Season 2 is that there are hints right away that he is a good guy. Of course even a bad guy would probably be happy and sympathetic to the outside (specifically Will, Hopper and Joyce) BUT what is striking is what type of environment he build inside the lab (even when nobody is around). He knows everybody personally, engages in Small-Talk and is pretty open with his staff. Of course that was no 100% guarantee that he is good but you need to look at how people treat their "employees" to know more about their character (especially in contrast to Brenner the previous season who doesn't even care that a guard just died)
I think many people are misjudging how much Owens knows. He was really high up in multiple parts of government it seems and liked enough that even after being fired still having many connections. He is also the first one in S4 that realizes who Vecna is (even if it is not presented to us in that order), the one who knows that Brenner has a way to get back Elevens Powers, ...
I am glad you didn't underestimate his knowledge and connections.
The lab storyline/government conspiracy part is why I watched the show in the first place and Dr Owens plays a massive part in that

I want to see Owens work with Mr. Clarke and Suzie on something with science in which he’s impressed by their intelligence
i agree. dr owen’s is definitely a good guy. i also think he has some underlying info about brenner or vecna that could help the gang in season 5. his chances of dying are probably 85-100 percent because he is a main-ish character but also not super central so it would make sense for the duffers to kill him off.
I think he is closer to vecna than we think. In season 4 when his house gets raided, his wife says, "those are Peter's old school projects, what do you need those for?"...my mind goes to the fact that they called vecna Peter at the lab! It's just food for thought!

I really hope the military will realize at some point in the season that Eleven is innocent. I don’t want her to have to hide for the rest of her life or have to change her identity in order to pursue with her life.
Well, Owens does have pictures on how Alice and Virginia looked when Henry Creel killed them. And they have the footage of when he killed then people in Hawkins Lab. So I think Owens will explain everything to them after El escaped. Even though El attacked them, Sullivan will allow El to help, but that they’ll keep a close eye on her.

I don't think the Duffer's will allow him to die without a worthwhile marty's ending...
I personally think Owens is going to die pretty early in season 5.

Dr. Owens makes one of the perfect sacrifices or deaths for season 5. He is a definitely more likable character (I’d even say more than Murray tbh) and could also give the kids and military some valuable info.
I think hopper,joyce and Murray their mission will be save Owens
I think he will die, helping Eleven and crew. Duffer Brothers are really keeping Linda Hamilton's character very quiet. So it is hard to tell what she will be doing. In which I am thinking military. But she maybe something totally different.
Owens is certainly going to show a particular interest in Max's case, especially since Eleven told him about her

Synopsis

Eleven and Will have had a hard time adjusting to a new life, with their classmates being no help in the slightest. Things start to kick up again when Joyce and Murray find a secret message that changes what they previously thought happened during the Battle of Starcourt. Exactly, now that Steve is a favorite they now want him to get a happy ending (I want him to) but I just believe Nancy and Jonathan should stay together, Steve should find a girl that truly loves him. But I think he might die.
@@RadiAEP_ I believe steve dies, he started off in season one being the king with everything popularity, girls, etc so i believe that he will die alone (know it sound sad and dark) which i beliive is poetic in a sense or who know he might survirve and get a happy ending.....

I think Dr. Owen’s is a good guy. He will end up dying like Bob Newby. He’ll save 11 or somebody in a heroic way. Probably from the military.
I think after El escaped, Owens showed Sullivan the pictures of Alice and Virginia when they were killed by Henry. Along with the footage of when he killed then people at the lab. Therefore, Sullivan will realize that El is innocent and he takes Owens to Hawkins to plan on how to stop Vecna.
That is kinda what happened last season. El and crew left and desert and Dr Owen’s stayed behind and not giving up the info. How is he going to escape?
I think he’ll show Sullivan the pictures of Alice and Virginia Creel when they were killed by Henry. Along with the footage of when he killed the people in the lab, thus proving El’s innocence. Therefore, Sullivan will take him back to Hawkins so they can plan on how to stop Vecna.

I do think Owens will probably die but your prediction for his death scene is just to similar to Dr Brenner's death scene. Program to help eleven. Military raid. Dies protecting Eleven. You see what I mean?

my buddy is part of production you aren’t too far off but owen’s story line will be him escaping on his own at the end of season 4 he was tied up and left for dead he ends up making his way to hawkins to help the group and sadly doesn’t make it i’ll spoil one line “i should’ve killed you when i had the chance “ then sullivan proceeds to shoot and murder owen’s

@@RelayTS and also the radio stations purpose will serve as a hideout as hopper is supposed to be dead and eleven is hunted down basically on a shoot to kill order and the byers were attacked at there house in lanora at first they use it as a hideout but then realize they can utilize the radio station signal to communicate with eachother in the upside down and through they’re own stations that the military can’t tap into however since it is abandoned they will go through trials and tribulations to get it up and running which we also see in rosses photo dumps of the voltage regulator book and also the pre vis of steve and jonathan bumping a box together trying to get it to work
and then we also see in set pics the wheelers car parked at the radio station due to their house being raided by the military as they are searching for eleven and think she’s responsible for the murders after being raided they end up fleeing to hideout with the byers at the radio station karen and ted are very confused on why all of this is going on and then they discover the truth as joyce and hopper come clean about all the chaos going on in hawkins
