    It's so funny how we have this belief that what works for one person, will work for another. I'm a strong believer in each person finding out what works for themselves, without feeling like we're somehow "doing it wrong" because it's not what everyone else is doing, or that a specific diet is "wrong" because it doesn't work for us. I'm so glad you found this book and that it really works for you.

      Nikki, thanks a lot for your comment. Yes, right? How can the "one-size-fits-all" concept work for everyone? I'm glad too that eating for my blood type works so well for me.

    Thanks for sharing.Did you do a detox befote starting the diet or its not necessary

      Hi Susan, thanks for watching. It's not necessary to do a "detox" beforehand, because the Blood Type Diet itself detoxifies our body in a gradual manner through the avoidance of food that adds toxins to our system.

    I was vegetarian for 20 years, thinking I was doing the right thing, but totally failed to flourish. I am also O group and now that I am eating meat again I am so much healthier. This is certainly an important piece of the puzzle. Great video!

    It might not necessarily be because of blood type, anyone who is experiencing any kind of autoimmune issue will benefit from going low carb eating more meat cutting out dairy and some types of vegetables ones without seeds

    Louisa - I’m not sure you will see this comment since this video is older, however I was hoping to get your opinion. I own and follow both ER4YT and LR4YT. I was wondering what you thought was the next step for someone interested in more detail. Would it be determining secretor status or learning the genotype diet or bypassing and getting a personalized “recipe”? Thank you for your videos.

      Hi Ron, thanks for your message. My suggestion is for you to determine your secretor status, then get your personalized food list using the software SWAMI Xpress. This is the best course of action if you are willing to invest the costs for both. The SWAMI software calculates your unique genetic attributes and health history and incorporates both the Blood Type and GenoType, so you don't have to do trial-and-error with the GenoType Diet to see if it suits you better than the Blood Type Diet. Hope this helps.

      Search out and listen to Morley Robbins interviews on RUclips. His ~20 hours/week for 10 years has revealed a lot about key wellness lever, IMHO. The key players are magnesium, retinol, food-based copper, ceruloplasmin (perhaps the most sophisticated enzyme in the human body (>40x more complex than insulin), and microscopic rusty iron filings added to the food supply starting in the 1940's. Low active ceruloplasmin status equals rogue iron and copper in the body. The resulting oxidative stress damages enzyme systems, macrophages, cells, tissues, and organs.

      BTW, this applied biochemistry can work synergistically with ER4YT. In fact, that's why I'm here. I'm going to integrate ER4YT and see how it goes for me.

    Hi Louisa.Is lactose free milk okey for O blood group.?

    • @EatRightChefLouisa
      @EatRightChefLouisa  7 лет назад +1

      Hi Susan, no, it's not. Try nut milk such as almond or rice milk, but make sure there are no questionable ingredients such as carrageenan in it.
