I live in South Mississippi and the bugs especially mosquitos and love bugs reak havoc on vehicles, but little secret we use is a laundry fabric softener sheet; just wet it with water or use residual water from washing vehicle and just rub it off like washing it. You will be amazed.
I just did this after a 4900 mile road trip. It works really well as long as you make sure you change out the sheets if they get too full with bugs and keep the car lubricated with shampoo!
Love to see it man! Many people say the pressure washer does the job itself like cleaning wheels! It’s all a process and the chemical helps tons!
3Ds Bug remover is probably the best one ive came across
For me, I would rinse off what I can, spray the bug remover, hit it with the soap, scrub the area with a mesh applicator, rinse off and dry. But you do what works for you. Thanks for sharing.
Acts 4:31 to 32 l can see that you pray b4 work because you speak God's word boldly and then you share what you have learnt. Believers share their possessions thank you man all the love from South Africa.
Mr Wayne,
In the Texas heat, my company At Your Service Detail & Paint Correction, We use Citrol 266 citrus degreaser. Spray it on, allow it to dwell 2 mins, wipe off,
Appreciate your videos, my friend
William
Look up a product called “brake-R non acid wheel cleaner “ works great on bugs when diluted 50-50 . Spray down car with water - spray solution - power wash off the bugs within 15-20 seconds . It’s AMAZING how well it works . Never seen a product like it . Not even concentrated bug cleaner .no scrubbing needed . Great for light/tan mats as well.
You’re tryna get me sued
Can you post a video on the water tank, pump, pressure washer setup? I’m looking into starting off, but confused as to how everything is set up. Anyways, keep grinding. I see the upgrades and hard work man 👌🏻
The opposite side of the micro mitt has for bugs easy to scrub off it looks like a net on the other side.
When I washed cars at my old job about 10 years ago, I used fabric softener sheets. Just don't press too hard. Made taking bugs off very easy.
I use APC diluted 4/1 and let that dwell for a few seconds and use a scratch free microfiber sponge. Agitate then foam and rinse and that will cover all your bases without having to buy a specific “bug spray” and works just as well! Keep at it man!
Degreaser works 10to 1
Apc is a good solution for everything really… Just know how to use it right.
What happens if you get vinyl and it faded that happen to me?
@@richardfox3924 were you scrubbing the ever living shit out of it? It sounds like it was already getting sun damage. You can dress it and it should look better.
@@richardfox3924 diluted apc should be fine
Grew up in Citrus Heights, way to represent the 916!!
I use Bactive Desinfectant wipes to remove bugs and tar before I wash the car. I purchased them as hand sanitizers during the pandemic but now I use them to clean all kinds of stuff. They take bathtub ring off my fiberglass jetted tub with ease, only thing I've found that works well. Tired them the Tesla and they work perfectly to remove bugs and tar. Very handy because there is nothing to wash out, you just toss them.
Nice job, Wayne! Quick question - does the Bug Off weaken any coating/wax/sealant that might be on the car?
@Michael Romero Thanks, Michael!
The p&s bug off is safe on wax and sealant too
I use a bug remover from a company called Majestic Solutions. I always start with the front of a vehicle and rinse off as much dirt/bugs/road grime, then I hit sections with the bug remover and let it soak for a minute. I have a certain mitt I use only for the front, so I add some car wash to that to lubricate and work on that area. I rinse and add more bug off as needed to get off the tough splatters all while constantly rinsing out the wash mitt. Once the front is clean, then I continue to wash the car, top down, using several mitts for each area.
Sheeessh that truck lookin clean, Glory be to God
Hey Wayne. You are awesome. Only detailer I follow. I'm learning all my tricks from u being a newbie. I use P&S products that you use and recommend in your videos
Good content Hunter, I been watching here from the streets of NYC homie. Is there an Update vid on Uhual coming soon ?
Love the channel been following for a while
You got me to get an A-Frame
It’s gotten me so much business
Keep doing your thing homie
Been watching you man and props goes out to you! Would love to see a tutorial on headliners
Citrol best thing ever super easy
Hey Wayne. Jax Wax made ones no matter how bad the bugs are they melt off with the spray. No washing them just rinse with the pressure washer
Great video Wayne. Rather than foaming on your 2nd step, I'd suggest to simply spray the Bug Off and use a Jersey Scrubber from the Rag Company. While the foam looks pretty and makes a good show, it's messy and you already cleaned the hood at this point. Why clean it a 2nd time? Just looking out for you bro so you can be more efficient. Keep up the great work!
The first time he sprayed the foam was just to show an example of how the bugs will still be there after just simply washing the car like normal. Cuz he was saying he used to wash the car & than notice the bugs were still there, so he was just showing us that.
I appreciate the tip on this!! Adding the bug off to my arsenal ASAP!
What dilution ratio do you use?
You will degrade any coating , ceramic or not(ceramic takes much longer tho) , using bug removers of any brand. They tend to be acidic to attack the organic material , and I highly suggest not rubbing over and over with the same wash mitt . Instead use a microfiber towel , flipping often and scooping as much as possible, avoiding a rubbing motion. As far as cleaners go , anything that can remove bugs is typically harsh and adding back to your protection is key. Using your best judgment and always try to use the least aggressive method possible for any cleaning.
What soap are you using?
Where did you get that spray nozzle?
What foam cannon and ‘snub gun’ attachments do you use?
Awesome work!!! And remember get bugs off asap it can eat up your paint and plastic.
Spray with a pre-rinse (ONR, N-914, Absolute), or bug remover and let it dwell. Foam it up, then scrub with a jersey bug remover. Quicker and safer on the surface than blasting 1500+ psi, pushing the bugs deeper into the paint.
As a detailer for 6 years, my method for bugs is surprisingly dryer sheets . Strong enough to remove bugs with out mauring the paint !! It might leave a little residue but easily wipes off ! Try it out!
Yooooo that’s a game changer! I’m gonna try that on my car before trying it on a clients tho lol thank you for the info!
I don’t have that much faith in the dryer sheets not marring the paint. They do work but try soaking a dryer sheet in some water in a bottle and spray it on then clean it…. hardly anything comes off without quite a bit of elbow grease which tells me it’s the aggressiveness of the sheet that is getting them off.
Good informative vids as always. With bugs, I spray my apc on the bugs first, let it sit for 2 mins then blast it off.
For something that’s supposed to be outside 100% of the time the damn paint is hella sensitive like you said lol trying to keep it perfect is a task lol
Wow dude I go hunting in Florida and every time I come home my truck is full of bugs thank you for your help and tip !!!! Also where can I get that hose gun and. The foam gun that is really awesome thank you again 👍👍👍👍
You ain't got a spray for that Wayne? 😂😂
I would spray for the bugs first, let it sit for a bit. Spray foam the whole vehicle, wash it. Most of it should come off. Put a good layer of wax or ceramic coating on the front or ppf that will help for the future...
Back when I installed PPF I used dryer sheets to remove bug spots. Soaked one in the water bottle then used one to gently wipe them off.
Wayne, use a gorilla step ladder to reach those tough spots on the roof and hood of those trucks. Its a back and arm saver! peace out!
Rinse the car as a final rinse wax with Snuggle Fabric Softener . It's a cationic emulsion . Stay Cool Bro .
One question, this bug remover and diluted?! what product?!
How much pressure did you use with the Air compressor with out damaging the vehicle
Step 3, a nice spray wax or sealant to protect it from next time.😊
Won’t make a difference to some but splats
@@acrylicsbyaaliyahx2336it does make a difference they’ll be easy to clean next time
Preciate all your insight and the knowledge you be droppin bro! Continued success and blessings
i'll have to try the P&S. been using the OTS turtle wax.
Thanks for the tip!
I know there’s a thousand ways and products out there but honestly I haven’t seen better detailing products than Garry Dean’s Detail Juice. He sells a clean and prep concentrate that you dilute to your liking but it eats bugs! I’m not kidding about that, hardly any elbow grease. I wash then come back with that spray let it dwell for about a min and wipe away with your wash media. Simple as that. You’ll might need to reapply any wax or sealant if they don’t have much longevity but it’s worth it. 👍
What is the hi pressure water gun you using
Hey this is a basic question...do you put your wash mat in just a bucket of water when washing after you foam the car? Or do you make a bucket of soap and water, and then hand wash off the foam before rinsing? I've seen guys do it a few different ways.
What up Wayne, what tie of pressure washer are you using
How or where do you get your DI water? Portable filter or wasup?
I use the chemical guys bug and tar remover
Haven’t had and bug problems
Solid!!! What type sprayer is that nozzle also and car wash?
What soap goes onto the foam sprayer?
Other than getting the hose connector turned around (watch out for that one), the machine is simple to put together and use ruclips.net/user/postUgkxfQauTxLT0JLSvqkq10rD79TU4k0Vz8zP . And very nice, too. I'm surprised at the power-it's more than we'll ever need, and we've not even used the most powerful setting yet.I've cleaned off a dirty concrete porch to get it ready for sealing, started to clean siding, and I know this pressure washer will be terrific for cleaning tools this fall. The only issue we had is we had turned around the hose connector, and it leaked. Once it was on correctly, though, we had no problems with the connection. Just remember that the end with the green knob goes towards the hose. It's obvious now what we did wrong, but not necessarily obvious at the time.
Dude sitting in driver seat with the door open was killing me... CLOSE THE DAMN DOOR.. lol
Looking and learning from Trinidad the bug spray doesn't damage the paint to get chemicals from America is so costly
Great video, to many steps to get the bugs off. You should try Melco Bug Off, one easy step to get the bugs off. With Melco you spray the area give 30 secods, then wipe it off clean. Keep on husling
would a good apc get out the bugs as a prespray?
Do you charge extra or does it always include in basic package?
What pressure washer do u use? And cannon
Bro thanks for the tips and tricks berry nice work for that im smashing my like botton Texas style yahoooooooooo katakaboooooooooooooooom
Thanks for posting this very informative video. Would you know of a way to get older bug splatter left behind. Wasn't able to get it fully remover. I tried several different things but not this. Just wondering if there's a trick for removing old bug residue?
Thanks again
I like that background music, great video, revenge of the bugs, oh yeah...👍
What pressure washer are you using bro
Yes sir! Give it all to God!
Can you do a video of you pulling up and how you set up for your job like what you do 1st 2nd 3rd
“They don’t got a spray for that Wayne?” 🤣
Hey Wayne nice job I was wondering are you detailers preparing for the future in California with your governor doing away with gasoline vehicles and what's your thoughts on that thanks
Why you don't use the bug pad cousin
Another great video! Keep up the great work!!
What’s that on the end of the foam cannon ?
Bro you got a link to a short pressure washer gun that you recommend?
My bad cousin I like your style
Couldn't clay bar take the bugs off without the harsh chemicals?
That foam cannon sounds dope where can i get one?
Hunter gettin it!! 🔥 You motivate me bro!!
the link for the brushes are broken
for the pass couple vids just a heads up!
3d bug remover diluted 10-1 and a 3000psi pressure washer I never had to scrub for a bug.
Nice job but I would suggest not doing this in direct sunlight..
Super Clean… every…time
You gotta do what you gotta do. Good job
I just spray the bug off, let sit for a minute and spray off with a turbo nozzle from a safe distance. Everything comes off in one step.
Thanks for the tips. Really helped out
I’m 18 and plan on starting a mobile detailing business since really i don’t see myself working regular jobs , I want to do something w freedom so thx for inspiring bro❗️
Man I like your socks😂😂😂
dryer sheets dissolve the bugs too
Can we get a update with uhaul????
Have you tried Turtle wax - Max Power ?
It’s inexpensive and Seems to do the job with bugs
Haha Bug Off is a secret weapon 👍🏼 that truck has a decent coating on it also. That’s why it cleaned so nice without the harsher chemicals…
Super Dope Content Hunter👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
Excellent job!!!
You are awesome man!! Like you said Let’s grow 🙏🙌
Just ordered a jug of the P&S Bug Off...
Apc first on all soil areas. save money it’s cheaper then bug spray
What type of pressure washer do you use?
A water one
Awesome from dollar tree
I never see tar being removed on these detailing videos in the states? Is it something to do with the road surface? Here in Ireland, when prepping a car for polish/wax we have to remove tar from the body. These are hard black particles that come from roads and stick to the body and concentrate around wheel arches and bumpers. It's an extra step and a time consuming ball ache.
the way most roads are designed there isnt much tart that ends up on cars. especially around the south 99% is going to be bugs
I use super clean. Diluted no need to spend money on dedicated bug remover
Was up bro I would love to ride along with you so I can learn the proper way to detail
The bug spray I used really didn't work that great from armirol. I use alot of there products and they bin not that good other then the extreme tire clean.
Peace Wayne, many blessings to you, Javari & Reyes (no disrespect if I spelled any names wrong) appreciate the content!
Please send me a link to a foam cannon that does that!!
Matcc makes a good foam canon kit same with max shine. Just make sure it fits your pressure washer
