Why use a Bug Remover when you have All-Purpose Cleaner?

- Once again, we face the age-old dilemma of cleaning products: Use a one-size-fits-all chemical to keep your detailing arsenal simple OR go for a product specifically-tailored to tackle the task at-hand-- So, which is the right move?
In today's video, Anthony looks to answer this very question on BUGS! Lots and lots and LOTS of bugs splattered across the headlights, grille, bumper, windshield and more of a Toyota Tacoma that's clearly seen some....stuff.
In this scenario, we pit high quality All-Purpose Cleaner against dedicated Bug Remover chemicals to see how they stack up to one another in performance, cost & other valuable metrics.
⚠️ PLEASE NOTE ⚠️ While the Ultra Clay Scrubber is an excellent tool, exposure to certain chemicals like tar and bug removers can cause the synthetic clay to temporarily soften, leading to premature wear and the eventual need for replacement. To prolong the life of your Ultra Clay Scrubber and maintain best results, consider using our Jersey Bug Scrubber instead! (See below)

I started using P&S Bug Off this year on a whim, just to see how well it worked. I have since bought a gallon and am never looking back! Lol
Thanks Anthony great video.
Lol at delicious B Roll! I have Green Star and it works well with a scrubber. My personal bug remover is G8 and it is really awesome on uncoated cars and coated cars. The P&S looks like a good product too. Thank you the video!
i really enjoy bugoff, and i find that there is less etching compared to even a diluted APC.
I'm all about that Stjarnagloss Forst life for bugs 🐛
Should have zoomed in after the area was sprayed and before you went over it with the bug scrubber. Would have liked to see the effectiveness of each.
I've started using Seafoam bugs B gone. It works really well when you follow directions.
Dedicated bug removers are totally worth it. Less scrubbing = less scratching = less polishing. Gotta have that enzyme action
Nah. It's yet another product, it's basically just a stronger APC. If he had upped the concentration of the APC it would have had the same effect. There's a reason some established product lines don't have dedicated bug removers, like Optimum.

There are many of us, me included, that have individual products for individual jobs. A APC can supersede other products for a fraction of the price
Hey Anthony great video. Where you get the Koch Chemie for your IK sprayer? Didn’t see them in store. That looks awesome.
I actually found them there on the kcx US site $2 per label
I like Big Bug Scrubbers and I cannot lie 💪🧼
You unfortunately have those Louisiana bugs, they're built different
What's your go too for bugs?
@@thesamsquatch5224 bug off and hope for the best
The Turtle Wax Bug and Tar Remover product works very well and it’s inexpensive.
Forst is also great at removing bugs 💪
Yep here in the Midwest serious bugs I just always full send P&S bug off. #team P&S 👊🏼👊🏼
how would you clean ff bugs if you didnt want to take a ceramic coating off?
Yes bug removers is must have❤👍🏻
Why would I use this product when I can just use simple green at a far lower cost?
Curious what the effects of using P&S Terminator would be like being it's enzyme-based.
can you use bug removers every day?
W8 is probably the best bug removed I’ve used
Surfex HD 1:20 (and for coated cars 1:30) is all I need
Which bug remover is better I use gtechniq and p and s ? The gtechniq is more money
I'm all about 3D bug best so far 1:6
The green star is not so strong as an Apc, best diluted 1:3 with insects. Still there are no need for a dedicated bug remover IMO
Ready to roll
Try hyperclean bug
Does anybody remember that time Anthony said - “where’s all my big H i t l e r s at” on noob question Thursday.
Those were the dayz.
Mmmmmm dilicious🤭
Take that shitty 40* tip off and get a 15* degree on and you wont need to scrub at all...
