More video more frequently would help you to grow this channel and its revenue and its not like you're not doing the job on the bike already. Most under rated channel on YT imo. Best of luck !

Good on you for the resurrection. I hate this disposable generation. As a farmer I'm a compulsive fixer. In the 1970's we used to drill out the top of the fork tube nut and install an alloy auto rim air valve, and pump just a few psi of air in the forks. A simple cheap upgrade for an old bike. I would ad a 10mm spacer washer on top of the fork spring, this wouldn't hurt either as the springs have shortened over the yrs too. Just an old Bushy's fix it advice for ya.

Oh man, and you drove this hunk of questionable japanese metal 1,000 miles AND took it 2 laps on an endurance race! For your style races I'd prob love the Kenda DT rear. They last forever(DOT) and have way better lateral traction than the trackmasters. But I run the Tusk Recon for hard enduro stuff

The Hog Rider is a rugged, dark-skinned man with a mohawk riding a large hog. He is bare-chested, wearing only a brown leather loincloth, a red belt and a pair of leather sandals. He has two large golden wristbands and a gold earring. His weapon of choice is a large warhammer.
His mount is a large boar/hog, about half its rider’s height; the Hog Rider holds a brown leather bridle which is looped around the boar’s tusks.
Because of his mount, the Hog Rider can jump over Walls, giving the user a great advantage over the enemy base.
Although he has high damage per second and moderate hit points, he only takes 2 minutes to train.
Hog Riders prioritize Defensive Structures above all other targets, and will bypass all other types of enemy Buildings and Troops while any Defenses remain on the battlefield. This is true even if they are under attack by enemy Clan Castle troops, Heroes or Skeleton Trap skeletons.
Note that like all Troops that prioritize Defenses, Hog Riders do not consider the Clan Castle to be a Defenses regardless of whether or not it contains enemy Troops.
Once all Defenses are destroyed, Hog Riders become like any other Troops with no preferred target; they will attack the nearest building to them regardless of type, and will turn and attack enemy units if they become aware of any nearby.

Off the top of my head I think 155 main, 42 pilot, and Keihin ECF or FCH needle will get you in a position where it runs but PWK style carbs are extremely finicky with jetting. If it's not absolutely dialed for your application it will have annoying characteristics. Once it's dialed it's sweet

I'm interested in that dial a jet to see if it makes the pumper/flatslide carbs more appealing.

    • @TortureTestMagazine
      @TortureTestMagazine  2 года назад +1

I'm not sure if it should be used with a pumper. Might be just fine but there could be a minor conflict. could probably be tuned out if the AP timing and volume can be precisely adjusted. What's not appealing about pumpers and flat slides?

@@TortureTestMagazine I'm not a racer and I ride an XR650L. Fuel consumption and elevation are the most important factors. I have heard that guys can get less than 30mpg with the pumpers on a 650. The other option is a Lectron, but I don't require a milled carburetor on my POS XR 😂. I ride with old guys on KTMs on dual sport type terrain, so keeping up isn't a huge problem.
I have no reason to dislike my CV carb. If I could get the same performance from the other styles of carbs without the problems, that would be cool.

Great Videos! I have the same bike, it has some missing Carb. parts that are no longer made. Can you recommend a simple Aftermarket Carb you would replace it with? Not racing, I'm just trail riding around a mountain with it.

Does the elevation you ride at fluctuate a lot?
Personally I would Get a PWK 36mm. A spesific model that is quality and reasonably Priced is an
      OKO 104 36mm.
Make sure to Get a Main and pilot jet kit for your carburator as well. If you have more questions I will try to Help.
