I own 14 foundations. I literally went on a two year long search looking for my holy grail. I have every price range from Wet and Wild to Koh Gen Do. I reach for, the most…..wait for it….. Almay TLC. I work night shift as an RN and it lasts throughout a 13 hour shift and still looks great in the am. It never cakes, never looks dry, and isn’t overly dewy. The only downside is the shade range (it sucks), however I was lucky to find my perfect shade. Influencer/makeup artist Nikki LaRose rated every drugstore foundation and loved the way this looked on the skin (she hated the shade range too). THIS foundation is all I really need.

I have honestly bought from both ends of the expense gradient... some really cheap stuff is not nice feeling or not lasting, but then some of the really expensive stuff doesn't deliver its promises either. Highend is usually pretty good, but at $90 a bottle, compared to a good quality chemist brand (L'Oréal or Revlon etc) for $35, I know what I'd rather buy.

I 100% agree with your #1 Pro Glow! Although I have many of the others and they wear okay on my 70+ dry skin, the L’Oreal Pro Glow ALWAYS looks and lasts beautifully. Thanks for another great video! ❤️

I love the L’Oreal True Match. I got the older formula before it was reformulated and it is still excellent. This year I have also loved the Revlon Illuminance foundation. Both of these make my mature skin look really nice and hydrated and natural. I also give a big big thumbs up to the tried and true!!

Tried so many foundations and I do like Loreal the best. I keep going back to the infallible pro glow. I am 60+ with dry skin, and people think I'm much younger. It's the pro glow!! 😊

Hi, Melissa! L'Oreal Pro Glow is a *drugstore* foundation love for me. The caveat on this one is it works for me only when I start by spraying on Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray first as a primer. Then I don't even need a setting powder or a finishing spritz of the setting spray. For reference, I am 63 and still have oily areas. This is a magical combo for me. Love that top on you 💙

No7 is still my drugstore holy grail, nothing beats it’s. Haus Labs is my high end holy grail foundation but I have to say No7 is it’s equal in every way, excluding price…

I have tried Fit me , Revlon and Wet and Wild foto focus, they are some of my favorites. My #1 is L’Oréal True Match on no make up days, I use the Wet and Wild tinted hydration. It works great on my dry, mature skin! (59)😊

Hi, Melissa! It took me forever to get there, but i finally did purchase and try the infallible pro glo, and im sold!! Glowy foundations make me nervous as im 59 years old, and i find most of them end up emphsizing all the things im trying to conceal. Not so with the infallible one, which is much more luminous than it is glowy, and gives a sof focus to the skin, as well.
Love love love it, and never going back!

I love the Believe foundation. You turned me on tonit years ago and I have never ever found a foundation that was so beautiful. I have dry skin and big poors and the coverage on this is soooo awesome and stays on the skin. Also, doesn't cause clogged poors or breakouts . Thanks for sharing

Thanks for this video Melissa. I love the Infallible in the bottle with the dark red cap. I have not tried the ones in the tube but have been meaning too. Right now I am using the Revlon Illuminating foundation and my tried and true Estee Lauder Double Wear. The double wear and the Revlon Longwear foundation for oily skin was my go too in my 20's and 30's and I am still loving them to this day some 20+ years later. Looking forward to youe next video.!!

I finally tried the Believe Beauty foundation and OMG it is so nice! I’ve only worn it a few times, so I need to play around with it still, but I can’t believe how good it is. I like the Loreal pro glow, but I it’s not my favorite. For $5.50 you can’t beat it.

I use to use the believe beauty foundation also & loved it! Unfortunately, dollar general never had my shade so I decided to try elf foundation & love it for my 60 year old skin!
I'm 75 years young and have been using Revlon ColorStay forever and tried switching switching a few times and keep coming back to
Revlon ColorStay. It has a beautiful medium coverage! ❤

The L'oreals are my favorite, using the pro matte on my t zone, and the pro glo on the rest of my face. Whenever I wear it I can't get over how great my skin looks. In fact I have gotten complements from strangers when I wear it. I also love the Maybelline Fit me and the Revlon. I have the Wet n Wild, but it kind of rubs off.

You look so beautiful and glowy in this video!! I have surprised myself lately in reaching for the newly reformulated Loreal true match foundation. For a while I didn’t like it because it sometimes looks dry on my skin. But the better I moisturize the more gorgeous it is, and it wears so well too!

Mrs M I have more foundations than I’d like to admit , I keep trying for a Holy Grail , I have loved Phoera for eons as it gives a great full coverage ( I have redness from Rosacea and brown discoloration from Melasma) but in the last few years as my skin is changing and becoming more dry , it wears cakey on me now !! I’ll try some of the tried and true faves here that weren’t so great in the past ( when my skin was oily ) thank you and I adore watching you each morning

I like the Maybelline Fit Me Matte and Poreless for my 71 year old combo/oily skin. I also really liked the Wet & Wild Photo Focus Matte one but just couldn't get past the scent. If they removed the scent, I would pick that one. Hope they are listening to us. Your hair and makeup are even lovelier today.
No7 Lift & Luminate, and No 7 Restore & Renew and the Loreal Pro Glow are my all time #1 favorites -- I switch these 3 out throughout the winter! They perform so beautifully on my dry 68 yr old skin. I can't be without them. I'll reach for the No 7 before Loreal - perfect colors and perfect texture. Love your foundation reviews...

Great recommendations! Some of them aren't available here in Europe but i found an retailer who ships the L'Oréal Infallible Pro matte version! The WNW matte is not perfect for my skin but i will try the Dewy as well! My favourites are L'Oréal infallible Fresh Wear, Maybelline Fit Me Matte and my Misha BB Cream!
Just dug out my Catrice true skin foundation and forgot how utterly flawless it is. This time I used the elf glow serum filter under it and wow what a fabulous combination!

I enjoyed my W n W dewy formula. I should see if I still have it. Also love the W n W tinted moisturizer in Light. It pulls a little yellow on me, but with a blue pigment, it’s fine. I’d love to try the no7. Used to also love the L’Oréal age rewind tinted moisturizer.

Loreal Pro Glow is my absolute favorite from the drugstore, gorgeous finish, great coverage, and lasts all day. The only thing I dislike about wet n wild's original photofocus foundation is that the wear time isn't great, so maybe I need to try it with a gripping primer.

I love LOreal Infallible Pro Glow foundation. I haven’t bought it in a couple of years but I am going to pick it up tomorrow. I once read that it is a perfect dupe for the LeMer foundation.

I’ve worn the No7 Protect & Perfect in the tube. It’s lovely. Haven’t tried the other No7 foundations. Might you do a video comparing all of them? If you already know the differences, could you talk about them sometime? BTW you look great in brown hair and pretty as usual.

I bought the Wet n Wild skin tint. At first I liked it, then I started to notice that, even with primer underneath, it started breaking up after about 10 uses. It started having a strong crayon smell, so I tossed it. I would always give the tube a slight squeeze up and down the tube, shake it and roll it between my hands. Didnt help.
I have been using the Neutrogena Skin Clearing formula for many years. Im 65 and still getting acne!! Ugh! Anyway, I have the perfect color. The acne spots are the only things I have to cover up. I have gray hair so I kind of look pasty without foundation. I have gotten alot of compliments on my complexion when i wear this. I have alot of scarring at the top of my cheeks. This foundation doesnt work well if I try too build up 3 coats in certain places, but 2 coats are ok.
Has anybody tried the consealer that comes in the silver lipstick type tube? I love it except that my eyes-top and bottom sweat really bad. I have to use powder before and after, but if I go outside in the winter when im not sweating, it looks look great. I want to try either a Revlon or Loreal foundation in the future! xoxo

I own every Foundation you named except the Believe only because dollar General is not in Canada, I personally find the Fit Me you mentioned to dry but I love the dewy n smooth vrs of it .

I hope they work. And you can also put a drop of face oil into your foundation for added moisture.
I do like the Catrice True Skin foundation a lot. I also tried the new Revlon Illuminance which came out this year that I also like. I mix the Revlon with my Clinique Serum foundation because the Clinique shade N52 to which I was color matched to about 35 years ago seems a tad light. I have the Revlon in 301 and that is a perfect match to my skin tone. I am a cool medium.
