Good morning Melissa it’s such a joy to wake up and get to hang out with you! I want to share a tip I learned from a perfume rep decades ago, I get a lot of migraines and the rep told me that for any perfumes that you love but don’t always play nice with you if you put the perfume behind your knee, as it is a pulse point like your wrists, giving it that bit of distance from your own nose but everyone else will still be able to smell your perfume and have no clue that you have it behind your knees.
Another plus to that is that it will get less sun and therefore you won’t develop those melasma type marks on your neck that can happen from perfume and sun exposure.
I hope this tip helps anyone else with migraines or allergies to be able to wear those stronger perfumes that we love 😊

I’m 52 years old and I love Tower 28 everyday. I have the NYX concealer too but, I love the Tower 28 coverage. I’m so glad other people my age are noticing what a great concealer it is for mature skin.
I hope NYX puts that concealer in a tube one day. It would be so much easier. ❤

@@tracyjohnson5023- Melissa did have gastro, then had excess skin removed. But I noticed an even greater weight loss since then and asked her how. She mentioned a few months back that she developed a blood clot in her liver and is immensely painful. It has caused added weight loss. 🙁
She did but gastric bypass awhile ago and tummy tuck more recently BUT my girl must be dieting because even tinier! Melissa what is your secret? Pleeez!
@@carolesimmons1 she said she eats small meals several times a day. When I was on the original Jenny Craig plan years ago, that’s what they recommended, 6 small meals a day vs 3 traditional servings. The idea was frequent digestion increases your metabolism. Of course, eating healthy too and never denying yourself a treat now and then so you don’t get bored. It did work. Maybe I should do that again!

It was my mother first bday after she passed away.
And she never left the house without her clothes, makeup, hair all so perfect. She was very old Hollywood yet got Multiple Sclerosis and became my child from lesions on brain while I was taking care of her before I inherited family genes.
Finding your channel I feel watching very late the day her bday has ended yet she passed away Sun a year ago is truly honoring my mother. She would love to off loved to go shopping with me and as I did about 9 years ago when I decided I needed to wear all natural makeup among skincare having a rare neurological disease among many more not able to leave the house.
Yet wearing makeup since age 4 dancing and performing till I got sick in my 20’s before I was about to start clothing line after taking care of my mother who became bedridden I then inherited family genes and never got to have companies done.
Thank you for bringing me as I can see all your kind and thoughtful subscribers like yourself quality products to buy.
This is the first video I have watched ahd I am very impressed with the dupes you have done seeing some of the short videos.
Excited to see the skincare you use on your dry skin as I use to use the corsx snail mucin as husband did too using same skincare routine as myself. He loved it yet I decided to change it up getting laneife milky toner because it makes our skin so hydrated and soft.
The corsx peptides I am very excited to try as a very popular estician on here raves about how great the product is especially for the price she uses with a night dermatology night cream with other peptides. Being a trained estician and makeup artist it’s hard not being able to leave house to see what products look like.
I am so excited to watch all your videos as I agree with one of your subscribers in that your a lot like Jen Phelps. I think all shoukd know that it doesn’t matter your age. That you are someone that is such a wonderful role model and your makeup is gorgeous as saw your eyeshadow look using huda palette.
I only heard about the finery dupes as some have put up what all of them are dupes for yet hadn’t heard any of the others most excited about seeing kosas duped.

I’m going to try that Redken one! I never tried the Olaplex one because it just was too much work for me 😂 wash, put it on and let it sit, wash again…I don’t have time for all that 😂 I’ve been using the Madison Reed Bonding Time, which is a leave in. You apply it to damp hair and leave it in. It works well for me and has been helping my hair, but I wouldn’t mind adding something else like the Redken into my routine! Thanks! ❤

Hi Kathy. I've noticed overall softening of crepy skin all around the eye. But my dark circles are inherited so I don't get much improvement on that front.

I like the NYX concealer, i always use two shades, and thats doable thanks to the affordable price. The medium coverage is too weak to just use one color for me, and the tower 28 I can use alone, so i dont think its a good alternative, but if i lost all my concealers and only had the Nyx for the under eye i would be fine with that. Edit: i havent tried letting it dry before blending, def teying that out :D

I am fixing to go buy new makeup im 42 i love full coverage foundation i have wrinkles sun spots horrible dark circle wrinkles and some texture under my eyes also some enlarged pores i have very dull skin and i hate when i finish my makeup i have no glow to my skin its sooooo matte can you give me a lineup of start to finish of products you recommend for mature skin im not wanting to break the bank but i do realize on certain products you may have to pay a little more but i love drugstore prices but i m wanting to branchbout from what i usually use cause im not getting the results i want currently i use revlon colorstay foundation its good coverage but makes my skin look dull elf camo concealer it creases or shows my texture the catrucecpowder bronzer i use makes my face look patchy i can never find a contour that looks cool undertone and not orangey setting spray i use is milani make it last and sometime elf dewy coconut it does nothing for glow

I have alternatives for Kayali Pistachio. I am a perfume junkie! Nevertheless, I like prominent scents; this is not a good idea. Olaplex doe not play nice with my hair.

Pistachio please is well known as a dupe for Sol De Janeiro, it doesn't smell anything like Yum Pistachio. If anybody does want a dupe for the Kayali Yum PIstachio, it's Khair Pistachio by Paris Corner.

I remember when you recommended the Revlon Prime Plus as a dupe/alternative to the Hourglass Vanish, which I LOVE, so I ried the Revlon. I did not like the Revlon so I returned it. You recently tried the Covergirl Trublend Skin Enhancer Velvet Blur primer so I went out and bought it. My first time trying it, I thought to myself this is a total dupe for the Hourglass Vanish primer! I really like the Covergirl primer and am surprised you aren’t comparing those two as dupes/alternatives! I personally feel like the Covergirl is closer to the Hourglass than the Revlon primer!
Does the CoverGirl have any micro fine glitter particles?

I had been using Missha Sun Milk spf 50 with the pink Cap in my T-Zone because I get really oily in this area during the summer but I will try the CoverGirl one for sure.

Hi Melissa, l found the Opolex hair repair here, but it's really expensive, for that and the shampoo and conditioner, for each one is 100.00, but l found a better one from Moroccan oil, for the 3 of them, were only 100,00 for the trio, l have been loving these products for 2 months now, and my hair loves it, hugsssss ❤❤❤

The pistachio please is a dupe for the Bum Bum scent not Kayali. Just don’t want people to think it smells like the Kayali.I have both and love them but they’re very different

Hi Jill. It's actually where I'm placing my bronzer. I saw a recent tutorial talk about bronzer placement being where we would normally tan or burn to give a more natural look.
I discovered the NYX Bare With Me serum concealer a couple of years ago. I was in a hurry to get out the door but caught sight of myself in a mirror and needed to hide the darkness and was so impressed!! It looked good upon application, it looked good an hour later and even later. Also I have come upon some really good things I am enjoying. Laura Geller Baked Original Highlighter in French Vanilla, I am very fair. It just gives a glow with no glitter and definitely not high beam. So far I am liking it very much! Have you tried Sephora’s bronzer/contour? It blends in so quickly and easily and I like the tone very much!! Sorry this got so long! Thanks Melissa!!!
