If Formula 1 has taught us one thing it’s that you should never write anything off. Hamilton to Ferrari is just the most recent example of a shock move nobody saw coming (no matter how much some “experts' ' will have you believe they did), while yes it was always a fun thought experiment, nobody really could have seen this move coming especially at the time it happened. The cause of such shocks are typically right under our noses, dissatisfaction with the direction the team is headed, inter-team fallouts and isolation through controversy are just a few of the motives that can cause an earth shattering shakeup in the sport, rendering the silly season more insane than silly. Well, while we still have the straight jackets on following the back end of the winter break, we can’t help but feel there is still more to come with the drivers market, rule changes and politics of Formula 1 all having a part to play. So then, a team in turmoil? Check. A driver in his prime who won’t hesitate to do what's best for his career? Check. All that’s missing now is the match to light the fuse, and it seems that Jos Verstappen may be providing a flamethrower instead.

There's a power struggle going on between Christian Horner and the Nvidia Group, which owns 51% of the team against Red Bull Austria, which BOTH the Verstappens are in league with, who own 49% of the team. Horner made a power play to get himself a sweetheart ownership deal like Toto Wolff has with Mercedes but it seems that has failed and now it's thermo-nuclear war and too soon to tell based on what little we obviously know about, how this is all going to land.
Horner or the Verstappen’s I’ll keep Horner. He did it with Vettel now Max and he will do it again with a different driver.
I read in a newspaper that Jos Verstappen was hitting the same woman as Horner (Die Bild, German newspaper)

With the races potentially being dull and uncontested for the win, the gossip has to be ramped up. No contest isn't good for business.

Hamilton was the same with his dad too, he actually had to ask his dad to step back from being his manager. Anthony Hamilton (Lewis' dad) left as his manager back in 2010. Seems like Max might have to make the same choice. And I am a fan of both drivers for different reasons, so I'm not hating on Hamilton or Verstappen. Their fathers are with them throughout their whole journey, from karting to F4, F3, F2 and even F1. But I agree they need to stop getting in the way

Max Verstappen will not move team if the Red Bull car will stay so good. All media wrt Js Verstappen is not helping though.

Louise is going to Ferrari because the Mercedes is no longer a dominant car and Ferrari is willing to pay him a ton of money to come aboard. This will get him a large cash going away stash but will not improve Ferrari's chances of winning as Louise is a driver on the decline with more ego than skill. If Max leaves Red Bull he will have to try to make a less capable car perform up to his skill and likely no longer be dominant. All of this would be great news for the mid-pack drivers and teams who would have Jos to thank.
