The problem is though that touching the car during a penalty stop before they are allowed to IS another penalty by the rules so the extra penalty was correct regardless of common sense or not...plus it is the fact that Ben Sulayem is accused of personally intervening to get that penalty over thrown which is the issue, not AM appealing.

Damon Hill is trying to destroy F1 by trying to force teams to negotiate short contracts which will undermine team spirit & unity. Dedication should be negotiated & rewarded by mutual agreement without any F1 or FIA interference.

Jos is of no importance, it's not like Max has any other option but to stay at RB if he wants to win another championship because it's already obvious nobody else has a chance to win this year. Sure, some teams will catch up by season end, but it'll be too late for any of them to win the championship. So where would Max go if CH stays at RB, if he wants to win he has no choice but to stay.
I agree with Hill, back in the 80's and 90's it was common place for drivers to swap around at the end of the season, it mixed things up a lot more. Long-term contracts let drivers settle in and get comfy, but perhaps everyone gets a little bit too comfy. It would certainly make winning multiple championships much more difficult, if not impossible, so they'd really need to think that through before making any changes. Plus, moving drivers around more doesn't necessarily mean better racing, back in the 80's/90's McLaren, Ferrari, and Williams held on to Senna, Prost, and Mansell, everyone else was left to fight over the scraps at lesser teams, so they moved around but the same guys kept winning.
I love DR, but I have to say it's hard to disagree that right now he struggles to justify his place in F1, but that is something you could say about quite a few drivers.
Parents should not interfere into their children’s business, always let them build their own future. As parents we can only advise or stand aside. This way both parent-children creates a healthier bond.
As I understand RB didnt build the drone,RB improved the drone build by some independent guys

Teams of drone pilots required for simultaneous coverage of each car. Unlikely a single pilot can concentrate fully for whole race duration. Last thing we need is race stopped due to drone wreckage on the circuit...
@@ThePedroDB You know, we have computers these days that can be used to control the drones to fly a pre-defined path, not above the race track at any point, and follow a car. The most difficult part will be how to deal with all weather conditions. Those drones will lose performances in heavy rain.
@@NexuJin Drones loss of performance in heavy rain is less significant as F1 cars laptime loss on wet track, so this should not be an issue. Issue is of course the safety concerns, which could be solved with extensive testing. Must say the shots's I've seen on RedBull channel were absolutely amazing and I would love to have them in F1 as well - ideally with option to switch between them like we can now switch between car cameras on F1 TV Pro.

Verstappen is a great driver no disputing that, but with all the baggage his entourage bring if I was a team principal it would stop, the team is bigger than any individual and the most important guy at Red Bull is their designer .

Horner in the midst of a power play for control of the F1 team vs the 49% Austrian shareholder, and he's not backing down. Jos Verstappen (IMHO) very much the antagonist here and is tearing the team apart, regardless of how it'll benefit Max or not.

The drone is an awesome camera angle although I’ll tell you, as a drone pilot myself, how many times a battery or key component has failed during a run for me that this is a TERRIBLE IDEA. Just imagine getting all these great shots and then a failure happens that damages a car, hurts a driver or the drive ends up on circuit like a hockey puck ready to be slammed by a car into the crowd. Awesome for promotions and short shoots or different angles for shots but the potential collateral damage risk is simply too high…

Jos AND Max are firmly in the Marko camp and this is the crux, its either Horner goes or The Verstappens go and if Horner goes so does Newey (their contracts overlap and if one goes the other goes).

Horner isnt going anywhere. This whole ongoing BS at Red bull has been in the making since Dietrich passed away. the current leader of Red Bull the drinks company responsible for where the advertising dollars go, which sports are supported etc, has been trying to force his position and power in the vacuum left by Dietrich's passing. Both Horner and Marko have mentioned issues with the "New demands" etc. Under Dietrich both Marko and Honer reported directly to him and for all intents and purposed ran the F1 teams how they choose as long as the results where there. Both resent the interference. Remember middle of last year there was a lot of Talk of issues between Honer and Marko about control of the F1 teams, with rumor being that Horner wanted more control over the F1 section of the Red Bull company. As has come to light Horner has been working behind the scenes to separate the F1 Team as an independent company and not a part of the Drinks business. With Horner having a finical share in that new company and of course at the helm of the newly independent company. As to the driver issues. Simple tell Max your Dad's not welcome, if Max makes problems. Demote him to reserve driver move one of the RB guys into Max's seat and Lawson into the empty RB seat. Make Max attend every race and take the reserve driver role for the rest of the year or until he gets he and his father are not in control of Red Bull F1. Max can spend his time as reserve and continue to support Daddy. Or drive and grow up. Let him move to Mercedes if he want to. I believe Max is worth 2 or 3 tenths no mater what car you plug him into, he is that good, but he is at the end of the day a driver, he is not the team.

First off I do not particularly care for Daniel Ricciardo I noticed that during the last season of drive to survive that I watch because you're losing Sebastian vettel which is one of the best formula 1 drivers of all time and they did not talk about it for a second all they cared about was Danny not having to drive and also I cannot stand Jos verstappen he's the only person who has enough power to stop his son from winning every single race even if the teammates faster
Horner is facing an uphill battle. The toes you step on today, are the asses you kiss tomorrow.
It' s all because Horner wants to have two equal Red Bull cars and thus violates the silent agreement that his son's car is always a little faster.
Not that this makes Horny Horner less guilty of course.
Riccardo is living on a reputation as a driver which has long since left him. Red Bull is wasting time on Riccardo, his prime has passed. He is a celebrity and a funny guy loved by Netflix and DTS. He is stealing money.
I would agree if he was in either of the top 3 team cars and wasn’t finishing well. He’s no better or worse than Yuki and Williams so not sure how you can say he’s stealing money or that would apply to Hamilton Le clerc etc
For checco what’s the point in talking about progress over the weekend? You’re never going to be allowed to be champion by the team, but especially when you’re driving a car 100% designed and built around max none of your input will be implemented over recommendations from max or could impact Max’s ability in the car. I wouldn’t be in the car under those circumstances and restrictions, pointless racing for second place when you know you will never be allowed to win a title and everyone knows it. Where has his pride gone

Having to fast during daylight hours is a major problem. But 'having fun' is a major part of Ramadan, it just occurs after the fast-breaking evening meal - Iftar. Jos like everyone else is entitled to his opinion and can voice it freely when asked. His son
would not be at red bull if he hadn’t got him their. His money influenced and training enable
max to be an f1 driver. His son owes him everything and his influence is massive. If Horner
has been sending hundreds of smutty whats app messages asking for pictures to allow him

The video is worth watching in full with the Drone team. They had to keep avoiding the overhead walking bridge. The Drone was piloted and not a preset flight path
So there is an outside investigation and Horner is cleared, then someone drops "evidence" that can't be verified, so he must go.
