- Multiple sclerosis is a serious nervous system disease that is sometimes, but not always disabling.
Link to the Listing of Impairments for Multiple Sclerosis - it is Section 11.09: www.ssa.gov/disability/profes...
I also discuss little spots seen on MRI or CT scan of patients' brains, which may represent serious disease, but most commonly are harmless. Развлечения
i had a brain stem stroke, the kind where i should have been "locked in". i have severe affects on one side and lighter affects on the other side. i couldn't imagine any type of job i could hold under the conditions i need. i do love your channel. there r many people out here just about drowning trying to get help and you provide clear, specific, information that most people could make use of.
Hi Dr John....
Can you, or are you, able to comment (potentially make a video) on an EXISTING ssd recipient (already approved/already receiving).....and....the "recertification" (maybe there is a different term ssd uses) process?
The ins and outs and-or details of that process??
Thanks very much!!
Appreciate you!!
I'm afraid I don't know much about the topic. From time to time I get someone who is receiving disability and Social Security wants another exam. Usually it's because they've moved from one region to another, or because they were getting SSI as a child and are now an adult. Basically, they want to know if the disabling condition has gotten better, stayed the same, or gotten worse. Unless it's gotten signifcantly better, the disability benefits will continue.
Have you examined someone blind in one eye and low vision in the other?
Yes, but not due to multiple scleosis.
@@DisabilityExams Will you share your experience with low vision Exams?
My vision loss in my left eye is how I found out I had multiple sclerosis
Could you please do a video on Heart Failure? I have Chronic Class C Systolic Heart Failure with a 15/20 EF rate. Thank you
Yes, I plan on doing a video on heart disease, to include heart attack, angina, and heart failure. Social Security's Luisting of Impairments for Heart Failure specifies an EF of 30 or less with symptoms. See section 4.02: www.ssa.gov/disability/professionals/bluebook/4.00-Cardiovascular-Adult.htm#4_02
Thanks for the suggestion
