- Heart disease is a common cause of disability, and tests are important. Social Security may order, and pay for a cardiac stress test and/or echocardiogram, but will not order or pay for a cardiac catheterization.
There is a Listing for heart disease, but it's complex and technical, and you'll probably need your doctor to help you see if you qualify: www.ssa.gov/disability/profes...
The mos common issue I see with disability exam patients is inability to completely and accurately describe their chest pain, and I describe what you need to tell the doctor if you have chest pain. - Развлечения
What is the reason not to mention Congenital heart disease? Curious its certainly a more common today.
Can’t afford an ambulance
Can you please drop a video on SVT, IST and bradycardia? I have all 3
Thank you 😊
You're welcome 😊
Your videos are extremely helpful. Do you have any on vision or macular degeneration?
I'm finding your videos very informative. Thank you. Some videos topics I'd like to see: how does SSA view people with more than one kind of arthritis? Information about applying when you have an autoimmune disease, specifically psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. How does a person's weight affect eligibility determination, if at all?
Psoriasis with psoriatic arthritis can definitely be disabiling, via two mechanisms: 1. an extensive rash can be qualifying, 2. inflammatory arthritis involving multiple joints can be disqualifying. Listing 14.09 covers inflammatory arthritis: www.ssa.gov/disability/professionals/bluebook/14.00-Immune-Adult.htm#14_09 And Listing 8:00 covers skin disorders www.ssa.gov/disability/professionals/bluebook/8.00-Skin-Adult.htm. I've seen some folks with extensive psoriasis with arthritis who were quite disabled.
Is the reason you don’t do a video on congenital heart problems and valve issues because you are not familiar with these issues?
Can you do video on ankle injuries. Or filing for disability as police officer 3/4 pension
Hello Doctor and good day 😊 Can you do a video on really bad shoulders arthritic disease that servely restricts normal movements - with degrees of pain depending on movement, up to the doctor treating recommends replacement, but you can't afford the surgery - does that count against your case - (Ergo, you can get it fixed, but you can't because of circumstances...) in my case left shoulder needs replacement and right shoulder is 65% as bad, but does not warrant replacement - I am right handed.
Question: How bad do your shoulder need to be or do you need both shoulders to be defective get SSD Help?
Thank you good Doctor 😊
Joint and spine problems are the number one issue in disability applications. I'll be doing a video on joint problems in general in the near future. Thanks for the suggestion.
