You pretty much have to have your personal brand and a stack of followers already. Then you can sell ice to the eskimos, as it were. If they like you, they’ll buy into whatever you’re selling. If you already have graphic design and marketing skills and understand demographics and how people *need* to be part of a trend, you’re already half way there. The average person who doesn’t get their “personality” all over TikTok and other platforms, won’t be anywhere near as successful as to sell $800k to $1mil in t-shirts a year!
Yep, I have come to the same conclusion myself. That's why for my project I am starting with trying to build an instagram/Tiktok following first....well, thats the plan. The Insta course I am following along with, the guy built a 40k following in 4 months...so here is hoping I can replicate that sort of success!

You’re literally saying “I know how to make crazy money but I refuse to.” You see lots of people making money from building an online following so why can’t you do the same instead of bitching?
On more of these types of videos they need to swap the word Revenue or Sales into Profits. Because if you make $1M in sales but the business costed you $955K in expenses the viewrs can decide if the hustle is worth $50k or whatever the profit is. Basically, revenue is not profit. Nothing against this guy, just what would be more helpful to would-be entrepreneurs.

Other alternative is you pay for advertising to attract targeted traffic which is costly. 4. Or your setting yourself up to failure. You got to have numbers i.e. followers first. So build that first if you want this to succeed. 5. Make sure you own your list of followers. Maybe lead them to subscribe optin form. Lead them to your website cause if for some reason socioal media shadow bans you for whatever reason or you lose all your content, you will then lose all your followers and have to start again. Having built your email list means you don't start all over again.
How does he get such great margins? My "COST PRICE" for a cheap Gildan 5000 single side printed T-shirt with Printify is $40 CAD ($29 USD) including delivery. No custom tags or anything...just a single print on the front of the shirt. To make even just one dollar or so profit with all the fees and after taxes these basic quality t-shirts would have to sell for nearly $50 CAD/ $36.50USD each..To clear only a dollar or 2! ...Is PRINTFUL that much better than PRINTIFY? Maybe it's just the Canadian Printify partners making it near impossible to profit?
It's possible that printful and printify serves the US market better than other markets. I'm not from there and the costs are difficult to get good margins on
this guy has hundreds of designs in his website, he offsets all his risks by having them take care of literally all of the logistics and no employees, and is running an 8 figure business by himself with 0 overheard, sure he can take on more but he'd be taking on a much more massive workload that will result in more stress to the point of not being worth it, not to mention properly keeping track of such massive inventory would be a nightmare. 30-40% are pretty healthy margins.
Reproducing identical designs without permission is definitely a big issue. It's not just about copying someone's work; it's about respecting the creativity and effort that went into the original design.

Absolutely! There are some fantastic graphic design programs out there that are user-friendly. Have you tried Canva or Adobe Spark? They’re great for beginners!

this is such crap this shit is so hard I've been working my ass off for a couple of years now and still barely sell a few shirts a week and i have a thousands of amazing original designs that are hilarious. it's all luck and advertising that i can't afford. this is not easy and it very expensive to get anywhere and very time consuming to get nothing. i've wasted thousands of dollars and years of my life to be in the hole.

@UpFlip I'm talking about third-party platforms not being happy that their customers are trying to use their platform for asking for reviews. Yep, pressing customers to leave "positive" reviews on some platforms will get you problems. Which some people may not know 🤔

If you listen to what he said, he promoted the design before the site was up and running. Listening is an important tool in all kinds of relationships. He's a good listener. He keeps up with what his customers are saying and even works their ideas into his business. Smart young guy.

But his business has ZERO costs so where's the problem? If you sell $1m and Printful takes $800k how is $200k of no-risk money a problem?
@thefxautopilot I do the same as he does... yes it's 100% passive if u set it up right . He got lucky, been doing this for a year but I make 50 bucks a month... businesses takes time keep that in mind
