My 2nd favorite part of a flight as a passenger is take off, feeling the immense power of the turbofans. 1st is always landing of course. Is it the same with the Pilots, unleashing all that thrust at take off?
It's a freighter, lots and lots of boxes. But you don't want it falling on anything. Besides it's take care of your own pink fanny and everything else is along for the ride.

Buddy - no disrespect to commercial pilots but there general intelligence level is average. Someone with a solid high school education and a shed load of money to pay for the training could be a pilot.
You'd be shitting your pants because you'd have 0 experience of knowing how to fly a plane. Pilots have THOUSANDS of hours of flight time hence why they're not scared anymore.
Yeah, and a lot of times they have to deal with some idiots they are carrying, people with anger issues, idiots that cant hold their liquor and people that dont believe in personal hygiene, lol,my brother and my brother in law are both captains and when i go visit in Florida for Christmas they tell me all kinds of stories, some really funny, some not.

Paula Johnson Very few have military training specifically in the USA. Virtually impossible to get experience flying in military unless you are cream of the crop. Usually they went to flight school and have lots of hours flying.
Paula Johnson Yes, you’re right, loads of ex USAF, MC and USN pilots do go to being airline pilots after a while and they just want to keep flying instead of moving up the ranks to get an officers office job. That in no way manages to catch up to the number of pilots who come from civilian flight school though. Also as ‘MG’ had said, the Military only hires the top people who not only fit the characteristics of a pilot but also as an officer who could become the next General one day. Not quite such a large amount of ex military pilots as you seem to have thought.
Coolest video ever,i have so much respect for the pilots and every one involved. Whenever is a bad flight or landing ppl get all upset...if they only knew the big responsibility behind this guys backs.Respect the pilots.
i always say hello to them and thank you when i get off...so many hours of training, study, preparation and skill go into their jobs it cannot be taken for granted
yeah i wonder too. but yesterday i saw a video where the plane engine damaged the taxi road because of the full throttle i think. that's why they increase the power a bit, let the plane moves at certain speed, then they'll go almost full throttle to take off. such an amazing procedure
My favorite part about the entire flight is the take off! I think it’s so cool how they can get us so fast and so high up in such a short time And that sound the engines make right before the plane goes full speed in takeoff is so familiar to me and it’s always exciting cause I’m like here we go to a new place!
I love hearing and feeling the power of the airplanes Engines rev up as you speed off the runway for take off and the amount of G-Force being placed as the airplane picks up speed and velocity!! Physics at it's finest!! Thank the Pilots and Engineers that make this all happen!!

Im kind of confused, before i went on my 2nd flight i was not interested in planes or any aviation stuff. But after the flight i was happy to be on ground and when i had to fly back to my original country, i for somereason enjoyed it
It’s sometimes good to see how it’s done. They planes have so many back up systems now, it’s unbelievable

Massive respect to all Pilots who fly us safe to our destinations, we must appreciate their hard work❤.
I was a B-747 Captain with Northwest Airlines and flew to many Asia Cities from various US Cities for many years. To addressed the heavy "Responsibility " issue I just told myself this, "If I can get my ass safely to our destination, everything behind it should be just fine !
My 2nd favorite part of a flight as a passenger is take off, feeling the immense power of the turbofans. 1st is always landing of course. Is it the same with the Pilots, unleashing all that thrust at take off?

Then you shouldn’t drive for lyft.
Apparently this is a cargo plane. They could still squash 300 people.

Atleast they can’t see the pilots😛
What a stressful job. Props to these guys. Tons of controls they have to deal with and 100+ people rely on them
It's a freighter, lots and lots of boxes. But you don't want it falling on anything. Besides it's take care of your own pink fanny and everything else is along for the ride.
When I was a kid about 55 years ago, my dad took us to the airport on a regular basis just to watch the planes take off and land. That's what we did for fun. I will never forget those days
Bro that's dope , my ogs would do tht for me when I was a kid and crazy thing is tht it was 12 years ago , I'm only 22 years old , we have a big age difference but awesome we love airplanes

Kudos to pilots from all parts of the globe. You bear great responsibility in safe travel and remain so calm and collected, brilliant!
Agreed! Pilots are my heroes!
Pilots are highly inteligent and It's in their interest to have a safe flight as well as the passengers! My mates a pilot and he's far happier flying than driving as the roads are full of idiots but the sky isn't.
That's why high speed rail is needed in America.
no... the sky is really full of idiots. Granted not as many but their are definitely idiots out there flying. Trust me if you've ever flown enough you'll realize the idiots everywhere even in the cockpit.
Buddy - no disrespect to commercial pilots but there general intelligence level is average. Someone with a solid high school education and a shed load of money to pay for the training could be a pilot.

The discipline is as impressive as the team work. So much respect to all pilots!❤️
I literally get panic attacks when flying, I hate it with a passion. Anytime I sit on a plane, I see my whole life flash before me. I cannot imagine doing this job, the amount of confidence one has to have is admirable. Mothers, Pilots and Doctors are the REAL heroes in this world.
Me too, I have a panic attack the entire time and think I'm going to die.

It's so cool to watch as a 747 takes off into the sky. As passengers, we only know that a flight takes us to where we need to go. What we don't see is all the skill and training captains and first officers go through to be licensed to fly. Respect to pilots all over the world!!
It doesn't get much better than a 747...being a pilot has to be in my top 10 coolest jobs ever... hopefully I get my wings someday..these guys and all pilots i know have to have a moment where they think to themselves "it doesn't get much better than this"...weve come so far in such a short amount of time..its a trip to realize these amazing machines didn't even exist before the 20th century and i know if u bought someone from lets say the 17th century to the 21st they'd lose their minds seeing a plane fly..i don't know a world without planes and i still lose my mind
I love how cool pilots always seems....
because it might be their 200th flight... I don't think a pilot in his 30s would be that calm
Paula Johnson Very few have military training specifically in the USA. Virtually impossible to get experience flying in military unless you are cream of the crop. Usually they went to flight school and have lots of hours flying.
LOL! It's a trip how calm and cool they are when they're talking too.
MG pretty much. Met this girl graduated from west point she was still going to flight school
Coolest video ever,i have so much respect for the pilots and every one involved. Whenever is a bad flight or landing ppl get all upset...if they only knew the big responsibility behind this guys backs.Respect the pilots.

Could you imagine the RUSH when they go full throttle and those turbine engines kick in?...WoW
yeah i wonder too. but yesterday i saw a video where the plane engine damaged the taxi road because of the full throttle i think. that's why they increase the power a bit, let the plane moves at certain speed, then they'll go almost full throttle to take off. such an amazing procedure
My favorite part about the entire flight is the take off! I think it’s so cool how they can get us so fast and so high up in such a short time
And that sound the engines make right before the plane goes full speed in takeoff is so familiar to me and it’s always exciting cause I’m like here we go to a new place!
I want to be a pilot since I was 5 years old and I really appreciate them
I love hearing and feeling the power of the airplanes Engines rev up as you speed off the runway for take off and the amount of G-Force being placed as the airplane picks up speed and velocity!! Physics at it's finest!! Thank the Pilots and Engineers that make this all happen!!
I always said to do that for a living you have to be little crazy I am terrified of flying and heights....hats off to all the captains getting us places safe
Not crazy lol, pilots are actually some of the strongest (mentally) and rational people, otherwise they don't get the job, no matter how talented... You just have to not be afraid of heights, a lot of regular people aren't
