The physical copies go up for preorder today. I'm ordering it for switch, ps5 and xbox series x. There's also a collector's edition for anyone who might be interested. I'm just getting the standards. All on LRG.

Too many to count (every time the music takes the spotlight are top contenders for me), but I'd say probably the rooftop chase. That close call saved by Double H will never stop being one of gaming's most epic moments.

Everything was awesome in this game. The game itself, the minigames, the tone, everything ❤

not even joking. the first time i ever played this game I actually went to a nearby record exchange and bought a disk that showed "narnia" on the top. eager to try it, i brought it home with my dad and we found out that the game was actually beyond good and evil. we played it together and wow, it remains one of my favorite games of all time. with the 20th anniversary edition just coming out, it brings me back to my childhood and the memories i had with my dad
literally when pey'j was taken by the alpha sections in the factory, i remember crying for so long as a kid because i was so invested into the game! such a masterpiece; should be played by all

Thanks for sharing your story. BG&E is remembered fondly after 20+ years and rightly so.

Freelancer was a decent enough game that I found way after the fact. You can still pick these gems out from the dust and enjoy.

Clash: Artifacts of Chaos is a pretty recent release that may feel like something from the BG&E console era. Prequel to the Zeno Clash games. Can warmly recommend it.

If BG&E 2 would aim for a more cartoonish visual style like the originall maybe it would have been released by now. Nowadays making AAA games takes forever with the current standard of hyper realism and open worlds.

I agree with you on that. Definitely higher standards are pushing these games slowly out.
