I saw this brilliant man in Toronto, and talked to him after hearing beautiful talent. He is a very humble, genuine, and down to earth man. His parents have raised a beautiful and talented soul... thank you Tim 👍
Congratulations! (Although they call it "virtuoso" to accomplish this,) the truth is that lots of blood, sweat and tears over a long period of time is needed to be this skillfull.
@@mediocre-violinist- I’m not surprised you thought that way, if you really call yourself a “mediocre-violinist” then just wait. Your ears will develop and then you will see she really is da onr☝️
@@sappclobyt1331 oh you have me all wrong, hilary has some of the most cleanest playing ever. You are the one who doesnt understand my point. all the original comment is trying ti do is praise the amazing violinist in the short but you really just had to compare him ti hilary hahn, why just why. Clean is clean. His playing was clean, so what hilarys is cleaner, his is still cleaner than alot of musicians. when you become more a developed individual youll understand a bit more in depth with what im talking about
(I must have been living under a rock) I just came across your channel and am now your fan!!! Your playing is sparkling clean and so vibrant, love it! Tchaik can sound laborious when played by mere humans but this is A+++++++ Watching this on loop, but am not getting sick of it at all.. BTW I am not religious but *pray* that you have not suffered hearing loss through playing this concerto....
I do jr orchestra and my teacher said to me (I have two teachers) “would you want to play a song with your cellists friend Vivian” and I agreed so I pick Tchaikovsky and my teacher said it’s fine but it takes many tries. Vivian agreed but said it’s to hard so we tried it first try not bad but until 10th try we did it perfectly and I know there’s no duet of Tchaikovsky with cello and violin but me and Vivian tried hard to make it a duet and switched music side to side. You see, Vivian has been playing cello since preschool and I’ve been doing violin since kindergarten and we’ve improved so much so it was time for something hard and when it was the day we had to do it by ourselves a duet I have a German violin i thought is would make it better since Germans are good violins very good. And it went perfectly and we are only in 5th grade for such hard song with 3rd position. I am in non-beginner orchestra (don’t know what to call it) and the beginners in beginner orchestra played twinkle twinkle little star and when they saw me and Vivian, my teacher told me that they fainted when they saw me. I’m so glad that I can do these hard impossible songs and I am proud.😊
But thebest part of Concert for fiddle and Orchestra , is just after of this , more precise when begins the Orchestra complete with the part more famous of this masterpiece of Tschaikowsky.
I love yor thenar muscles of your left hand (idk if it's correct name tho) I'm shre as hell they make your performance such espressivo even if in fast passages
That’s very good, but I disagree. I believe the best part of his concerto comes right after this part, once the orchestra is finished playing their bit, and the soloist comes back in (around minute 8:22 of the video you posted in the pinned comment). I think it’s a very melodic part in a very serious section of the piece. I like it so much, in fact, that I made it my ringtone.
The least polished version I heard - I mean more "crunch" and less "silk". Which also in this passage makes it very emotional, which I like. Ironically my favourite interpreter of this (Szeryng) plays it with lots of silk, but still manages to put emotions in it. Two very different styles indeed!

Love it, man. Thank you for dedicating yourself to such an amazing and essential craft. One of my favorite pieces. 👌❤️❤️❤️❤️
My ears are blessed thank you!
My guy's playing is so clear that the camera had to do nerf him and blur the video 💀
For real tho the clarity is like swimming in a clear lake bruh
Honestly, just no. If u want pure clarity go listen to Hilary’s official recording😹.
No hate to this guy tho

Are you a left handed violinist?
Why?
anyone notice the muscle between his thumb and pointing finger?
Some day I'll be able to play as good as you.
