to be honest, his English was limited due to the poor learning condition during the Vietnam war. but he did an amazing job on promoting peace. His talks in Vietnamese language are profound and not easy to understand if you lack the real practice. It's better if the talks were to translate to English now but it's not yet to occur. I live near his birth place in Vietnam and am very happy to know that your channel recognized it and to share more about his works.

I was a direct student of Thây for many years, staying at Plum Village a couple of times each year for years, often with my children. His English was more than sufficient, as was his French. He was born in 1926, and educated in Vietnamese, Chinese and French. English came later but none of this was influenced by the war. We learned so much from him. He was always clear and was a powerful teacher🙏🏻

I’m amazed that someone would criticize his English knowing that it was his second language I personally absolutely had no problems understanding what he was saying

He lived in the mine of the Creator here for our benefit, even before his awakening at Columbia he was all service. Were immeasurably better off.

A friend of mine who had nothing to do with the Buddhist community and was a common western mind believing in Mormonism told me he wanted to be happy so he chose it. He realized it was a personal choice and not something given to him by religion.
He realized he could make it a choice which I was struck by. His insight was profound to me and I could see the truth in it. Lots of folks seemingly asleep as we understand persona as asleep and seeing the spaceless spot within us as awake are a lot more conscious than we may realize. It appears democracy is waking up and if you know anything about democracy you know it's all about you (aka the people's will). What kind of a world do you want to create? Democracy has this thing called the citizen that makes us one in the mind. Democracy forms a more perfect Union of mind as it's stated will don't you think?

I understand Tich Nhat Hanh, but he never reached the realization. And his ways are more Westernized. Nevertheless, he influenced and sincerely touched many people's lives. Chanell is great, thank you, and keep on doing the good work
