What do you think is better for low income renters that lives on low income and disability money and why? I'm a mentally challenged child free single man. I'm a low income renter that lives on low income and disability money. I want to move from my one bedroom duplex apartment to my first low cost bachelor house in a few years from now. I want to know more this stuff before I move in the future as a single man.
Like everything else, plan and prepare for your goals. Its too early to tell what to do and how to go about it when you don't know what you're working with yet. I'm also sure there are assistance programs that you qualify for to help with your project.
I would like to have a concrete patio and fire pit. What questions should I ask a contractor when getting quotes? Good information, but it was a little hard to hear you. Thanks for the info.
Thanks for the feedback. We are always trying to improve quality so we will look at the sound. Finding a good Mason for your concrete patio is top priority. Find someone who does plenty of flat work. Also, consider papers. Depending where you live they can last longer and be easier to install.
@@CurlyChemist hahah...yes, fat finger on small phone syndrome. Depending on where you live Pavers may offer a better long term solution over concrete. All the paver companies have fire pit kits so there is a seamless solution. When your getting quotes, be sure to request detail about the preparation. A good base to build on is your highest priority for a long lasting patio.
I am surprised to hear you say that as I would think that concrete in your climate would suffer from deep frost heaving without proper precautions. We have a significant freeze/thaw/freeze cycle for a few months which can be a death sentence for concrete slabs. There is also the need to have clients use the correct anti-icing compounds to avoid spalding etc.

A patio will be less maintenance than a real wood deck, thus less $$$.

Asking for a permit can increase your property tax assessment.
Where is this guy? A basement? I keep expecting to see a girl tied up in the corner. Good information but weird visuals.
Hahahaa....it is a basement and was meant to be visually interesting. Guess it didn't work....we will keep trying
Maybe a video about dark basements comes next???
Word is, he is still locked in that basement
Volume needs to be louder
Stamped concrete is much better. They're cheaper, no maintenance, and lasts 100 years vs 20.

Always build a patio and cover it. otherwise you are a fool and it cost the same as a deck you chumps
