@JJFinalZero I got mine along with a wax iron from Dakine super tune kit. Swix also makes a great file with chrome lining that stays sharp much longer. If you go to home depot try to find a file that has diagonal lines, try to stay away from files with lines coming from both sides that form diamonds. What I have found is that the Dakine file does stay sharp longer. Hope this helps.
@cjcollas She's like a veteran. At some point every onion just becomes another notch on her snowboard. But though she leaves the kitchen, the kitchen will never leave her.
@snowprofessor so dumb question then...just got a new board and it's 80% flat and rockered 10% at each end...so pretty much the whole board is contacted with the ground. Should I still aim for those points?
what kind of metal file did you use? I live in Los Angeles and I went to home depot and they have no clue what kind of metal file to use for snowboard.
12 years later still very informative thanks for posting!
Thanks for the tip!
Your board has bindings! Sweet!
well...it told me what i needed to know. b-roll material baby!!!

My board is V-rocker so the contact point is in the middle when you lay it on the ground
O.O well that sucks. used to have a board like that, the tips smushed out from just setting the board down.

why would you detune the nose and tail? that part of the board doesnt even touch the snow
mama know's best :)))))))))))
this guy sure likes pink.
detuning fouls up the handling characteristics of a board.
Because i have a diamond stone in my back pocket...
forgetting something? ya, a helmet...
all these kitchen jokes and no one notices she doesn't know how to use a knife...
It's kind of stupid to detune the contact points. they're the most important part of the edge! without them you'd wash out the whole time
That's because they don't know how to use one either.
dont like the video, dont watch it. why say nasty things anyway
