Hats off to iGPSport for their first entry into the flagship market of GPS computers. Large display, touch screen, very customizable pages, and impressive battery life. Both the user interface and mobile app could use some firmware updates, but you get a very comprehensive set of features for the price point.
My first bike computer I bought in 2019 was a iGPSPORT. For the price it was a good computer. The only thing I didn't like with mine was I needed to connect it to my computer to upload my data into software program or Strava. Having the bike computer saved my phone battery since the GPS would kill it on long rides.
I am not sure if it’s been asked- on the igs600 and I think ,”s” models the big complaint was while doing a interval ride outside, if you hit pause, it paused your entire ride. Is this true with the igs800? I like to have the ability to pause the workout to recover longer but still coast or light pedal without the ride being paused. Gracias 🙏🏽
Howdy doody! I will need to test it out, since I don't do outdoor intervals. Overall this unit's Achilles heel is the software user experience. The majority of this can be fixed with firmware, and I hope iGPSport is paying attention.
not only is it weird to navigate to find a course to load mid-ride on IGS devices but there is also a known issue that makes the whole thing reboot without saving your ride. not fun
Nice feature set for the price, but still cant come close to Lezyne for basic GPS functionality. (And lezyne is half the price even for their flagship model 😂)
@@PatrickLino dual band gps, 48hrs battery life, metal tabs, navigation and rerouting (bridged from the smartphone app). But the biggest thing I like is the non-colour, non-touchscreen display. All for $200. I personally got the bundle for $250 that included their Bluetooth smart light.
For the features and functionality I need on a daily basis, it is a fantastic device. If I were riding on holiday in another city, I would take my Wahoo Bolt v2. At least until iGPSport can tweak the software.

I've been using this CPU for a month now and have no complaints. The battery is awesome and the screen is great
For everyday use, screen size, and battery life, it's fantastic. I'm sure over time iGPSport will make firmware updates.

Yeah a lot has changed in 5 years LoL
Only Garmin x40 series, 1050 and the Karoo have the climbs in freeride mode. Every other device needs a preloaded track for climbs.
@@ZotmundSzele Thank yoooou!
I think wahoo have the freeclimb ones?
@@fikriilhamfadhillah4467 Not sure but probably.
wahoo has it too , both on roam and bolt v2
@@kristiantenerife I confirmed yesterday the Wahoo Bolt v2 does the climb feature in free rode mode.

We making it out the hood with this one!
Is there a pre-applied screen protector?
Yup
I use igps630i I think it has all I would ever need😊
@@pskonejott2568 the battery life on the 630 is INCREDIBLE. I did a 150 mile (240km) ride and the battery life was still at 75%.
After updating to the latest version v1.20, does route recalculation after deviating from the course and navigation to a saved location work?
Yup as far as I can tell...

My Lezyne Mega XL is going strong after 5yrs. Great battery life. All the info I need and a screen large enough to see with my aging eyes.
Mark percentage of battery and sprockets you have from sram etap axs?

Thank you, in the video you comment on it?

any idea to auto upload igpsport to garmin connect,
Looks like Strava, Training Peaks, Komoot, and Apple Health are available to connect for 3rd party apps.
Will it work below 40 degrees? 😅
Love my 600 series fyi
LoL I have no way of testing that where I live 🤣
I want my Garmin software in that hardware. Then I’m sold. Large screen. Slender body. Screen looks crisp. Software… no thanks.
