Good review. I'm riding for about 4 or 5 years an older IGS50E bike computer (without navigation) and that without any problems. I can really recommend this Chinese Brand.
Excellent computer, with regular updates that make a good thing even better. Does everything that the big gun names do, at half the price (or better!) and the smaller, lighter size is a bonus: not everybody wants a weighty, expensive clunk of eye candy sticking out on the handlebars inviting opportunistic theft. The companion iGSPORT Ride app is equally very satisfying and easy to use with details insight into post-ride metrics. I bought my first iGPSPORT computer at the beginning of 2022. I now have three - the 'baby' iGS620, iGS630S (on MTB) and the flagship Garmin-killer iGS800 (on GIANT TCR 0-AR). Couldn't be happier. 🚴
Great review. I have been eyeing this for a while but very limited reviews so far. Do you know if the screens can be controlled from Shimano Di2? The Garmin 1040 can be purchased now for about 25-30% more but that iGPSport igs800 screen size is perfect. Thanks
I won't tell that the price is reasonable and "Mid-Range". For just 40eur more you can got hammerhead and garmin 840. For the features and quality it provides the price should be at least 100eur less.
I don't know. It's not mentioned in the manual or the specs on the iGPSport website, but it does mention one on this product screen for a retailer and you'd think they'd have got it from somewhere (hopefully not copy-pasted from an Edge description...): www.360cycling.co.uk/product-page/igs800-bike-computer?srsltid=AfmBOoomf2-SxAvOGRE7peAoEXZln5nMa51OD57UjiaRsdBTgQ3g4BM2
Do you know if it works with the "hidden" buttons on Shimano Di2? Brightness of screen - looks clearer than my 1030 - is that fair or due to lightning? Nice review!
I'd say it is clearer than the 1030 Plus - it has more pixels in both axes. For the videos I do tend to keep screen brightness high for visibility, but in general use I'm happy with the visibility when it's set to Auto. The website does say it's compatible with Di2 but I don't know the extent of the integration as I don't have electronic gears... (sadly).
I had the igs 630, and it let you configure D-Fly similar Garmin. I don't remember if all the functions/options were the same, but it had all the functions that most people want: Flip the screens, start/stop/lap, single press/double tap, long press...etc. So I assume this has at least the same if not more. Sadly it got stolen, and then "somebody" said it was A Gamin 1040 on the insurance form 🤫.
@@Sportivecyclist It was you who adviced viewers on your channel to buy an Garmin 840 Amazon, even with an affiliate link. But i do like you review multiple brands and types of bike computers.
I had a Garmin Edge 520, then a Wahoo Bolt and now the IGS800. I have absolutely no regrets. It suits my need perfectly and is half the price of the Garmin 1050, yet the IGS800 has the same size screen in a smaller, lighter body with better battery life.
I just love this chanel , make all my buys on your recomendations! and the video is top notch as always for the vieuwing exp
Buen video , buenas conclusiones sobre el dispositivo. Enhorabuena por la forma y el tono simpatico de dar la informacion !!!!. Thanks

Good review. Thankyou.
Hello , thanks for the review . Does this computer work with the Garmin varia ?
Hi there. Yes it does
Interesting bike computer.
I am using Bryton for years and it seems this is my next logical choice.
How you managed to get this one for free?
Nice one
Hi, Do you plan to do a Garmin Edge 1050 review?

ciao la pagina del Climb mi sembra che i dati in alto sono un po piccoli,si puo'modificare?
Has the IGS800 a magnetometer sensor, like the Garmin Edge ?

Hello, does the computer have live segments?
No, I don't think so. Only the ability to sync routes and activities with Strava.
Is there a pre-applied screen protector?
Sold

Touch screen is very bad during raining. Usually I will disable the touch screen during rain.
Wow that's expensive for mid tier. 8 inch android tablet cost $200!
Im the 200 like..spank a penny
Having this, will aways mean you regret you don't have a real garmin.
non, je ne regrette rien

No. Don’t have to spend a ton of money to get the same! Sometimes more expensive isn’t better.
@@mj9325 "The same" 💀
