I'm using the other model igs618 which mainly for tracking route and cadence monitoring. All in all it is performing good when it works, my gripe on this device is the long GPS syncing before the ride and finalizing data after the ride. The other minor flaw is the computer holder clamp to the handbar is weak when you ride on a bumpy road. These budget series are good for the casual rider like me, but it is still lacking in many area for pro rider. Good review.
Thanks for the in-depth review! I am comparing this IGPsport BSC100S with the Coospo BC107 and I was wondering which computer you think is best. Thank you in advance.
Thanks for the confirmation about elevation measurement being off on this computer. Although, I kind of liked seeing my elevation grade being 7% or 8% when I thought it was tough hill, but in reality, it was probably more like 4% - 5%. : )

I am having trouble setting up my SPD61 speed sensor , could you or someone have a step by step way of setting this sensor up? I cannot find any videos on it. Best Regards.
I got the impression from your excellent review that one could program the heart rate zone numbers. For example zone 1, 101-110 , zone 2, 110-119, and so on. Am I correct. It's interesting that the app shows this, but can I program my personal zone numbers? Input from any & all presently using the IGSport BSC100S is much appreciated.

❤ A" very nice, detailed and unbiased tutorial-review. Thanks. Wonder if I can ask you a few questions before I buy: 1. I already have a generic 'phone mount' on my bike. Would using the 'original mount of BSC100S' still be necessary, if I use my own mount? 2. Can it upload data to 'Google Fit' or to 'Samsung Health', other than Strava? 3. If I cannot upload data to 'Google Fit' or to 'Samsung Health', would I still need Bluetooth connectivity with my phone? My thanks in advance 😊
Thank you! 1. It uses garmin mount, if you have an adapter for that you do not need their mount 2. Unfortunately you will not be able to do so 3. You only need it when you want to sync the recorded data on the bike computer Hope we have answered them even though it was kind of late
You can synchronize Samsung Health can with Strava, so a while after synchronization cycle computer with iGpSportApp training data are visible in Samsung Health.
Its a tough one. We strongly recommend you to check on our magene c406 review. We felt that both have their pros and cons, ultimately it depends on which one suit you more.
I find IGPSPORT more suitable for myself. But do the Sensors from XOSS like XOSS VORTEX, give accurate results with this GPS? Or we should use same brand sensors?
@@nanowiser6177 It's a great choice regardless of which bike computer you choose. Not too sure about Mi Smartwatch, but I believe you can't pair it with bike computer. Xoss sensors does work with IGPSport bike computer.
I feel best for me would be - IGPSPORT BSC100S Computer XOSS VORTEX Speed/Candence Sensor XOSS Chest HEART RATE SENSOR Though this is good on budget. Will it work? What's your take? Or should I get IGPSPORT Sensors only?
Most of the time it does not post the rides on Strava or it puts them incorrectly. One of my rides was listed as 33 thousand km. Don't waste your money.
I have this and it suits my outdoor cycling needs. The main qualm I have is the page customization. It's weird how each frame is preset to only have a choice of certain metrics. I can't have cadence and time on the same page, for example, because they are limited to the same customization space. Yet I can have a blank space on the same page but no choice to fill that blank with anything other than Elevation and Distance (which are already options in other spaces). You'd think they could fix this with a firmware update that allows any and all metrics to be used in any of the four spaces below the top one. I'm not hyperfocused on metrics when I'm outdoors, but this wonky and limiting customization just feels like an oversight. Not complaining though, since I can always look at the exported data after in totality or on another page. For $40 CAD with a mount it is great value.
I was wondering, with page customization, is it possible to show current GPS speed and average speed at the same time? I assumed it would be, but now I am worried after I have ordered it.
@@buttlesschap not sure if I follow. I can configure page 1 to show both current and average speed, and it'll stay there (not switch to another screen) during a ride?
@@ucdcrush Yes you can. You have 4 pages with 5 frames each to fill/customize. Each frame can show a number of different metrics. Some can be used in many different frames, some (like cadence and time) are only fixed to particular 1 frame (e.g only top right frame on every page). So if you're missing a metric on page 1, you can always have it on pages 2-4. Page 1 is the default/home page. You have to manually tab to another page (using the device button) for it to switch pages. It will only automatically switch back to page 1 with the setting enabled. So don't worry about it tabbing to another page without your own input. I personally have all the live metrics on page 1, averages and ride time on page 2.

It seems like many entry level bike computers are facing this issue. Pretty sure they are using other map system or just software issue.

Is it possible to display current speed and average speed on the same screen at the same time?
Yes it is, you can customize it via the phone app.

Can you import Strava Route files, like GPX or TCX?

Can you connect your smart watch or i dnt know.
You need an ANT+ heart rate sensor then either link it to the computer in the app or from the computer itself .
Bluetooth too
