Timeless. Severely underrated band. Songs hit my soul.
This is so good but you must hear “Whispering Wolf” or “The Wave Acoustic” by SLT 🤘🐺🎶
Same here
I do but must b financially assistance
Listening still in (2020, 2021, 2022, 2023…) 2024- who's here with me?

Love this song. This song will never get old.

Me, 😂😅😮Top tune!!
Me, February 16, '24
I am and always will!! Fuel will always be my ALL TIME FAVORITE band!! Got to see them in concert in 2019 with Brett on vocals and his band, not the original members but seeing him in concert was #1 on my bucket list so I can die happy now! LOL
I'm here!!!!!
@@shawnbaker4225Have you listened to any new good rock bands lately?
I go back to Fuel’s songs over and over during my struggles….here’s to Fuel and all of you out there who feel the same 🎸🙏
Damn me 2
Late 80s and 90s alt knew how to put us in our feels. Best of the best ❤
You're not alone.... at least I tell myself that everyday. Keep going. This is all for something.
😢😢😢😢😢 amen.
They are like my Papa Roach, Evans Blue, 10 Years, Shinedown of bands that aren't exactly those bands.
listen to this often I am an old man and I love all My struggles because Jesus Christ has my heart 🙏 and God has my soul
Keep the faith, brother. Jesus is the only way out of this darkness.
CHRIST IS KING
Glória a Deus
Amen
I wish he was still the singer. His presence and voice was what made fuel stick in your head.
Agree, so underrated. No one has a voice like this in 2023. Great song writing as well. There really isn't good Rock Music anymore
Brett, you will always be the man!! Your voice that changed the world!!! Signed your greatest fan!!!
yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That's a lie!!! I'm theirbiggestfan!!!!
Reminiscing, I forgot how much I loved, and still love Fuel. With THIS frontman.
Miss this band with their original lead. 37 in 22 and still hitting the repeat like I just opened the cd. That's right, cd, kids.
Cd..yes. Good times.😊
Anti skip protection for the win! Where’s my base boost for this song? :)
I tell you, Brett is such a beautiful person. Such a cool dude. ❤️ ❤️
good for you, i'd love to have Natural Selection
I still have cassettes
Most underrated band of its time.
Agree wholeheartedly ❤
Not for me! The best alternative band EVER.
To radio, their career encompasses "Shimmer" and "Hemmorage" and stops there. .
Sad actually.
They didn't have much music
The best years of everyone's life. Back when music was talent and lyrics meant life and living.
the music from 19 to 25 for me. i was lucky to appreciate it at the time unlike being late to the party for all the other good stuff.

Dammit, I just wrote the same thing....only different. Best time ever to be alive and young and talented and LIVE, truly LIVE YOUR LIFE , with a constant soundtrack of this kinda stuff cleaning all the hair metal worms out of us. We need the new stuff not be designed to sell for 99 cents.
A good band, a bunch of friends, hanging out, having fun in the studio. Can click like that, and put out a hell of an album. God I wish I could go back to these days. Where did the time go....Fuel, Live, Default, Tonic, Incubus, the list goes on. Feeling some serious nostalgia listening to this. If I could go back in time, it would be mid-late 90's for sure. If not just for the music. I was in a band once, we put together a 6 track demo in a barn in southern Wisconsin. We clicked like this. It was probably the best weekend I've ever had in my life. I totally support local bands that start out being just a handful of friends that can put life to music. We need more of it.
Agreed, every one you mentioned excellent. Was a good era for music.
Stabbing Westward was another great band from that time, Filter also.
Jason Dorrington - you named some seriously good bands . I'm confused sometimes - is all of this good rock music still being worked on , just behind the scenes ?
Or earlier. DREAMTHEATRE
Jason Dorrington you should check out my buddies band called Valley Soul, they're from Carmel Valley CA and are completely out of this world. Incredible shit. Each song has a different sound because the whole band takes turn writing. If you aren't impressed then I'll stop promoting all together
Falls On Me is without a doubt one of my favourite songs of all glorious time. It celebrates the beauty of love in such a pure and heavenly way that it makes you wanna surrender to its glory. Brett’s insane godly, masterful vocals and the depth of heavenly passion boiling inside him is so compellingly rich, real and raw. It hits so incredibly deep like a storm you didn’t know you needed, that it’s all consuming and enlightening in the best way possible. Rock legends forever xx❤️🔥
Beautifully put!! It is and always will be my all time favorite song!
Music is therapy. This song never gets old.

This is too sweet! ❤️❤️
Roll that always
This song really helped me through a very dark period of my life. Thank you fuel and happy 2024 to everyone 🎉🎉
I'm 35 now and feeling old. This song and other 90s and early 2000 songs make me feel really nostalgic.

I LOVE THIS!!! FUEL honestly should have been bigger than they were back in the day!!!
They came out in a bad time..just when the glory days of 90's rock was coming to an end..i miss those days
that's true he said my favorite singer
and I love this song
Lori Beth Kerns I totally agree with you..
Lori Beth Kerns
I wish this alt rock music would come back to the radio.
***** Sadly, where I live they don't air this music like they used to. Lucky you, seen them on tour and everything!
Teraprinny Jew owned radio stations like to play rap, hip hop and pop. rock is to white for their liberal cultural Marxist agenda
Because that totally makes sense right there XD
Like wtf...plenty of rock's subgenres (punk being a very notable one) is all about calling out the government...and punk bands are *especially* loud when a Republican is in office (American Idiot, anyone?)
very true ,fuckers....
We have the Marta.
This was my all time favorite song when I was 12. I'm 30 now and I'd never thought I'd be making one of these comments lmao, but Fuel by far has to be one of the greatest bands from the early 2000's to me!! This song still gives me that same feeling
Praise YEHOVAH ❤️🌈🙏🙏 I use this song to worship God.
Oh my goodness I LOVED this song. I do miss hearing stuff like this on the radio
+guitargeekette grand junction colorado's kknn plays it.
+guitargeekette Take this as compliment please. That pic of you is a beauty..
fuel top hits
Motley crue
When the few local stations (In Pennsylvania) play Fuel it is ALWAYS "Glimmer", and occasionally "Hemorrhage". That is their whole career on radio here. I'm sick of Glimmer. So it got used on "Charmed". Wow. Can we forget that now?
That is the total sum of their career to a lot of people. But Justin Bieber has over a billion views on YouBoob!
What a song! Just hits you in the chest with its power and emotions provoked. Why doesn't music like this exist anymore? It's such a shame rock and roll, alternative, etc., music doesn't exist anymore. Truly a tragedy, considering such a masterpiece as is this song.
you should listen to the new song "my name is human".
I was going to suggest Highly Suspect myself. Lydia, Bath Salts, Wolf
This sort of music gets you through the time tough times (e.g. teenhood!) -- What do the 2000's kids have to get them through adolescence? Nicki and Justin? NOPE.

I'm 44 and I was about 24 25 when this song came out. A lot was going on in my life then lost a best friend in a drowning a girlfriend killed on a wreck about 2 minutes after I talked to her etc. I still listen to this today and I now preach God word. Beautiful song Awsome group.
I'm sorry to hear that Michael. Love you brother and hope you remain looking at the light
Were you thinking about His awesome power? 😮
I am so sorry for your losses hun. I agree this is a beautiful song and I would love for someone to feel this way about me. One day.

This is the music that brought meaning to the last of generation that still understands respect, morals and integrity!
Brett Scallions and Carl Bell were rock genius.
agreed! Carl Bell could write the hell out of a song!
Carl Bell is Fuel. Geez have you ever heard the stories from Behind the Music and all their hits?! It’s all from the heart.
@@bbg515011 Carl is the soul of the band, but Brett is still the voice. It friggin kills me that they can't get back on the same page, because that version of Fuel was so incredible! Nobody has their sound. I still play their albums regularly, but only the ones that have both Carl and Brett.
I miss old Fuel so much. Love this band
I just saw them two days ago live. They are the same old Fuel as always, my friend. This band will always be great.
@@Heia57 I disagree. As long as Carl and Brett aren't working together Fuel will suck. The magic is gone when either is absent. The songwriting has suffered significantly since Carl's departure from the band. The 2014 Fuel release was terrible and disappointing for me. Their new material has a totally different flavor and I don't mean it in a good way. The Fuel we knew and loved is no longer because Carl Bell isn't around to do the songwriting.
To me FUEL is a beautiful blend of grunge punk rock mainstream rock and roll and Metal one of my favorite bands of all time it just so happened that they were coming out when that type of music was starting to fade away ...........Aaahhh to feel young again in 2020
It's sad man. I miss it so much. And you are 100% correct that they came out at a bad time, when alt rock was dying, and you have to believe it hurt the band and created a lot of their personal issues. They did that early 2,000's alt rock sound just as good as anyone. Should've got as big as Linkin Park.
Agree 👍
SAW FUEL , 3 DOORS DOWN , AND NICKLEBACK FOR $10 in the Huntridge Theatre in vegas .......FUEL STOLE THE SHOW
Jealous. lol. Really, though, good for you!
I saw them in 2001 at the State Theatre in Detroit with Sevendust and Nonpoint I was 18. What a concert we were front row. They sound exactly like they do in these videos. No fake surround sound or voice altering like most of today’s music.
This is and always will be my favorite song of all time, by any band. I wish Brett and Carl would bury the hatchet and bring back the REAL Fuel.
"And your beautiful sky and the light you bring" is such a cool lyric.
Poetic and romantic. It's a nice touch!
The Band will always remember shooting this Video because it’s clear they were having fun putting the song together. Absolute gem! You didn’t see much of this anymore.
Most underrated band of the past 30 years
The lyrics and melody of this hits so hard, In so many way’s! Honestly I appreciate the words and meaning of this song more in my 40’s then I did in my teens! 🔥💯
Ever wonder where a lost love/relationship partner is now? This song makes me think of a certain someone, I always wonder if they think of me too sometimes...
Makes me think of my ex wife
most likely no, theyre happy with their new life, only time they think of you is when life is going bad for them, ever had your ex call you when shes going through shit with her new man then when they work it out, you never hear from her again
wow thats terrible but sounds like a tv sitcom
sounds like classic Goerge Castanza lol
Sounds like a line from the movie Joe Dirt
2020?? It still " Falls On Me " after all these years!
I had this melody stuck in my head for over 20 years, since my Highschool days I didn't know the song title, nor the artist, nor the lyrics.
I just used Google Hum the song, and here I am.
Thanks technology.
I am the happiest.
Crazy how music can change ur whole mood
not to mention insidious , layered upon layered audio-tachistascope, subliminal backwards masking. fortunately this is a refurbishing spot because it is real. be careful of what you listen to online. Cassettes, records and CDs are the best.
I understood Amber and I agree. No matter how you hear it, it still hits just as hard. It's called good writing. Rare these days to say the least.
I sure do miss this Era of music. I still listen to it today
You know we're all getting old when this song plays and ur like where did the time go the 90's was awesome music isn't the same anymore this was talent.
oh, the 90s the decade I was never home
I fell in love with this song back in the early 2000's and I'm still listening to it and loving it! I'm 61 years old and I appreciate it even more now after all these years!!! I'm an old fart but still rockin' out!!!!! ❤
Vocals are delightful and I can actually understand what he is singing about. The music does not over power them, which is a good thing and a rarity these days. Music in combination with the vocals there is a strong dynamic of highs and lows which sets this song on fire then blows me away like ashes in the wind.
He's so damn gorgeous! And the music timeless..
Yes he is!!!!!!
Tina Vasquez
😉👍
Well, I’m not so sure I care for the facial hair…
He has always been gorgeous but he has definitely aged perfect 😍😍😍😍
Fuel's best single in my opinion. Comes close to best song in their entire catalogue. For me at least.
Damn Fuel was so badass. They were honestly diverse. You have songs like Last Time, Down, Empty Spaces, then songs like Innocent, Hemorrhage, Falls on Me. Coming from a guy who listens to A LOT of Pantera, I could always listen to Fuel. I was born in 1999 and have been a massive music fan since I can remember. Anytime I hear Fuel it takes me back to the early 2000’s when times were just better. People were better. Music was wayyyy better. I can only hope for those times to come back.
Brett + Carl = Amazing music. Come on guys, get back together!
this song. i would love for fuel to come back.
yes
Lala R They're touring right now. I just got to meet them last week in Az. They put on an epic performance and were so friendly

The only original member left is Bret..(lead singer)
Back when music was still awesome. ❤️
Wow, barely noticed 12 years went by since I heard this song.. One of my favorite song from this awesome band I've listened to for all these years.
Ahh, growing up on this music was the best thing ever.. I'm 21 now. and I fucking miss this kind of music, alt rock needs to be played on more radios now days...
Still one of the sexiest voices ive ever heard 😍😍😍😍

2023 and still listening to this underrated band. Great rock!
Love these guys!! Took my kids to see Fuel in concert. The lead singer jumped down off the stage and handed my son his guitar pick!! They were awesome!

This is my song. 🎵 I love it, so much.♥️ I love Fuel. 💜 ⛽️ Moms in the kitchen cooking. 🍱 I went to the casino, earlier. 🎰 I didn’t win anything.💛
One of the most unappreciated bands ever.
I've seen you hanging round
This darkness where I'm bound
And this black hole I've dug for me
And silently within
With hands touching skin
The shock breaks my disease
And I can breathe
[Chorus]
And all of your weight
All you dream
Falls on me it falls on me
And your beautiful sky
The light you bring
Falls on me it falls on me
Your faith like the pain
Draws me in again
She washes all my wounds for me
The darkness in my veins
I never could explain
And I wonder if you ever see
Will you still believe?
[Chorus]
Am I that strong
To carry on?
I might change your life
I might save my world
Could you save me?
Breathe $lowly and catch up! Fucking me oh fucking my I stopped doing drugs and don't know why.
Thank you for the lyrics
Thank you, kind lyric person!

They were and will always be the beacon for the Alternative genre. Long live Fuel!!!
If you want to be happy with yourself, start with believing in yourself and the power of goodness to transform all things! There are many that do not love themselves or others because their subconscious mind doesn't know what love is, as a result of a bad or loveless childhood or just plain bad luck.
These guys are in my top five. My first album was Led Zeppelin 1. I’m old as dirt but I appreciate beauty in music.
That intro.....Nostalgia hits hard when the local radio station plays this in the late afternoon and you're reminded of the great years of the early 2000s while simultaneously slowly dying inside from a 9-5 job.
Do something about then!!!
I did. Corporate drag became untenable. I made a change and now work a 7 on 7 off job with no
attachments to work when I
am off whatsoever. My days off are MY days off. All 14 of them each month.
When th song hits at 6pm driving home in summer
One of the best songs of all time, IMO 💖1️⃣🎼
I don’t need to be behind the studio controls to know that the opening to this song is pure genius!
Back when the world wasn't such a dumpster 🔥!!! I remember seeing Fuel and Tantric live and it was such an amazing night!!
The lyrics/song absolutely perfectly described my situation and feelings back in 2011/2012 when my now ex and I first broke up after nearly 14 years and two kids together. I was in a VERY dark hole I'd dug for myself, I felt all the weight of her dreams on my shoulders, we were trying to see if we could maybe fix things,( seen you hanging round) and the first time she touched me in a loving way after two years and alot of ugliness between us it was a "shock that breaks my disease"
I did wonder, if she saw the changes I'd made, would she believe they were real and permanent ? Etc, etc, etc. It was insane how closely the lyrics described my situation and feelings at that time.
We have all been there and a song or a brother drags us out.
why didn't you post them
You know what they say when you are digging yourself into a hole? Make sure to pile the dirt up on one side so you can climb out when you're done digging.
This song was playing in my head 18 years ago when I was in the hospital thinking I had lost my baby again, as I had just had a miscarriage prior to being pregnant with him. When the tech let me hear his heartbeat. I named my son Skylar because of those lyrics about the beautiful sky that falls on me. Great song. My son loves it too. Thank You Fuel!
LOVE THIS!!! Thank you for sharing and so very glad for your happy ending!!!

One of best bands that I can think of
Classic 90's angsty rock. Damn, even the angst was different back then. 😂
Such a beautiful recording! Still gives me goosebumps.
Shame these guys couldn't stay together.
Never got the recognition they deserved. Can we bring back good music again please
Seems like yesterday this was hitting the radio waves.
Time flys.
Love fuel best 90s band
I saw this band play at the Center One in Easton, PA a few years ago. It was by far the best performance I have seen in years of any band. Not only that but the venue holds less than 1000 people making it a very up close and personal experience. I liked them before the show and LOVED them afterwards. This song is one of my favorites.
2,000 people still don't know what good music is.......
I can not listen to this enough... several of their songs stay in rotation. Thank you for the life you provided through lyrics.
Been here since the 90’s. Graduated in 95. It’s gonna be hard to top the music of that era. That’s not a reflection on the available talent it’s just that many things just came together.
So songs will always remind you of one person for the rest of you life. I sometimes wonder if they ever think back.
Saw and met them 2 years ago..gave the drummer a joint .was a bucket list must for me..Bless you all who love this band.. Amen💪😇
