Whether it be guys like Default, Staind, Creed, and Puddle of Mudd from the Early 2000s (2000-2002) or guys like The Killers, Trapt, All-American Rejects, Lifehouse, 3 Doors Down, and Nickelback in the middle of the decade (2003-2006) or guys like the Jonas Brothers, Daughtry, One Republic, The Script, and Kings of Leon from the late 2000s (2007-2009).

Love this song soooo much! Songs like this remind me of my Dad. After he passed when I was 10... this song, Blurry, Only God Knows Why, & a few other would come on the radio at night & it made me think of him....he loved all these good rock songs!!!

I've listened to this song at least 35 times in 3 days. Has some major meaning right now. You get past something and live with it...than they enter your life again
I guess you forgot about the hundreds of thousands of civilians that were murdered in the Gulf War going on when this song was released. But hey, none of them had COVID-19 so there’s that, I suppose...
45 and hear you loud and clear. I was in an original band back then, and listening back to our songs, I can hear similarities. It was the last of good rock bands in mainstream.
This is what you call the last dregs of post-grunge, which, itself, was the last dregs of grunge. The melody is also a ripoff of a corny Billy Gilman song.
I met these guys in Canada visiting my mom. They were just doing a gig ata Calgary record store. They were just right there performing in my face about 6ft away. Their music was so awesome. We got posters and the entire band signed. It was free. Thanks Default.
That's so epic. Awesome memories always make awesome stories. The same thing pretty much happened to me except with Chevelle in Florida. Waited over 3 hours to see them in a line that pretty much filled the entire mall that the venue was in. Somehow made it to the front row as soon as the first song started and the pushing and moshing commenced. Definitely one of my favorite concert memories.
This was really the last wave of good rock music. Early 2000's produced some great rocks songs, but the sea of sh_t music had already begun to take over at that point, and now we're drowning in it today.
Computer generated crap singles by put together teenagers with fake tits and tattoos with that just right bullshit look with no talent is cheaper than paying for good rock bands that can play and can sing in time
Kelly Tolliver Except for the fact that most of these bands didn't make sh*t unless they had a series of multiplatinum albums and lived out of suitcases for years on end. Even then they were at the mercy of their record label for promo. Bottom line is the labels screw artists, so we're left with crap.
This song brings tears to my eyes. Not only the lyrics have meaning but the vocals remind me of years long gone for me. New band for me though since I don't keep up with music that much unless I hear it on the radio or my husband plays it for me. Great song
Underrated and Forgotten band. Brilliant
Not forgotten by some 😊
I felt my entire childhood come flooding back when that chorus hit.

Well I don't want to see you waiting

Afraid to feel

I'm wasting my time

You can't stop the feeling
And there's no reason
Just make the call
And take it all again
Woah again

When did our light turn from green to red
I took a chance and left you standing
Lost the will to do this once again

Canadians were putting out straight BANGERS in the 2000s!
Nickelback? Uhhhh....
This should have been the music video for Coldplay's song Clocks . Instead, Coldplay produced a bland, generic video with no reference to clocks at all. If you listen to the song Clocks, the beat lends itself perfectly to the ticking of a clock. You can practically "see" the gears turning and the second hand ticking, but nope... as usual it's a Canadian band that is innovative and places themselves "inside the watch" for a song about time. Nice! This deserves way more views. Another awesome Canadian rock band showing the world how it's done. :)
In fact, about the only thing Default could have done better, is if the band was ON the actual hands of the clock while being "inside the watch" as it was turning . They're inside an imaginary wrist watch in the music video but placing the drummer on an imaginary hour hand and the guitarists on the minute hand or something would have been taking it to ultimate level, so that they're actually moving inside the watch as time is passing.

turning 45 here, and I LOVED these kinds of music between 2002 - 2005...Still do
His voice is everything 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Back when things are straight and not Z. Love my youth 40 here
45 and hear you loud and clear. I was in an original band back then, and listening back to our songs, I can hear similarities. It was the last of good rock bands in mainstream.
Wow I haven't heard this song in almost 20 years and I remembered all the words
I just got out of high school when this came out. Still sounds good. I miss this stuff. The radio is atrocious these days. I fear for my children.
Don’t raise them on the radio put them on the music u like and they will grow up and like that as well.
Heard this song on XM today. I recommend you get a subscription
@@corycox5674 yasssss don’t even teach them about that radio lol

Old ,but still gold
Great music ❤ 👌
Children, this is what you call good music.
ToThePointGames Whatever old man it's too slow for my quick paced lifestyle
Still the best
@@aceyoshy6 don't worry, it'll be there when you slow down to it.
Yep one of my old favorite songs
This is what you call the last dregs of post-grunge, which, itself, was the last dregs of grunge. The melody is also a ripoff of a corny Billy Gilman song.
Why so underrated?? This music is pure gold!
I played this beautiful song randomly in the car and now my 8 year old is obsessed.
Just as good as the first time I've heard it !Rock on 12/2023-
I met these guys in Canada visiting my mom.
I turned 65 in Sept this music makes me feel young again . I am a 21 year old kid inside screaming to get out! I love this shit !
Love that
Damn. Listening this gem in your 30s is something else. Fan from malaysia 🇲🇾🤙🏽🥺
Hahaha terbaik bro! 😂
Hearing Dallas Smith sing this at the YQM concert was amazing! Such amazing artists!
Outstanding
I miss soft rock like this, BRING IT BAAACK!!!! 🤘
June of 2021 and am still loving this song!
August 23 2021
One of the songs I USED TO do in karaoke. I would only do the verses and my friend would do the refrain. We Nailed it! I miss those days!
Refrain/Chorus, You know what I mean. 😁🎤
Damn this is a kick ass song. March 2020 stuck inside travelling down memory lane wondering WTF happened to good old rock n roll.
Music in general has been ruined by Social Media
This was really the last wave of good rock music. Early 2000's produced some great rocks songs, but the sea of sh_t music had already begun to take over at that point, and now we're drowning in it today.
Computer generated crap singles by put together teenagers with fake tits and tattoos with that just right bullshit look with no talent is cheaper than paying for good rock bands that can play and can sing in time
You read my mind.lmao
Kelly Tolliver Except for the fact that most of these bands didn't make sh*t unless they had a series of multiplatinum albums and lived out of suitcases for years on end. Even then they were at the mercy of their record label for promo.
Bottom line is the labels screw artists, so we're left with crap.
Blaring this @ 10/6/2021, 00:35am.....good time and superb memories 👌
I digg this song, always reminds me of another time in my life...

Omfg i had forgotten ALL ABOUT THIS SONG!!!!!
This song brings tears to my eyes. Not only the lyrics have meaning but the vocals remind me of years long gone for me. New band for me though since I don't keep up with music that much unless I hear it on the radio or my husband plays it for me. Great song
Same, always thought it could be covered by a country artist
The first hit I heard from the great default will always love this song from a great band
This is music is perfectly balanced! Everything about this one is perfect! Voice, music, rythme... one of my favorite by new... this is a synergie
Rediscovering this song again was the best thing to happen today.
this song will never get old. 5/30/19
