Definitely want one!! Great job Brian & camera crew!
Thanks! Love the 70mm Viper - GREAT plane!
I can’t wait to get my hands on one! Awesome demo and impressive landing at 4:33 Brian!!👊🏻
Marry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family 🎉 😊 Excellent tutorials!!
Love the videos, wish you did a year end blooper reel. Love the personality and style of your videos, makes me want to spend more money. Also, great camera work as always.
Their blooper reel would consist of Brian saying, "Shibitty Balls!" repeatedly, with the sound of NX10 switches being violently, yet fruitlessly, flicked to and fro in the background 😂
lol@@AL-RCjunkie
wow. great skills and fantastic model!
Hey Brian,Merry Christmas to you,Megan and family
You fly your plane so Nice and it is a Nice plane 👌👌 cam skils are great man love it ...Nice videos this year thanks for sharing 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
❤❤😮😮insane 🎉. Merry Christmas Brian
What. No cobra maneuvers? Jon would be so disappointed 😊
Merry Christmas, Phillips's, er Phillipses, Philli- ... PHILLIPS PHAM!
👍
Been a subscriber since your humble beginnings. 😎
LOVE your enthusiastic and aggressive flying style. Tons o’ fun. 🤣😂
You wouldn’t last for 5 minutes at an AMA club. The overreach gatekeepers would combine and eliminate you immediately. 🙄
Haha! Great stuff, Brian and Meagan. Keep ‘em coming! 😍
I got one a few weeks ago and I have about 30 flights on it. It's a nice jet, but it's not $350 nice IMO. The front retracts are not great and are already getting stuck on the plastic housing on the way up. I end up having to decide whether to leave the gear up with the nose wheel stuck, or just fly with it down (which is not great).
The other issue I'm noticed is the wings are cracking right above where the main retracts sit. I've had to reinforce them with foam cure. Granted, I had a couple of bouncy landings (like at 5:35), but no crashes or anything that should cause a wing to crack.
On the plus side, I got 116 mph out of mine last week. I hear it can go even faster. Maybe I'll try some HV packs and see what happens. Great video as always.
You and your wife have the best Videos and Content… 🎄MERRY CHRISTMAS 🎄 TO YOU AND THE FAMILY 🎄
The longer I'm in this hobby the more I appreciate your ability to land these jets on that short runway. Impressive!!
And don’t forget- NARROW!
I don’t know how your wife can take such great videos. When that jet is all over the place. She’s AMAZING!! You better buy her the best Christmas gift ever!!! Merry Christmas 🎁🎄
Camera crew is one of the best on RUclips
She has the best gift, him
@@DuffusMonkey I think she might be the best!!
@@tommycash7811 I don’t know about that. He’s a great guy and pilot!!! He won’t admit it. But he is awesome!! Plus the best thing about him is he really knows and understands how to setup the transmitter for each plane or jet. With all the mixing,rates,curves,expo.Etc. I wish I could wrap my head around all that stuff. I could actually fly all the planes I bought that are still in the box. I just fly the cheap ones. I hope he builds a flying school on his piece of paradise over there Lol🙏🙏🙏
I fly this airplane in Colombia. Very good flyer. I really like Bryan Phillips videos. High quality information I get. with
Thanks for being here with us!
MERRY CHRISTMAS , Brian, Megan, and family!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks, Brad! Merry Christmas to you and your family as well. Hope ya'll are doing well.
@@BrianPhillipsRC Doing great. We had so much fun meeting at Joe Nall and BHAMRC. Look forward to meeting again. Keep in touch, Take care. ❤️
Hey Brad .. Happy Holidays to you and yours.. @@payitfwdrcl6171
Love this plane omg
You need one ;) bprc.me/Viper
I need the 90mm 😅
Perfect short landing, great job. I had the original blue viper 70, i like this color much better.
I like the orange too!
Great inside pass it almost ripped my eyeballs out lol
Cool vapor trails shoot in the beginning.
NIIIIICE 👌🏻
Brian continue the good work man you explain well also what is your favorite plane mine is the circus
I too love this jet, HOWEVER , it is not easy to land (my EDF experience is not great) and if there is any more bounce to the landing you will bend the gear pins. I’ve replaced many pins and even servos until finally I had a wire fire 🔥 (the wires are STUFFED in there) b/c of trouble shooting the front landing gear servo. Soooo, I’m practicing more and ordering my second one! I dare the FMS Avanti 70mm might be easier to fly and land but that’s just me?? Thanks Brian for your content always.
I have a question I have a nx10 fairly new to it but how do you safe select on the older ar636a receivers without safe being connected to your gear channel
Hello Brian, great demo keep the good work going love the Viper 70 and 90 just bought a 70 ,i need some help with the single yellow wire connector does it connect to bind channel ? and what does that do ? Please let me know about that . Thanks
Are you talking about the Single YELLOW wire on an FMS plane, or EFlite?
If EFlite - it's for factory programming...we don't really use it.
if FMS, that's for thrust reverse...watch THAT plane's video for help ;)
Thanks for the video - would you recommend this over the 50mm or either Habu for a first edf/jet?
Definitely NOT this as a first EDF. I'd do the Habu STS or the 50mm before the Viper.
bprc.me/Habu
By the way the thing took off like a Sprint Anti-Ballistic Missile, you MAY want to consider going to a 4S from the 6S- will lower the weight a lot as well- allowing you to fly slower, which is what it is all about ;-)
Merry Christmas new beginning to hobby follower
Your videos I love so much man I just found god and thankful for that you helped me find this hobby and in a way find God. I love seeing you grow I just mastered my t28 and saving up for a A10 warthog the UMX one or the big one I love you man and love seeing your videos and all you do for the community you should be the biggest flight channel out there it's super helpful unlike the channels that lie for views
Beautiful flight!
Thanks!
Excellent reviews on this plane, it's on my short list for next purchase. I like to stick with at least 50c batteries especially for jets, preferable 100c for jets. Will a 3200 100c battery fit well in this plane? I don't mind doing a little trimming in the battery compartment. Horizon says up to a 4000mah 6s battery, but, seems like you had a tight fit getting a 3200 30c in the plane during the unbox & build. Anyway, I'd appreciate hearing your thoughts on battery sizes and mah sizes for this plane?
Would it be great choice to fly as my 1st EDF ? I like the Habu 50mm but it doesn't have the Retractable Gears sadly and E-flite doesn't have any 50mm EDF with Retractable Gears 😢... what's your Advice please Brian and Camera Crew ? Need an urgent decision, please
You will have a LOT harder time with this over the 50mm Habu, and I suspect you'll be very glad you got the 50mm Habu under your belt first. I promise you will thank me later, but you CAN probably make this work, if you have a long runway.

Can I link this plane with the radiomaster zorro transmitter?
The last time i bought a helicopter from one of your videos and was never able to link it…..and remains on my desk till this day never been flown.
What type of receiver does that radio master have with it is the question? Happy holidays..
Can the viper be your first jet, and how many planes before I can get to the viper
i am torn between this model and the habu SS. love the retracts and flaps on this over the habu.
This ;) If you're looking for a "First EDF" habu ( bprc.me/Habu ) would be great, but if not, get THIS - bprc.me/Viper
New to the hobby. My NX8 will not charge any longer. The charge port (on transmitter) is loose. I need to send it in for repair, but I was hoping I could charge the battery externally some how. The battery has a XH-1S connector (I think) but can't find an adapter to charge it on my Spektrum charger. Just wondering if anyone knew how I could charge the transmitter battery when it's removed from battery compartment.
Got the UMX Waco (yellow) today (Xmas), but I can only look at without a transmitter. haha
Vipers rule!
Do you think this would be a good first jet??
My opinion is no! If you're talking about a first jet, I would go with the Habo .. It's just built for beginners starting out in Jets. . Now as for a good starter for a prop plane go with an Apprentice. I'm sure you can find videos here on both. HAPPY HOLIDAYS.
@@highdesertmisfitsrcclub2846 thanks
I agree with @highdesertmisfitsrcclub2846... this would NOT be an ideal first jet. Habu STS would be much better.
Dude have you done a video on your plane collection?????
Not for a while, but we need to do a "dungeon tour" update
That would be sweet
Why i don't have this just why????😢😢😢
Great rcplane, also GREAT rcpilot you are !!! Nice video! Why don't you cut those trees around? they rapresenting a danger...
Many of them are on the neighbor's properties. So, they aren't Brian's to cut.
And it's not like he's in the rc planes.
Challenges make us all better at what we love doing 👍
Well... we just got in from planting 20 trees and have 37 more in the garage, so...
We love trees and airplanes, but we don't expect everyone to love planes, so the trees will mostly stay. :)
When will there be a new plane video (fms kingfisher)
Hmmm... stay tuned! ;)
@@BrianPhillipsRC by the way do you recommend to buy the night timber x?
@@AldenYoPo Heck ya.. Love that plane
I can also choose the flex qq yak55@@highdesertmisfitsrcclub2846
It would appear that the viper 90 flies even slower than the 70?
Not at all.. That 90 is a fast bird.. But this 70 is no slacker.
@@highdesertmisfitsrcclub2846 Yeah, I meant the min slow speed may be lower on the 90 than the 70, but hard to tell on a video.
Understand @@Jonsoar
V3?!!
This is technically a V3. Yes, there was a first run, then they re-released with new Rx, then with Avian, if I recall. Might have that goofed up a bit, but it might look like V2.
@@BrianPhillipsRC thanks 🙏
Hey Brian look like you was having a ball I love to fly RC planes and I'm 69
NICE PLANE BUT.. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE WORST IN THE WORLD I PREFER OTHER BRAND THAN HH
HH are horrible with UK customers. They don't think we exist.
Germany is not much better - they’ll only stock certain models and no way to order anything else within the HH line.
Sweet edf. Ummm. Was just thinking maybe a umx viper. That would be suweet.
Try the umx Habo its a blast..
