Tim, you really do make me want to retire from my industrial electrician job and spend me days working from me tractor. I hope you know how well the Lord has Blessed you. There’s a ton of aggravations getting equipment to and from jobs and all the maintenance on the equipment (I was self-employed as an electrician for years so I have some experience with all that) but, in the end it is something I long for again. I live the life vicariously through your videos! Thanks for all you and Ms. Christy do to bring these videos to us!
That episode reminded me of the camp I attended as a child. Camp Elim up by Woodland Park Colorado. It is amazing how much impact these types of camps have on kids as they begin and even continue their journey with the Lord. It has been 30 years since I attended my church camp an yet every trip I take to Colorado, I find an excuse to run by the camp and see what has changed and what is the same.
I can’t believe it! I’m from Iowa and I attended Oil Bent each year while growing up between about 1981-82 till about 1989 very found memories. My uncle Howard Newlin was a very popular preacher in that area. God Bless you!
Awesome project Tim & Christy!!.. Great to see Tom & Randall back in action, as well!!.. You all did a wonderful job for such a great organization!!.. May God bless you all!!.. Have a great week..😉🙏
Super scientific. We used to just wait for big rain, then drag from the dry knobs into the mudholes. Love your camerawork. Very professional video. Thanks.
It’s always fun time when you work with family to get a project done in honor of your dad. Thanks for bring us along. I attended a church camp over by Kentucky Lake. Those where very special times.
Great video Tim! Thanks for highlighting the importance and blessing of Christian church camp in the midst of your project video. So many kids like you and me were fortunate to have that life changing experience. Mine was Timberlee in Troy, WI. My kids went to Horton Haven in TN and the “fuge” camps in GA and KY. Send a kid to a good church camp!
I used to love going to vacation bible school when I was young its good to get to learn about Jesus and make new friends your own age God bless you for helping them.
Wow, what an operation! One had to see it to believe it. Once again goes to prove how much work can be done with smaller equipment, willing hands, and the Lord’s guidance. Very impressive. Thanks for explaining how you planned it and the grade determination etc. Interesting and informative. Neat to see the follow up on the seeding as well. Outstanding! Blessings to the Oil Belt camp and all the willing hands.
This was an awesome video. I liked watching 3 tractors working together and y’all having fun doing it. Great job with the videoing also, the overhead shot were great
I need to invest in a new box blade given my long drive and roadways around the farm I am leaning on the towable kind. Great video Tim was fun to watch
Ah, but what IF there is a heaven and hell? What IF the Bible is true? What if there IS eternal life and eternal damnation? Our recent trip to Israel certainly made the Bible seem 'more real'. Definitely not a fairy tale!
Good video. Grew up in Browns, IL. I went to oil belt. The group of independent churches I think are the answer to why this is amazing. Just good humble country people doing work for God.
My family comes from Mount Carmel, IL and we had several oil wells around on aunt's and uncle's properties. Great video to the Marks and all their fine work on creating the swale.
Looks like Tim needs to have a meeting with the finance committee to see if he can get approval for a tractor and 53’ dropdeck trailer to haul more equipment! Love that grading system for cutting in an accurate slope for drainage.
Tim Milwaukee has a portable unit simple to use connect lock on the valve stem it reads the tire pressure you simply just add what you need. Just uses a big drill battery. Im wanting to get one at some point.
Great job!! Good seeing Tom and Randall. It is amazing what can be accomplished with these little tractors. Keep up the good work and God Bless. The Other Tim With Tractors.
I went to Oil Belt a couple of times when I was a kid. My kids have both been a few times. I also attend the Men’s night they have once a year. Well that was before Covid. I don’t think they have had one the past couple of years
Good job guy’s! I enjoy seeing your family hanging out doing projects together. We get so busy we don’t alway take the time to be with family. Tim if you put an oil cooler with an electric fan on your tractor would that help to keep the hydro oil cooler? Thanks for sharing.
I'm interested in the fertilizer and seed planter that fits on the back of the John Deere. Please let me know where to find it and find out the cost. Is the dirt packer all one piece and will it hook on top of the tiller blade.?
Dang, I wish I had known you guys were working on this project. I would have dropped by to say hello. Might have even bought cheeseburgers for you guys for lunch! 😁
@@TractorTimewithTim I would have been happy to do what I could. But I'm not as good looking as you guys, so you might have had to blur me out of the video to not scare your subscribers. 👴
On a more serious note, I recently regraded some of our front yard (the driveway culvert was lower than the dirt on the outlet side so it always sat full of water and I realized our garden expansion likely went right through where the water drains) and completely forgot to use the project to justify this box blade setup. It wouldn't have worked anyway, but it would have been an amusing conversation with the finance committee.
Don't.know the layout but consider making a pond or primitive swimming pool near the end of the swale. Can be a place to teach swimming, water supply for fire fighting, nature area, or recreation. As a pond a few picnic tables with big trees for shade ( tarps and until they get big) would give a pool of Betheda ambience to it.
Wow, 0.4% slope is very low! “Best Practices“ suggest 2% minimum slope for positive drainage. The water will move very slow and it’s exceedingly difficult to be that precise even with concrete! That’s less than 1/16” drop per foot! But you’ve optimized the conditions with the best available technology. I have the same challenge on my property and I still don’t have any ideal or obvious solutions. It rains 75” a year here. I’m pondering a collection pond to intercept the drainage from beyond my property and using the spoils to create mounds for orchard trees to keep their roots drier… I’m trying to avoid a drainage system to sumps with sump pumps.
I stand corrected you will not be putting number five rock down little bit surprised I thought it would’ve been beneficial to use that oh well it is what it is
Why didn't you make a small Swale and entrant and put in a 8 to 12 in smooth plastic pipe with manholes every so often to catch the water and it would look so bad it wouldn't have the heart place to mow and then when not have to wash down the side even on to win the ground and out of pipe over where it looks like he was running out over the hillside he also could make the standpipe from the pipe up perforated within the steel manhole covers on top of that or you can't even get heavy duty plastic just wondering
Anything underground requires maintenance. Surface drainage always prefers if possible. We were probably 3” below where we needed to be…but this will allow the swale to last longer, work better
Take a look at the thumbnail. Moving a much larger amount of dirt with the box blade than I could with loader. Also, very hard to stay ‘smooth’ with loader. It wants to ‘dig in’, or ‘slide over’. Pull type box blade works wonderfully!
You guys should test that channel before the christening call the fire department stick a fire holes in there and open it wide see if it turns the way you wanted it
Anytime your trying to shoot for grade, whether with a dozer, a scraper, or a blade, always get within a 1/10ft over the whole area before trying to pull off the last 1/10. Once the blade is full or the tractor can't pull it, raise the blade enough to drag your excess off the top to your spoils area, then come around and start over. There's no sense trying to get down to grade in the first 10ft when you still have to strip of a foot of material over the next 90ft. That section you got to grade will be off again after making a couple passes over it to get to your next section. Cutting the whole section down evenly is more efficient, easier on the equipment and helps with drainage if a pop up rain shower were to happen
Your dad would be proud of you guys what you're doing with this Camp to help him out
Tom and Randall could have their own channel. They are definitely a TTWT fan favorite.

Wow TTWT helping a childhood ministry of Tim's roots and on TFL to beat a Ram Cummings all in one day. Got to love it. Lol. Well done to all of you!
Your project turned out really well. Good to see your family again.
We know several kids from our area that have attended the Oil Belt.

Love it!! Oil Belt Camp was my favorite place to go during the summer time! I went to 29 camp weeks there!! Great job on this video!!
Thanks Miranda!
Great to see your family working for a worthwhile goal. 🤠
I’d love to know what kind of audio video equipment you use. From all the channels I watch, yours sounds the most clear.
Laser controlled!! Wow - that's amazing. The Deere did a great job.

“May hang up if you mention ttwt” haha great. Job came out super the grass was filling in really well. Thanks for sharing.

The swale turned out great, it should take care of the drainage issues.

Thanks Don. We thought this one was great too!
When you call Baker Seed, mention TTWT and they might hang up on you! Lolol
Tim i think your fertilizer spreader was cranky cause he needed a double cheeseburger lol great work. someone has to help out the big guy

I'm in need of building a shale how deep did you build yours
Swale? Deep enough to drain the water. Everyone is different. Just enough to generate slope.
Hey Tim!! Is there a website for the Randall bluetooth spreader?
Voice activated….but it complains a lot!
Little agri-fab broadcast spreader is super fast and inexpensive.
How is it handling all the water.
We’ll have to wait until winter/spring to see how it handles the rainy times.
is pulling a box blade too much work for a 1025r? that is the whole reason i want to buy one?
Within reason, it is fine.
Oil gets hot if you pull it hard for a long time.
@@TractorTimewithTim oh good, i am old I cant do anything for a long time :)

Little dozer and Vinnie with the power rake would've done that in under 2 hrs. But you wouldn't have had as much fun.
What complications did you run into
Perhaps watch the video?
Tim i dont understand why you pull so much dirt. isnt scraping about taking long drives and level it just by inches for the best result?.
