    I wanna thank you for your videos. I’ve been enjoying them for a long time. I know you’re a big thing about safety and you running that tire low like that is a safety issue. If you get on any type of angle that changes your center of gravity I have a friend that found out the bad way.

    One of these mowers seemed like the solution to our ditch mowing issues - but they complicated by the original property owner putting evergreens all along the side of the road. 400 yards of evergreens on the top of the bank right beside the road to scratch at the vehicles, and as an added bonus they only have another few years before they reach the power line above them.. Some peoples great ideas....yes he planted them there on purpose.

    What are your thoughts on a finish mower vs flail for a nice lawn? I think for brush hog work I like the flail better. But for just general lawn mowing of a couple acres of grass, does the flail hold up to the finished product?

    • @GoodWorksTractors
      @GoodWorksTractors  7 месяцев назад +1

      If you only want to mow your lawn, then a dedicated zero turn is hard to beat. The flail mowers work fantastic as an all around machine and I would hope this video shows the performance on a lawn.

    It’s good to see a new video from this channel. I’d like to buy a mower like this for my my Kubota MX5200. Unfortunately the Australian Del Morino distributor does only sells flail mowers that extend and retract horizontally.
    I’m thinking of trying a cheap Chinese flail mower. There seems to be a $15k difference between Chinese and Italian mowers. I’m sure Italian mowers are much better but if it a choice between second best and nothing I might choose second best.

    Where you aware that some of the 2024 Delmorino's (like the FLI186MHSS) are now quick hitch compatible?

    • @GoodWorksTractors
      @GoodWorksTractors  7 месяцев назад

      Sorta...I'm not advertising that until they work the bugs out of the system. Tolerances were too tight and some rub steel on steel of the quick hitch and flail mower mounting brackets.

    • @JCWren
      @JCWren 7 месяцев назад +1

      Yeah, I noticed that also. I wonder if that would be considered a warranty item? :) But I still don't understand why this is so complicated. There are published specs for QHs, and it's not like this is rocket surgery. Also, you can't use a Speeco QH. You have to use the cat 2 pins, and the way they sized the holes, you can't replace them with cat 1 pins. Which means I had to go back to my Landpride hitch, and now have to make some 1.5" OD / 7/8" ID bushings in various lengths for some of my other implements to get everything to seat properly. Because the typical Cat 1 to QH adapters don't work on implements that have a plate on either side of the mounting point. Grrrr....
