I have been diabetic for 7 years now with my A1C almost 15 the last time it was checked. I realize how close I was to losing myself. I started the keto diet 2 months ago and now my A1C is 6.5 that's while no longer taking any medication. My doctor told me to keep doing what I'm doing cause it's working for me, and I have lost about 10 lbs. I no longer crave the foods I thought I couldn't do without. I look forward to trying different recipes especially during the upcoming holidays. Thanks for your recipes.
it came out really good. I was skeptical but this recipe works. I used a n avacado/sunflower/coconut oil, and a much less sweetener ( 1/3 cup) .... it came out really good
My dad and I recently started keto and after dropping 10lbs our first week we made this as a treat, was very rich so ill probably reduce the amount of sweetener a bit but very good freezing the rest for another day
I have to wait a week, but on the 7th I'll DEFINITELY be making this! Though, I'll have to make about 1/3 of this otherwise I'll end up eating it within a couple of days by myself, lol.
UPDATE: I've made the cheesecake today. Had few substitutions: 1) had no whipped cream replaced with full fat Greek yogurt 2) I didn't have enough cream cheese so added mascapone cheese. 3) Don't really like uncooked base so I've baked the base for 10-12 mins in oven at 180 degrees Celsius (350 Fahrenheit) Observations: 1) I will not add Greek yogurt next time it gave it a slight yogurt after taste. 2) next time I would crumble the base as it was like a hard biscuit/ cookie🍪 base. 3) the chocolate was a bit sickly if you're a huge chocolate fan you'll love it. 4) so amazing the powdered sweetener worked a treat don't like granulated the after taste of alcohol base sweeteners. 5) it was a bonus that it was an eggless cheesecake. Overall: this cheesecake recipe taste nice and very filling/heavy that could be the high fat content of the mascapone which I thought the Greek yogurt would balance out. Thank you for sharing your recipe. Much love and blessings to you ❤️

@@Andyman269I didn't see in the directions about the 85% cocao for the dark chocolate. I used 100% cocao unsweetened baking chocolate so it clumped up so I ended up using an extra cup of heavy whipping cream and an extra 1/2 cup of keto sweetener to soften the consistency and to make it taste less bitter, honestly it turned out better than this videos recipe with more of a cheese cake texture, this video looks more like chocolate pudding pie consistency (which isn't bad at all) but mine looks more like a cheese cake, just sayin.
Was your dark chocolate unsweetened or sweetened and was it 100% cocao or 60%? Because I used unsweetened 100% cocao baking chocolate and the recipe called for 1 cup of heavy whipping cream and it was very thick to the point it clumped up in the bowl so I actually had to gradually add another cup of whipping cream and more keto sweetener to counteract the bitter taste from the chocolate.

It's thoughtful of you to consider your dad's health while celebrating his birthday! This no bake keto cheesecake recipe is sugar-free and low in carbs, and it's likely a better option for someone who is pre-diabetic. However, it's essential to note that individual responses to ingredients can vary. It would be a good idea for your dad to check in with his doctor or a nutritionist before making any drastic dietary changes, even with sugar-free or low-carb recipes. @@LowCarbSparks Honestly there are so many "version" of keto that I"m sure this certainly falls into one of them, and I'm certainly no expert on keto diets, but the point of "keto" is to go into ketosis which you're not really doing if you're introducing glucose into your system.
