finally, somebody has the same opinion as me. been one of orchestra members, playing trombone, and in my professional opinion, i will not say that it was some impressive, grandiose performance. that score has lots of semibreves, so nothing hard to hit the key. well, who knows?
@@chrispalmer2136 It sounds like he's using diaphragmatic vibrato as opposed to lip vibrato. Its a less common style but still artistically viable depending on context

Easily. Fair play to Julian for stepping up and doing it on a big stage, but people are overhyping it a bit.
