LMAO Oh Vibeke...I’m not drunk ! 😂 ... I have a small child as well soo I can totally relate. As usual lovely tutorial. Thank you. I’ve wanted to learn this stitch for awhile now. Just reading my mind lately. Keep up the awesome work. Don’t forget to sleep 😴 once in awhile. Lol.
@ Miss Angie... Lmbo! @1:50 I was like 😳... Poor lady. 😂 I've felt the both of your pains... My youngest is 12g... 23g, 21g, 15b and 14b. Yes 5 of 'em. Didn't learn to crochet til I was pregnant w/ my 15 yob. Most beautiful thing I've ever learned. Happy hooking!
@@DivingDucksCrochet @1:50 I had to rewind so I could read what was scrolling😂😂😂... I honestly thought to myself... She's tired, she needs coffee. I feel your pain but trust me if you haven't met coffee yet... He's the best thing since sliced bread. But please take time to sleep when you can get them to sleep. Even if it means falling asleep in their beds next to them. I have 5 and I've done that more than 50 times. Awesome basketweave tut! Best 1 I've seen yet! You rock! Keeping my 🤞you find time to rest! Thank you & happy hooking.
i somehow have 12 bernat blanket stripes cakes and i’m using this pattern to make a huge blanket for my bed. thank you for such clear instructions!! buying all those cakes was an expensive accident 😅😂
@@DivingDucksCrochet I believe I have used about 4-6 cakes so far, I had some of them rolled into one big ball. so far the width of my blanket is 90 inches 🤣 i think i am going to make it 90 x 90
I noticed the same thing. I double crochet just like her and get scolded for it, but I like how it makes your double crochet have a tighter look. If that makes any sense. I was glad to see someone else do it, and I was glad you noticed it.
This is a great tutorial, iI really loved how your blanket turned out. Just a quick question When you finished the blanket was it heavy? I was just doing the same pattern in Lionbrand "Hometown ", I used 8 squares and it was about 59 '' wide (I know waaaaaay to long. lol it will be my first) and 16 or 17'' high, and it was so heavy I had frogged it and am now looking for another pattern.
Getting back into Crocheting, this tutorial is just what I was looking for.. Thank you!
Yes!!! I love it🙏🙏👏👏👏🤘
Currently making this with bernat crushed velvet, it is amazing! Thank you for the video!
You’re welcome 😊...and yes, its amazing but an yarn eater. /Vibeke
Love this for my next baby blanket! You are a wonderful teacher!!! Thank you!
Thank You so much! You made my day😍🙏🙏🙏
Thanks. You are a good teacher. Can't wait to try.
Thank You so much Kim. Hope it turns out beautifull. Just remember, that it is an Yarn-eater :-)
Beautiful pattern ❤️ Will start a blanket with this pattern. Thank you so much for sharing!!
You are very welcome, Mariangie. Glad You liked it 😍 /Vibeke

I absolutely love your videos. It is so easy to follow you. I’ve done a couple blankets from your patterns
Thank you so much!
Love this pattern, thanks for sharing.
You’re welcome 😊
Perfect timing for my friends baby
Glad to hear - Just wanna remind You, that this blanket requires a lot of yarn, compared to the other 4 Bernat Blankets I have. 😊

Ha ha ha. Yup, I was surprised as well about the amount og yarn needed.
How much have you used for a blanket to fit a bed?

Great job
Everyone does it different
Thank You, Connie. Yes, that´s the beauty of crocheting. 😊
/Vibeke
I noticed that when you yarned over, you did so going 2 different directions on your double crochet.... Does it matter?
No, as long as you are consistent and do it the same way through the whole blanket, it doesnt matter 😊
Thank you, I was wondering if it gave a different appearance .

EXCELLENT video and beautiful work. I hit the subscribe button.

Is there a written version of this? Video was excellent and very easy to follow!
No, sorry Carla. But thank you for for your nice words. /Vibeke
How does this pattern in bernat last with washing? I had problems with worming stitches, even if I used a smaller hook than recomended...
I think its a pretty firm pattern and I wash it at 40 degrees and have no problems.
@@DivingDucksCrochet thank you for the clarification!!!🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻❤❤❤
Určitě vyzkouším kolik stě spotřebovala materiálu a jak ta deka byla velka sleduji z ČR velmi pěkné video
Can You please translate? :-) I hope You liked the video.
Wanting to make a blanket of about 2m. is it correct to make 161 chains + 2 (207cm total) ?
Would it look odd to use 2 colors with this?
А можно ли из 2 цветов так связать?
What size hook is she using
Hey, is it normal for the edges of it to keep curling up?
Mine doesnt curl at all🤔 You might wanna try another size hook.
@@DivingDucksCrochet Alright, thank you! ☺️
@@LoyalCarry You are welcome :-)
