Goblet of Fire was my first Potter book. There was so much content that a friend had to remind me that it was actually my most hated genre, Mystery. The revelation didn't slow me down however. I quickly read the rest of the series and have been an admirer ever since.
My dad bought the first 4 in a collector's set before the 5th went out to stores. I don't have a favorite, just a good story all over
Interesting to find out that my favorite book wasn't the #1 in sales. My favorite book is The Half Blood Prince. I love it for two main reasons- 1.This book allowed to me to understand my favorite character better (the prince himself I am a Snapehead and proud of it). 2.The memories to Tom's past were absolutely fascinating to read about. The memories is something that the movie didn't portray well at all because they were busy with romance, cutting out the Battle Of The Astronomy Tower which is something I have fury of and instead gave us a dumb borrow battle that didn't happen in the book. As for a movie I love the 2nd one the most and also the 4th as a stand alone film and ignoring the accuracy problems.
Watching/reading about Harry Potter and the wizarding world makes me so happy especially because it’s one of my happiest memories with my grandma and father who read it to me when I was little unfortunately neither is with me anymore

Goblet of Fire is my absolute favorite. I remember waiting in line for the midnight release. I was 3rd in my line. Stayed up and read that book till I finished. No sleep. No regrets. 💜
Prisoner of Azkaban is definitely my favorite book in the series

I guess I’m shocked that the book sales decreased with each book, by around 40million copies. I would have imagined, with the Potter mania, they had just increased in sales, not that they didn’t break every record. That was quite a surprise to me though, I wonder why.
It makes complete sense. A lot of people bought the first few books and then didn't finish the series. Every time a new book was launched , the old ones became bestsellers once again because new readers had to start from beginning.
I'm curious if this counts the audiobooks. I purchased mine the weekend the Deathly Hallows came out, and I paid $99.95. Obviously that's much higher than the $10 per book average, which is why I'm asking the question.
Won't that be considered under the ebook catagory since you need a file and a device for the audio part
@@EmelyPhan No real idea, which is why I asked the question. I tried finding it on Google, and the closest I got was learning that Harry Potter books hit 1 million in 4 months when Audible put them out in 2016, as a cost of $17.99 per book, and Rowling got about 40% of that. In my eyes, they're still considered books, but in the eyes of commerce I don't know for sure.

I just started reading the series just get back in the rhythm of reading and getting lost in a series. Seeing how successful the series was (and still is) is AMAZING! I would love to see the books re-released with J. K. Rowlings’ full name printed on the cover out of RESPECT for her work ! She is literally a part of history!
