QUEENSRYCHE "UNPLUGGED" TRULY PROVED GEOFF TATE IS TRULY ONE OF THE GREATEST SINGERS OF OUR TIME!! SECOND TO NONE!
4 octave range with no fall out, power straight through and a great lyricist to boot... hard to beat.
Theres no one like Geoff Tate, no need to mention other singers.
I studied opera singing for years....and I REALLY ADMIRE Geoff Tate!
Geoff Tate is a Vocal God! It's not just his high notes or his low notes it's his POWER and style that makes him UNIQUE!
OPERATION MINDCRIME was the best creative operatic metal storytelling albums of all. Simply outstanding for that time til now.
The man truly possesses a great gift. I am greatful that he has shared it with us all these years. My favorite singer ever!
There is no doubt GEOFF TATES VOCAL RANGE IS LEGENDARY!
I saw them in 1985,& 86, nothing can express How It made me feel, and continues too !
VERY surprised that they didn't notate the scream he did in Gonna Get Close To You.
I still think Operation Mindcrime was one of THE BEST albums ever made, and I was 12 when the Queensryche EP came out lol.
No one could touch Tate in his day. Untouchable. From low to high is unmatched. I still say vocally The Warning is the best album ever made. 👍
AND THE GREAT DEGARMO BACKGROUND HARMONIES!
Best vocalist I've heard on vinyl and live. Loved Ryche since Warning.
GEOFF TATE live in Tokyo proved how amazing Geoff Tate is live for there 1st studio album!
Geoff Tate is one of the best vocalists ever. In the 90's it was simply unbeatable.
Impressive work man, very detailed and excellently showed. Tate was a beast, and watching many Queensrÿche live concerts from their best years, Tate nails every note. Not many singers can say that. Too bad I was too young to have watched some of their concerts here in Europe. Thanks we have the internet!
Tate & Halford have always been my 2 favorite male singers. Benatar my favorite female. All 3 have a background in opera, and are so powerful!! 👍
Do basically we learned today that Geoff loves him some B4.
Thank you for sharing our favorite voice ever in your way!!!!!!!! His voice makes you feel every word n note
