Kiske is very good, but I don't think anyone can beat Geoff's expression, tone, vibrato, phrasing, power, intensity, and charisma!
Granted he's not a young man anymore, but that doesn't take anything away from what he could do at his peak..
I think all comparisons should be made of artists during their prime.

I think Gef Tate’s voice is more clear and has core strength from low to high range tone. Because he seems like he know how to deliver clear vocal sound without causing any conflicting in the throat. Most vocalists struggle in live concerts, but Gef Tate’s voice is stay same or even sound stronger. He has unusual strong voice with vocal technique.

They are very similar to each other, they have the same tone and range (many people says in the comment that Tate is a baritone and Kiske a tenor but it's not true, they are the same, between baritone and tenor, 70% of the male population are between baritone and tenor, the difference is that Tate was a heavy smoker and his speaking voice sounds more deep, but is not lower than Kiske) for me Kiske has a more pleasent tone, very beautiful on the lower register, and less..."unique" on the high notes. But for me Geoff is a legend, a very very very unique singer and performer, iconic in every way. And the cool thing is that his recent live performances are unbelievably good.

Kiske is good, is close but Tate is better not only in power even the other is close but also in color, in clarity, in emotion well express. Tate was the best at that time not only becaus of the power but for the melody in the voice, the color, the emotion all bombined. That is why it is very hard to keep a voice like that when you become older. Many many song need that vocal to be in good shape.. even in texture. There is not only high pîtch but middle in texture and way down and than come back , etc... etc... Many songs need performance. He was my favorite becaus he was the most complete with a clear voice. Many had power but not a beautiful voice like him.

I can die happy, when I hear Tate singing " I want out ", and Kiske singing " Queen of the Reich ".Unfortunately, this is not likely to happen, especially nowadays, when both singers are not what they were long ago.

Thereal Chromaggus I did see and listen Kiske live @ Kavarna Rock Festival, 29.06.2015, and his vibratto when singing I want out is not the same, he has lost much of it, and now he sounds thin. But hey, Kiske having a concert 70 km away from home - I am one lucky man !!!

Man this is a tough one for me because they are my two favorite singers ever period!! I think if I had to choose I would go with Kiske only because the very first time I heard him sing even my dog looked at me in disbelief 😜

SadDadDancer Prophecy was RE-recorded during Rage; it was first recorded around Warning, and was on the Decline of Western Civilization soundtrack (but the version on this vid is the Rage version, so yeah)
