@@GreatDayForAHike I saw that video that is why I commented in the first place, GoPro Labs extra tab has a lot to discuss and more features to explain so yea... I`ll be glad to see such a video thanks.
Hello there . Like always awesome videos . Question for you wish action camera would you think is better for a person who doesn’t do any editing . Most of the videos are hiking trails . Thanks again
Question In your opinion , what would you recommend for time lapse mode between the GoPro 13 , The Insta , Or DJI ?? Just for time lapse only , what would you go with ? Thanx In Advance , Cheers
Great question! I used GP-LOG with this footage and then applied the LUT from GoPro. Great results can be achieved with any of the color modes. If you don’t want to grade/apply the GoPro LUT I recommend the Standard color mode for best results.
@@GreatDayForAHike Alright thank you so much. This will help me quite much with all my blurry / images in low light. And yes I have the GoPro LUT on my editing program 👍
@GreatDayForAHike Hi again. I tried the settings you recommended and I used flat as color and it' still a lot of flickering. I use a GP Hero 12 and I don't know what Im doing wrong.
@ Hi man. I did have 30fps and shutter 1/60 so I don`t know why Im getting flickering. I notices now that I had sharpness on medium instead of low and hypersmooth off because I don`t have a gimble. I will try with medium sharpness next time. Thanx for answering ✌
nice video! i think making the video with HDR it helps a lot on the lowlight, I have done 100s of videos in low lgith with HDR without any gimbal, 4k 30fps and they look beautiful, ofcourse you are not going to have the perfect image, but its pretty good
How can you use “low” sharpness? I have Hero13 and between low and medium sharpness so big difference! With low you have no details at all. All video just a… blur porridge of pixels😅 Even day time with sun. High sharpness is terrible. But for me medium is the best option. I’m not a pro. I bought GoPro just few days ago and making my first videos with it last few days. But low sharpness is terrible was useless. No?
I film all of my Hero 13 footage in sharpness low. I have tried medium before and it’s a bit sharp for my liking and I can always add back some sharpness while editing. If you prefer medium, then use medium, but I agree that high should definitely not be used.
@@GreatDayForAHike May I also ask you about HDR on Hero13? What do you think about it? As I can see HDR switched on looses details. How you doing with it? Does it worth it?
I thought that the point with action cameras is the integrated image stabilization. Using gimbal somehow is pointless. Go pro just is not the right choice for low light shooting. DJI Osmo Pocket 3 is miles ahead than this setup and we all know that. I tried GP 12 and it's ridiculous bad like 2016 samsung mobile phone camera. Congratulations for your work.

wow this video quality is insane
Yes, I found it to be even better than I expected.

Hi and thank you for this video. I was just wondering if you are filming with Standard, HDR or LOG? Again thanx for this awesome video 👍

thank you for the video. the same settings apply to the gopro 11?
Yes these same settings and techniques should work well with the GoPro Hero 11.

Gimbal not fit when use action cameras mount in a case
Correct. You’ll need to not have your GoPro in a case.
Even silicon cases?
Some silicon cases, if thin enough, should work.
