It is wrong to look at any segment of society that encompasses diverse groups of people as monolithic. Her critiques have been around since at least the 1980's when it comes to pride parades, and much further back when it comes to trans people.
I was just about to say that. There are people who are gay that just want to live a quiet life and not be discriminated against. And with any movement, you are going to have elements who are more fringe and probably do not represent the more moderate views of the majority of said group.
My bank here in Canada decided to post advertisements all month about putting the flags as the numbers on the back or the Canadian Women's Soccer (Football) team. With the big headline "Inspiring the next generation" while the women on the team hold hands with children walking onto the field. Makes me want to change banks, but sadly... I'm pretty sure they all do something similar...
A real question is if these gen z has tried the let’s lifestyle and left, are they still lgtv? A lot of Christians will say yes b/c of the actions. So how would you redeem this ‘25’% of a generation if the message from society and church is a message of permanence when you get into these lgtv waters?

No most Christians wouldn't say they are still lgtv if they have left that lifestyle and came to Jesus. I was once a drug addict, alcoholic adulterer who would steal and manipulate but Jesus washed me clean. The Holy Spirit renews our mind and our hearts and sanctifies us to the glory of God the Father. If someone leaves the lgtv lifestyle they are no longer defined by their sin. If they continue in it though then that would speak for itself. But i know the ifb people may feel different.
Christians would say they are forgiven if they have repented and come to Christ. We don't define ppl by their past sins. Many come to Christ and despite still struggling with same sex attraction choose to fight temptation and live chaste. They are absolutely Christian, a new creation in Christ.
We accept ppl with all kinds of sinful pasts, all can be washed clean.
@littleboots9800 but if they wanted to marry the opposite sex, that would be a problem for you. Since you didn’t even propose that as a option.
@@alexika9981 they can do that too if their potential spouse is aware of their past and is cool with it. Do I personally think its wise if they still struggle with SSA? No, but that's my personal view and not one they're bound by. If they do decide to do that I wish them all the best, as I would any marriage.
