Given how crazy the world has been and is getting, giving your life to Jesus is common sense.
Feels like society definitely is reaching that tiping point where people are stepping back for a moment and assessing everything.
The thing is, simply, the devil overplayed his hand!!! There has been so much evil in society that the only way to make sense of it is to accept that the devil exists and admitting that will only lead you back to God.

I think that one of the most loving things God will do is to let us experience the complete opposite of His goodness so that we realize how good He really is.
No society or human advancement can fight God
Are they truly coming to Christ and forsaking their self-righteous ways? Christ is the fullness of God’s righteousness!
People are taking sides - good versus evil. This is also happening on the local level too with your neighbors and friends and family as well as you personally. Choose wisely.
Things have gotten so dark these days in society as a whole and even unbelievers are starting to see that. There's no hope in this world or pursuing pleasure. We're seeing it play out in social media and with RUclipsrs who achieve wealth, fame, etc., then later share with their audience how they don't understand how unhappy they are. Like you touched on here, people can dabble in the dark stuff and put themselves in bondage until they have no choice but to cry out to God for help. There's no hope but Jesus Christ.

I’m not convinced that the unveiling is a revival, but that the lack of meaning modernity gives has become more obvious. It’s common for people to change their lifestyle choices when they realize something is wrong. But it’s not until people stick with it that we see this new direction as sincere, rather than trendy. But this is all a very good thing. I just don’t think there is enough to suggest “revival” yet.

I agree, I’ve been noticing people are just more open to the supernatural. God give us the grace to relay Him during this opportunity!
I also think it’s important to note the mass exodus of people out of the occult to Jesus, the New Age to Jesus movement, which is still going strong years later. Maybe the Lord is saving many out of the darkness to be able to testify to those who are increasingly inquiring
My question is are they truly coming to Jesus? or just wearing him as a jacket they can take on and off? We have to try every spirit to see if it's from God. I think it's great celebs are being saved and proclaiming Christ, however it's the holy spirit and fruit that's important because if not its just wearing a Jesus sticker. My prayers for everyone in their journey with Christ.
What do you mean by try every spirit?
Are we really to test and try all PEOPLE? No! This would have horrible consequences. What we should rather do is assume they are striving to follow Christ, help us if they ask, give wisdom and advice and gently nudge, not stand back and look at them like liars and test if they have the Spirit of God. God will shake that out, not you.

A revival of sense and the revelation that God is indeed the foundation of all things is a great start. That being said, i would challenge people to name Him. Christ is an office, His name is Jesus/Yehshua. He and He alone is Lord.

We are seeing the slow decline of cultural Christianity on the US. The side effect of this is that as growing up in the faith becomes less common, when well known people embrace Christianity it makes the news
When the darkness rises, the light rises all the more. I believe these are the labor pains. The Spirit is being poured out. The Kingdom of Christ is at the door.

Yahweh only knows what is in a person’s heart. We can only pray that people are realizing and coming to Him. If they are repenting or not, that is between them and God. We are living in deceptive times, for some people only He can reach them, if He chooses to do so.

It’s nice to see but hopefully it’s not some celeb fad. Nowadays with the internet things become fads so easily and people have very sheep like behavior. Hopefully Jesus is their sheperd and it’s not their wanting to fit in to the new social movement for a season.
This is an interesting topic cause I was into witchcraft and stuff like that before coming to faith but I will say this that stuff is not fun, it's not good, there is a lot of suffering and scary stuff there.... I'm saved by grace I would caution anyone dabbling in this stuff turn to Jesus you don't want to let these things in they will hurt you I experienced it myself
I don't think people should take mushrooms but mushroom did lead me to Jesus Christ and led to me being born again. About 3 or 4 years ago I had a trip that was amazing felt like God came into me and allowed me to feel like .0001% of his connection to everything I could feel every blade of grass every living conscience after that I never had the want to do mushrooms again and never have. about a year and a half ago I was truly and supernaturally born again, so I'm not sure what to think. That trip wasn't negative at all and it started me on my path to finding God and I fount Jesus was saved and not no weird new age Jesus or homo Jesus the KJV Jesus. But I also agree with you that ppl shouldn't take it to try to find God and people have a bad time on them and use it as an excuse to do them and get stoned. I think your right but I think that against my personal experience and bias.

Jordan Peterson is milking Christianity, but hasn't professed faith.
Everyone claims Jordan hasn't professed faith, yet Jordan has made it abundantly clear what his position on "professing" is. Jordan asserts true belief is professed through one's life and actions, not through one's words. I'm not saying that I necessarily agree with that definition of profession, but to Jordan, he is professing what he believes through his actions, and that's more than enough for him.

You've likely been told false things about Catholicism, and if you really sit down and spend time getting to know catholics and having long nuanced conversations about our beliefs, you'll find we believe almost exactly the same things though it's presented differently

No, it's the opposite of a revival...it's the great apostasy, falling away...most of these new converts are going to the Catholic church. Accepting Christ is meaningless if you're not accepting the true Christ, and joining a false church that will actually lead you away from Him.
