Gregg even though we did not find much still a fun hunt. Nice meeting Jose and his father in law as well. Hopefully these storms and tide surges shift some sand around.
I’ve always been the type to get into a comfort zone. I used my Excalibur for over 7 years and swore I’d never replace it. The simplicity of the Nox got my attention, so I got one as soon as it came out. The Deus has a lot of settings and gadgets that I have no interest in spending the time to learn. If anything I’d consider a Manticore, but I don’t see the benefit to me at this time. The Nox is an amazing machine, and I don’t see a change in the near future. Along with detecting (since the 80’s), I also have a long list of other hobbies that take up time. I build cars, go to the desert with ATV’s, have a camping trailer, jet skis, and probably other things I’m forgetting about. Getting the latest and greatest in the detecting world isn’t something I’ve ever had a focus on. If it works it works.
Can we not say the beach names? Make people do a little bit of research to find the cuts instead of just handing it to them. In 2018 one of the beaches got really heavy erosion, a guy posted a video saying exactly where it was, and the next day there were 20 people from a 100 mile radius hammering the spot.

I get it. I assure you if it’s going to be a producer, names won’t be dropped
