You can make it to the second roof section with a crouch jump, then jump off of the roof to the left. It's a straight run to the cave. Then active camo past the dudes in the cave. No fighting at all if RNGeesus is kind to you and doesn't put anyone in your path.
General Jimmies he never was killed in the games and he was confirmed to be alive back in November of last year Note he was not present in the Thursday war.
Bunker Jeremy Wasn't there a part in the book where the Arbiter needed to escape and another elite donned his armor, but as a result that elite was killed. Mind you I don't have the book and you know how reliable wikipedia can be.
It annoys me that no matter how well you do in this level, there is like a 50% chance a handful of the flood in the last zone will just hop out of the holes and get stuck so you have to waste time scouring the area to find and kill them only to be ambushed immediately by the next wave of enemies once you kill the glitched and stuck ones.

This would most likely be a level I dislike the most. One thing I can say I like about it would be the slide rides. I kinda think missions with defending or escorting would be the worst kind. I mean that would have to be something speed runners dislike.
These have helped me immensely but the only issue I have is sometimes the enemies behind you (not always this mission) follow you. The covenant especially will try to track you down following you and I’ve gotten sandwiched to the point of having to simply skip the mission.
The visuals are glitchy. For example, sometimes sentinel beams tracers refuse to render in Anniversary. So you don't know what is shooting you, Flood or Sentinel.
I desperately want to try something like this on the PC version; the extra precision and turning speed of mouse movement could unlock all sorts of interesting possibilities. I had a physical copy years ago, and now that they've become so hard to come by I regret giving it to a friend.
My game glitched here, I was standing around for 2 minutes doing nothing, so I grenade jumped on top of the map to fight the last wave before the phantom, so awesome

That last section is so glitchy. The flood will sometimes spawn and not move at all, so you have to go hunt them down. It's not hard, but it eats up your time.
Naked, in your opinion, are LASO runs easier solo or when you have a (competent) buddy helping you, since dieing with Iron Skull on co-op restarts you back at last checkpoint instead of the whole mission?
I found that once you get all the elite helpers, giving every single one a sword makes the end section a total joke, they become an elite (smirk) murder squad.
i had a glitch. right as i went up that floating bunker i jumped down grabbed a BR and went back to the floating bunker and when i went up it completed the mission
At 3:26 you could have grenade jumped out of the window/door into the one directly across the gap. (At least with sputnik skull, not too sure if you can without it). You should give it a try, it would cut your run by like 20 seconds.

Yeah I had that but I clicked on the achievement in the game and it took me to the mission I needed to play again. Idk why it does that but I'm glad it was the first one because it is easy

RUclips probably just upscales it to 60fps maybe? I'm fairly certain XB1 broadcasts to twitch in 720p/30fps and I seem to recall Nak3d Eli saying that he uses his twitch archive footage to make these videos (you can even see the current viewers on his stream at the bottom of the screen because of the XB1 interface). So if the option is there to watch in 60fps I don't think you're seeing true 60. The campaign does run in 60fps though (at least single player anyway).
I had the same problem. Just destroy one or two ghosts with your rocket and then clear the whole area by destroying the remaining ghosts and turrets with your ghost plasma cannons. Obviously it takes some time (like 6 minutes) but at least you can move on. Edit: err I didn't notice this was posted two weeks ago so I guess you already passed it e.e
Tried so much that the game ended up giving me a checkpoint half way through the ruins past the turret with the optimal spawn of no ghosts.... I feel sad cause it got to such a case of the game helping me out....
I gave arbiters friend a rocket launcher and took his sword, he was litterally blowing up flood in pairs as they were jumping out of holes and climbing off the walls. It was super quick, he was rocket launchering everything the second it spawned
UnarmoredDragon really late reply but there's a glitch on this mission. in one of the long tunnels if you drop down without touching the beam across the hole you'll be invincible for the rest of the mission. the platform/beam across acts as a flag for the game that lets it know the invinciblity is to be turned off because you won't die from fall dmg etc
I found a huge skip in this level that will allow you to basically skip the entire end sequence and probably cut 3-4 mins off this, HMU on live for details if your interested. GT. Its me ur hero

Nachos, in halo lore the flood can't infect them as their anatomy is too week in certain structures such as weak bones ect.
This mission and 343 guilty spark terrified me as a kid.
Absolute legend. I just cut my Solo Legendary time down from 1 hour 40 minutes to 14 minutes on my first try using this guide.

Your speedruns are great, they make halo 2 legendary a lot less nightmare-ish :)

You say that the area at 8:00 mins is gltichy in MCC. However I got the same glitch you mentioned on halo 2 classic on og xbox.
