Your safe/locker in your room in the Lodge is a "bottomless pit to hold your sh--stuff". Utilize it for resources and stuff you want to keep but not carry. Be a while before you build ships. Also, in the ship screen hit A to transfer things to/from cargo. Junk is useless, except for money. Resources are used for base building, crafting and cooking. Hope that helps.
I can see you doing a let's build video as you did in Fallout4 only this time it's ships & settlements. I believe that in Starfield it's a bit more complicated.
Only just seen that your doing a play through, gonna have to binge watch to catch up, so glad you're doing a play through, i absolutely love this game, already finished my first playthrough now on to my next adventure in space 👍
Was interesting on PC when I discovered dragging mouse affected zoom during character creation, but shall be an interesting watch as I play catchup on episodes
True. Only problem is that since there is no such bounty, you can't actually follow through with it. Like if I were to use that for a role play series, I'd have to then come up with a reason I never finish hunting that bounty. Or else pretend that one of the actual bounties in the game is the one I was hunting, and they just moved to a new location. I think probably Bounty Hunter would be one of the easier backgrounds to integrate too. Ones like Chef or Sculptor would be a little more difficult I think, at least without sounding contrived.
Yay! I was wondering if you’d gotten the early access. Looking forward to this series! Also, what you said about all characters in Fallout and Skyrim looking like variations of the same person is so true. Like in FO4, it’s like as soon as I add a certain hairstyle to my character, it reminds me of another NPC with that same hairstyle lol
I have been playing this game since day one, Early Access. Yes, I spent to much money. But I cannot wait to see what you do with this, and I do hope that you do a RP for this... eventually. As, I would LOVE to see how you RP in this universe. :)
And thus, a new Journey begins, among the stars. Some of those Traits are pretty creative, like KID STUFF and LUXREY HOME for example. Man RUclips has just been FLOODED with videos on this game the past several days, so far i haven't seem much. Though from what iv heard, in UNCHARACTERISTIC Bethesda Fashion, the game is NOT a bug fest at launch and is Surprisingly stable. Although apparently the space flight controls are bit EHHHHH on mouse and keyboard (and while they might add it later, no joystick support currently).
I agree on the Security point, but Stealth and Theft are much less vital. Stealth is definitely good to have, but not vital. It's like FO4/76, just turn your light off and don't max speed through areas. On Controller, it's very easy to walk and edge up on corners and such. There are 3 Skills that I say are needed as fast as possible. First is Security. The number of expert and master lock ramps up fast. Second is a a combat skill. W/E you want, just get a point in it (I like Ballistics). 3rd is Piloting. Your Piloting Rank determines what class of ship you can pilot. After that, some Fitness and Weight Lifting will go a long ways (especially for fellow loot goblins). Persuade is needed, but there is almost nothing I can say about why without spoiling. Just get Persuade sooner, rather than later. Really, I don't think there is a single bad skill. Note- The Research function is used to learn recipes, so if you want to be crafty..... For Traits, I can't recommend "Wanted" enough. The hunters show up VERY rarely. We're talking dozens of game hours apart, if not more. The boost functions similar to the Bloodied effect. Anyone who has seen the directs knows the fan is annoying. I would add a bit creepy, as well. Free companion, though. (You can hire crew, as well, but that is much more very endgame.) Taskmaster is meh. You've gotta have the right endgame setup to really appreciate it. Terra Firma is not bad. Most of the time that TF or Spaced would kick in, you're on a planet. I cannot recommend Extrovert. It's not terrible, just has issues. It has been reported that the parents provided by "Kid Stuff" will give nice presents. Like new ships. Have not seen it, myself, but it has been reported. 2% is NOT that much.
My gosh, am I the only one who waits for release dates these days? I look forward to watching this toward the end of the week when I've had a chance to play. I've been hoping to see more of your stuff ever since your FO4 builds.
@@WastelandDovahkiin I understand, I'm just finding it funny that so many channels that I follow are already deep into their let's plays and we even have mod recommendation videos and the game hasn't even had its official release to the general public. I'm amazed that people get decent views with early access let's plays, tbh. I really want to watch these videos, it's just a little frustrating to have to dig through a backlog five days later to avoid spoilers. But I'll survive.
@@BKPriceI don't think you understand that the purpose early releases were developed by the industry was expressly so that people would be able to watch a playthrough or get a review on purchase day. Complaining on a gaming RUclips channel having a let's play out before the game out is like complaining that workers in the stores are unpacking the Christmas decorations and toys before Christmas day.
I want to experience the game play myself on the 6th, but I’m watching others create their characters. I pretty much know what my background and skills are going to be and which skills I’m going to start adding right away. Edit to add: My choices came down to either Bounty Hunter or Cyber Runner. I want to be able to have Piloting ASAP and also Boost Pack Training. I also want to be able sneak around and pick locks to steal all the goodies that I can. I’m planning on taking my time anyway so if I choose Cyber Runner I can start adding Piloting and Boost Pack right away and by the time I’m ready to get a ship I’ll be able to pilot it. Yes, I’ve thought about it a LOT 😅
I’m waiting for Starfield coming to Game Pass this week which is Wednesday since I’m a Game Pass Ultimate subscriber. But I’m excited to try it out on my Series X + Cloud Gaming.
I don't like Character Creation. I am using waaay to much time doing stuff that doesn't matter in the game. Just predefine my character in such a game :)
Why do we need the wording of body type, instead of male or female? Its obvious 1 is male and 2 is female. Why is that so bad? I mean at the end of the day, it wont stop me playing the game, and it really isnt that big of a deal. It's just silly.
I’m loving this freaking game. I need to sleep tho.
I’m really excited to see you play! I’m loving the game so much. I can’t wait to see some builds you’re likely to have cooked up in future!
"Ooooh..." Love the "oooh" when Bethesda Games Studios title appears! Omniverts unite! Fantastic beginning!

He reminds me of Brady from Virgin River. Lol
Love the character creation.
I'm excited to play this game.
I was absolutely positive that when you started the new game, that asian woman was going to say, "Good. You're finally awake." 😂

A bounty hunter could very easily apply for a job as a miner in the course of investigating the whereabouts of his prey or to facilitate his capture.

Consistently impressive work - keep it going!

I plan on doing a role play eventually. Not sure when, as I'd like to finish the game at least once before that.
@@WastelandDovahkiinI’d love to be on the cast when you do so as by then I’d have played it

I'm doing early access because of my channel. Otherwise I would have waited for the official release date.

I hate that I am so late to start watching this with you.
What do you mean by 'symmetrical?' I didn't see any obvious stroke victims.
Maybe symmetrical is the wrong word. Evenly proportioned?
After all this, I'll only notice your character's ears lol
Only thing I don't like about starfield is that it's not on Playstation

my Pile of junk can't play Starfield :( 2015 lol.
