It is the greatest moment in WWE history & it will never be topped. “Good God Almighty!, Good God Amighty! . They Killed him. As God as my witness, he is broken in half”.
One day I hope to ask Mick about the boiler room. Sure HIAC looked dramatic, but nothing makes me cringe more than seeing big ol’ Mick get bounced off Concrete in that boiler room match 😰
Ive seen clips of outlaw mudshow idiots doing things that were way worse and much more dangerous, but in the mainstream hopefully nobody will do what Mick did
In mai stream professional wrestling no, such a thing was a fluke, without vince, JR, Mick, and Mark all together reacting to everything in real time it wouldn't be nearly as good
The Hell in a Cell match was a great moment of his career. But my favorite era of Mankind/Mick Foley was late '98 to early '99 when The Rock and Mankind had one of the best long term rivalries in wrestling history.
I remember I was listening to the tv because of the scramble on ppv's, and as I was listening I was just like... "what on earth is going on???" "what is this?"... and it just kept going on and on and on, it sounded like something out of this world was happening... it was so surreal just listening to JR describing it, I was totally befuddled.
Watching this live with a friend who truly didn’t know the name Cactus Jack....as Mankind walked out I remember saying, “you have no idea what we are about to see.” Neither did I, but good lord I will never forget it
Interesting skill set you have there, Mick. On the resume, you could say "Able to convince people to throw you off a steel cage." The quality control would be how long it took to convince him to throw you off.
SHIT THE REALITY OF THAT WAS AWESOME. HE BROKE HIS CLAVICAL IN THAT FALL. CLIMBED BACK UP THE CAGE WITH A BROKEN CLAVICAL. (SHOULDER BONE) AND THEN WENT THRU. THE CAGE AGAIN. KEPT GETTING UP 🫣 AND WHEN IT WAS OVER. THAT WAS HIS TOOTH STICKING OUT HIS FACE. 😂 AND UNDERTAKER HAD A BROKEN ANKLE...😂
I like how people are questioning the morality of the story. Remember guys. The audience gets what they want. Be careful for what you want. Dumb audience.
@RG-lr4pk where in my comment did i implied you invented the term? im sure the only thing youve invented is new ways to push the people in your life away from you.
Dude was very lucky. Dumb stunt -> if it had gone wrong, Mark would have felt guilty forever and it would have tarnished his career. So, mick was being selfish pr&ck
I disagree. Yes it really could have gone wrong, but both of them were professionals who knew the risks of their job. If it had been anyone but those specific two wrestlers who know how to do things and how to move in certain ways that lessens the impact and what to use in away that wouldn't kill them
Will the HIAC bump ever be topped?
Let us know what you think!

No match will EVER be more historical then that Hell In The Cell.
Melina vs Alicia Fox
I love it too. But Hogan vs Andre WrestleMania for me is number 1.

Legend!

Mick should’ve told the guy “I am the table!”

Dont like his politics but i love foley as a selfless performer and as a human being
It was the height of what he does of course people want to ask about it. All those Foley is God signs ud see in crowd were because of that moment.
They legally can't do 10% of what happened at that Hell in a Cell now.
Which really makes sense, that could have killed him if he had missed the mark by an inch

I'm sure he gets tired telling this story
Glorified stuntman.
better to be a stuntman than a keyboard warrior
@@zombie_reagan Did it hurt?
@@zombie_reagan Do you think I came up with the term "glorified stuntman"? I know wrestling fans aren't too smart, but put on your thinking cap.
@RG-lr4pk where in my comment did i implied you invented the term? im sure the only thing youve invented is new ways to push the people in your life away from you.
@zombie_reagan fun when people prove how "smart" they are, ain't it.

he might as well bury him if it went down like that
