Ranking Chaotic Celebrity PR Relationships
hey everyone welcome back to my channel! today we’re doing a video that someone requested a few weeks back (i lost the dm/username of who it was so if ur watching thanks for the suggestion!!) originally they had suggested doing a tier style definitive ranking of celebrity pr relationships which i thought was a great idea, but when i sat down to organize it all i realized that a tier ranking didn’t really work as well as i would have liked for the topic so i thought a better way to organize everything would be by using the alignment system to rank them instead! in all honesty i think this is probably the last time i’ll use it (this particular system i mean) just cause it got a bit confusing at times and i think i like the simplicity of tiers way more but im curious to know what you guys think about it :)
Back to the actual topic though celebrity pr relationships have been around for AGES but it seems like no matter how played out and obvious they are, they still work really well most of the time or… lead to complete chaos. Recently we’ve seen couples like Harry Styles and Olivia Wilde, Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello as well as Tom Holland and Zendaya be accused of being pr relationships. I ended up looking online to see which celebrity couples throughout the years most people tend to agree were pr so that we could rank them within the alignment system based on how obvious or chaotic they were. As I said in the video these relationships being pr or not is based on hearsay LOL so don't take this too seriously.
Same with the tier rankings, this is definitive for me but doesnt have to be definitive for you, if you would have placed anyone differently let me know down in the comment section… also yes I did use this video as an opportunity to talk about the Dont Worry Darling chaos IM ONLY HUMAN OK WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME

Honestly as a Gaga stan I don’t believe them for a second. Especially when both of their fiances suddenly left the picture. And a few songs on Chromatica kinda make me think they’re about Bradley. Idk, shit seemed too real for me. She was never like that with Adam Driver. Like we would’ve all been okay if they were just pals. They didn’t have to go so hard.

What you missed about the Ben and Anna PR relationship is the timing! Had it been 2019, nobody would've blinked an eye but it happened when lockdown started. It was such a head scratcher in that the world was falling apart, people were fighting over TP, and they were pretending like all that mattered was holding hands and hugging lovingly in front of the paps, like... whaaat? i think people sometimes forget PR couple are real to some extent most of the time (minus things like bearding). like if you think about it if you’re pretending to love someone for long enough you’ll probably develop real feelings so it’s honestly hard to seem fully fake. that’s why when people like shawn and camilla or prianka and nick come out and are so fake they might as well be barbie we all are so fascinated by them.

One of our biggest rules in army is that their private lives are their private lives, and if we see them and its not an official schedule army have been invited to, we pretend not to know them. We don't approach them, we don't ask for autographs, we don't take photos or videos, we don't tell anyone we have seen them.
We don't share videos or photos taken without their consent, unless they shared it themselves, it isn't our business and we will actually report videos and photos like that. There are many instances where BTS have thanked us on their social media because they spotted armys in public who were pretending not to know them such as when Taehyung thanked fans who spotted him while he was on holiday in Hawaii and didn't approach. RM doesn't drive and he likes to ride public transport and his bike, he also likes going to museums and art galleries. He can do those things because the vast majority of fans will pretend not to know him if they see him out in public.
Recently Jin had his entrance ceremony for when he entered the military, normally when kpop idols go to the military, their fans go to the entrance ceremony since it technically is a public ceremony and it causes a huge mess. Jin asked fans not to attend so we didn't. There is a video of Korean paparazzi at the entrance ceremony talking about how we weren't there because we were asked not to be.

For shawmila, I genuinely believe they were real but really milked the PR. Like they were def together before seniorita but didnt go public until it released. And then they def broke up way before we knew but didn’t announce it until shawns music was ready to drop
I think Cole and Lili were real but the PR te push them to be more public about the relationship to attract more attention to their show. I remember them saying they showed up to the set with hickeys in the filming of season one. I do think they’re extra at times but gotta secure the incomes when the opportunity is right.
also I’ve had the same feelings about shawn and Camilla, he liked her more than she did with him for a really long time and it seemed like she wanted to give the relationship a try and then the PR team got in the way

I never believed Robsten was PR because they tried to hide the relationship for SOOOO long, they would avoid the question (if they were dating) at any cost, it took like a year until they started openly going out in public together. Back in the day I was a hardcore shipper and I remember we (stans) used to depend on blurry 140p pictures taken with a potato to get any Robsten content. So saying that was PR sounds kind of absurd to me 😂. The cheating thing was a shock to me btw, to this day I can’t understand how Kristen could cheat on Robert so openly like that
