As a painter for many years ,starting when everything was lacger , I understand everything you do ! It's just so hard to explain what you're doing to the average person !! But you do a very good job of it !!

25 years ago the gun we use to use was the Sata jet !
I was running this saw for about 2 hours at about a 30-50% duty cycle ruclips.net/user/postUgkxfQm1wmg0ItKDLavxj1nXtQY9HP7EF504 and it did a great job. I used the lever for the built in sharpener to clear chip buildup out more than to actually sharpen the chain. It managed to cut some hardwood stumps much larger than it's size without bothering the neighbors with hours of 2 stroke noise.

You are a TRUE Teacher! From one video to the next is Never the same, Each one covers different things to consider in the job as a whole. Equipment, materials, cleaning, prep, etc and even “ Walk away time😂”! I’m Not a pro, But after watching several videos I felt confident in painting a hood for my truck. It got damaged and I went to the Pick & Pull got a good hood brought it home and did a Step by step in prep work and the hood looks fantastic and everyone that sees the hood says the same thing they can’t believe I did it! Then they wanna know how I did it, and I told him about your videos and your teaching abilities!
I’m now ready to do the tail gate.

The color match of these colors depends on the paint system.. some systems hit certain colors but not others and vice versa.. the KOH camera does a great job in my opinion of measuring the color and adjusting as needed.. it’s a great tool that all painters should use if possible for them. You can read/mix/paint any of these “hard” colors with greater confidence.

This is very great mini gun I used to have the iwata lph80 but broken when fall on the floor by accident so I move to the minijet 4400 but the fan is small so I got the sagola mini and work great , even with HS clear are thick , I only use with the epa air cap for base and clear , another mini gun work great is the mini DV1S have nice fan
So first of all I'm in the beginning stages of learning to spray paint and I come to this you tube channel for top rated information and instructions but what I do know is color from my 40 years in the commercial printing industry. What you sprayed appears to be a fairly dark gray with a blueish hue. Gray is one of the most difficult colors to replicate regardless of the equipment because of the different hues it can exhibit, blue, green, red, and yellow. Great job.

If i could only ever have one full size and one mini gun it would be the iwata WS400 Series 2 in the 1.3HD Clear cap, and the Minijet 4400B RP in the 1.2 SR
I see so many people complain about the fan on the 4400 being too small, but then they list they got the 0.8 or the 1.0 instead of the SR caps that have dual holes on each airhorn, ive knocked out full hoods with the minijet, it lays glass and its reliable
I have the 4500. My fav gun also tekna copper so they work awesome. Some don’t like sagola as much cause it has trouble laying with some peel. It atomizes so well difficult to make a car blend. For overalls my go to gun the full size. But also have to give props to my supernova. The ws not the entech. Not a fan of hvlp even though easy to control.
I was spraying with a mini gun today but was coming out dry but when I was using 2 days before that it was fine
Mini guns are overlooked too much sometimes I feel like. My DV1S is still one of the best guns I've ever had, lays smooth as glass and never had a problem no matter what I put through it and I'm comparing that go Sata's.

NH 797m was the color that made my painter know I was color blind when I was an apprentice at the time 😭 still didn’t give up tho we in this fr fr
Any examples of engine compartment paint prep?
I hope there is a video showing how to match the colour of Subaru K1X on bumper and quarter panel. In Australia, it seems no one can fix the colour matching issue. I am hopeless

Is the EPA air cap normally used if you have a low CFM air compressor? Can use it for both paint and clear?
Love your videos. I have black widow HTE gun at moment and I been looking at sagola 4600 with titania cap. Since you have used both, do you think there is a night and day difference with same 1.3mm needle size?
The Sagola 1.3 extreme is a top notch gun. You’ll be happy.
Do they make HVLP guns for pancake air compressors? I’m also thinking about modifying a pancake air compressor with an external tank and a water separator and nice regulator and nice fittings. Currently I don’t own an air compressor except my little battery powered Ridgid pump…😂 Or should I just opt for a bigger compressor and if so what size tank and SCFM?

Can someone explain to me why it isnt coming out dry?
Never painted this colour but for me it’s Mazda 41v or any tinted clear. Also Mazda 46g, Machine Grey is a real pain.
46G and 41V is probably the most time consuming.
As a painter I love your videos. But I must say this is not the toughest color to blend or match (I mean no disrespect). Paint systems vary yes but Ford RR is difficult, Mazda 46G is tough, Hyundai/Kia SWP pearl is rough.

I painted a few front ends and the bumper is still alil off, even when i blended the fenders for NH797m. This color is almost impossible to match perfectly
Bumpers will always be off plastic to metal you’re always going to have that issue plastic takes color differently than metal

Toyota 1G3 and Nissan KAD also suck really bad.
B4 they were terrible, now they arent too bad.
@@JimmyJiveJones depends on the system your spraying. Some have a good match some don’t. I spray ultra BC8 and it’s ok. But I know guy that spray envirobase and say the color match is phenomenal.
@@HackMasterBlaster i spray RM and they both match pretty well. But when those colors first came out. It was a nightmare

Matches as good as factory if you watched the video it is blended and the edges are the factory
Factory bumpers usually don't match, so that is the goal... to match the factory mismatch. 🤷🏽♂️
Man. These modern grey Metallics. 797. Bmw b39 audi lz7s VW ld7x break my chops everytime. Always too dark, u pull black out and it turns too blue or its too red or not enough red. Every time man. Bumpers the worst. Oh yeah toyota 1g3, 1h1 forget about it. Not a bad idea Brian using mini guns.
This is the easiest color to spray. NH877P is by far the hardest match.
