      @@GarageNoise i was very impressed by it. It came in a kit I picked up from Home Depot along with my r500. I didn’t know if I would ever use it, but I’m glad I had it. I was impressed by how well it atomized my clear coat and the finish I was able to get right off of the gun. And I wouldn’t consider myself a skilled painter

    Nice review! I love this style! I have the Aeropro A610 and been in love with it for about a year now. Waiting on another gun that looks about the same. It basically is the same. Inokin D1 Drizzle. They seem to have taken the same gun and gave it what I was looking for in all the others… dial knob readings! The packaging looks nice too. Comes with extra pieces as well

    • @foxybrown2
      @foxybrown2 6 месяцев назад

      That A610 is terrible the R500 is better and the A610 is suppose to be an upgrade. I used them both at work and the A610 did not do well at all. It did not atomize well if shot like it had a 1.5 tip even though i had 1.3 tip on it the spray pattern what terrible. Now maybe i had a bad gun. You never know what you are going to get from buying cheap guns. But i buy them anyway to see it they shoot well. Most shoot ok but not as good as the big boys at the 200$ and up range i have Iwata, Sata, Devilbis, and they never let me down. Also thinking of getting a Sagola.

    Identical to the aero pro A610 ! Much like different variants of the R500 , now it seems there will be other A610 copies with other vender names and subtle changes like color finish and im sure they will have others at some point with different color caps and knobs , All these LVLP R500/A610 and variants are a pretty good bag for your buck and works well with 20+ gallon compressors , Also produce"s less over spray...

    Hi Chris, Do you have a source for the digital air pressure regulator that you have on several of your paint guns? Harbor Freight no longer sells them. They use to be around $15. The problem I have is almost all regulators have a 0 to150psi sweep. Very hard to dial in below 20psi for these LVLP guns. Not really know the PSI?

    A tip that might want to try' when spraying the whole side of a vehicle' instead of stopping at the end of one panel and then moving on to the next' you can use a skateboard and make one single pass and then back and forth.

    Thank you for the videos and information on these guns, with that said I know I asked tbis question before but after watching this video and seeing you do it I have to ask again, you say 3 complete turns out from full closed but it looks like you are turning the knob 3 turns and not a complete 3 full 360 degree turns as in if I start with the number one at a set spot am I supposed to turn it a full revolution until that number one is back in that same spot 3 times, or am I just supposed to seat it and then turn the knob 3 times from there? I appreciate your help just still tryimg to get this thing dialed in, still getting a lot of orange peel and not sure if maybe it's because I am flooding the panel to much or something else.

    Hey Chris!! I have this particular gun. I’ve tried spray with it with the same settings (15-20 psi , 3turns from closed fluid and full fan minus 1/4 turn closed panel distance 8-10 inches ) but…. I have a lot of orange peel. When I say a lot you can’t imagine. Is there anything else that I can do? I really love this gun but I’ll have to send it to the trash next time I have so much orange peel.

    • @GarageNoise
      @GarageNoise  9 месяцев назад +2

      I believe your saying you get orange peel in your clear. If I'm mistaken let me know. For clear your air pressure is a bit low bump it up to 28-30 or if you want to keep your psi low then decrease your distance to 6inche and lessin your fluid volume a 1/4 turn. This should correct things. Don't give up on it , it's not the gun, play with you settings, speed and distance you'll get it.

      It may not be the gun but the products used I have used the cheapest of cheap guns like the 15 harbor freight gun and layed the clear down like glass I find with the cheaper guns it’s better to reduce ur clear like 10% I like my fluid turned in only 2 turns and my fan is usually half a turn or 1 full turn In to get a flawless fan pattern but that all depends on compressor and air hose size also, and a big thing nobody talks about is ur ventilation in ur garage or shop will make a difference also the less over spray the better u need just as much air coming in as is going out of the space ur painting in if it’s cloudy and u can’t see when u stop spraying and it take a min to clear out then that’s probably one of the biggest contributors to the orange peel

    • @christopherbeachy3145
      @christopherbeachy3145 9 месяцев назад +1

      I see ur using single stage that makes a difference to u wanna use a slower reducer and activator then normal base coat clear . It is a self leveling paint that’s why I’ll use the slow reducer or use retarder to slow it down . It will lay flat u definitely have to put it on wet
