Question: using the spraygun to actually spray pur solvent... would it be a good quick method? (since the solvent will go where the paint goes) Oh! and BTW thanks for the video.
Yes, you can use a solvent to clean the spray gun. However, I’d recommend starting with a less aggressive solvent specifically made for spray gun cleaning. Once it looks clean, add a bit of 2K solvent, which is stronger and will dissolve any slightly dried paint. By the way, this cleaning video is more useful for the first cleaning when you first buy it, as it usually comes with oil residue on it. Thanks for watching my content! Cheers!
When you buy a cheap Chinese paint spray gun, it comes covered in a thick layer of grease, including the spring. Since the needle is inserted through the same opening where the spring is located, there's a high chance that the needle will get contaminated with grease, which can negatively affect the paint quality.
Always remove needle first

No need for trigger adjustment knob or the spring to go in the wash.

why wear gloves and mask haha
Because solvent fumes are toxic and can damage the lungs over time, and gloves protect the skin. These are basic safety recommendations.
