What a man Chris Eubank Sr is, the absolute epitome of greatness, class, honour, respect and legacy. A Jamaican immigrant/a descendant who fully embraced England as a country, our culture, our language and our society as a whole. Immigrants/descendants of them nowadays could learn a lot from this man. All we hear now from them is whining and crying about our country and culture yet choosing to live here specifically. Particularly immigrants of a certain religion with a certain prophet who married a 6 year old, yet they have the gall to criticise our culture.
Chris sr is one of my all time favourite people in combat sports period.. an absolute treasure! A man high on the list of people I’d love to have a conversation with dead or alive 💙
Real respect for Simon Jordan as a pundit. Literally says it how it is to everyone. Eubank Sr handled it better than I expected in this interview tbh. But the guy chats a lot of bull and threw his son under the bus big time here because he can’t handle him training with other people

He's right..Eubank Jr can never do what he did..Well spoken Mr Eubank Snr.
I have a story to tell you as well. I met Michael Watson in 2011 at York Hall, Bethnal Green. He was with his carer and I asked to take a photo with him and his carer took it. I posed with my fists up and so did MW he clenched his fist and tapped it under my chin gently. The man was rocking my head back and I felt my teeth and jaw rattling. I thought to myself, 'Michael I thought they said you're sick?' Bearing in mind, I was 31 and in good physical shape as an amateurboxer. I thought to myself my god if he is rattling my jaw as a disabled man what was it like to take a full on punch from MW in his physical prime at 25 or 26 years old? What I stunned by as well was how huge his hands were as well. I still have that photo. He is quite tall as well a genuine six footer.
I used to work around the corner from Chris Eubanks home in Hove, Sussex and used to see Chris Eubanks in his truck or Jeep..he would always wave and say hello if you acknowledge him.. he's a nice man

One of the best Eubank interviews i've seen. 100% honest, integrity, knowledge, and can back up every single word he says. One of the best boxers the UK has ever seen.
Eubank was one of the only fighers in the 90s, that could grab everyones attention in the pubs and working mans clubs on TV at 9 or 10 o'clock on a Saturday night. He had a huge following and is a legendary fighter. I never saw or heard anything but respect and fans following him from all walks of life. We've not seen anything like him since as the all round package. Naz was another who had almost the same level of support, a great showman, but Eubank had it all. Of course there is Hatton, and he was magnificent, and whilst a great character, wasnt a showman of the ring like Eubank and Naz.
Total Class. 33 years old son needs to listen. Currently very average, living off his Dad's name. When he has achieved something special, he can cut ties if he wants to. I bet every single up and coming boxer would love the opportunity to have Chris Senior advising him.
Chris Eubank is an absolute legend. No mug. No uncle tom. A real yard man that done good. Salute you sir. More blessing to you and your family mr eubank

I have always loved the Man and all he is about . Watched all his fights shown on TV as a kid, if people could only really here his words and take note! The world would be a better place . This guy is a legend
The man speaks a lot of sense. Look at what happened to perhaps the greatest heavy weight of all time Mike Tyson once he lost his father (figure) Cus D'Amato and had the wrong people around him.
We have rediculed Chris for years. However I'm now older and wiser. Chris is a first class human being. He looks fantastic physically. He's mentally astute and right on the money. The points he made about his son were valid. Finally Chris highlight of his life was meeting Queen Elizabeth. Endorsing his life as a gentleman. Speaking the Queens English impeccably. A great role model for youngsters from Jamaica to aspire too. What a fabulous guy Chris is .❤❤❤
You may not always agree with everything Chris Eubank Snr says but there is absolutely NO DOUBT that he is a very well spoken man. I just think sometimes the way he puts/words things rubs people up the wrong way. But I don't believe there is ever any malice behind his words personally. As a side note am I the ONLY person that is honestly left scratching my head as to why he has never received a royal honor from the crown? I'm not saying he should be knighted or anything but surly for everything he has done in the sport of boxing he could at least be awarded an OBE?
I was a teenager when Chris was in his pomp and he was my favourite sportsman ; I read his autobiography which was the best Ive ever read. A true legend and refreshingly honest in an era of flannel and nonsense.

I thought the interruptions were well timed, deliberately to keep Eubank on track with his original train of thought whenever he showed signs of getting sidetracked
@@peterbett3076 you could argue this at the beginning of the interview but once he knew what time it was he was in full swing
This one was one of the best I've seen, Simon looked a little awe shocked.
Bring him back ! Far to short 😢 so many questions it could go on for hours and would still watch
“Tyson Fury and a man who’s name I will not even speak” Eubank Sr out here treating Billy Joe Saunders like Lord Voldemort 😂😂
Tbh shouldn't even mention the Blackwell fight.. Chris knows how bad something like that can mess up a fighter.
@@soapsportsnews5727 Yeah I was waiting him for overstep the line and say something real bad about that one… But he didn’t go quite there with it tbf to him
Started this video thinking, "I know is Eubank but you don't have time to watch the whole thing. Skim through it." But, it's Eubank.....so I'd watched the whole thing before I knew it. It's impossible not to listen to Chris in his entirety. Absolute legend.
What a presence Eubank Sr. has, you can't help but listen in pure admiration when he speaks. Loved watching him in the ring and his flamboyant antics outside of it(can still see him driving that truck around😂) and we could all learn a thing or two from his values. A true gentleman and a national treasure.
Simon seemed in awe,in a respected manner, knowing Chris is a real top man
Simon was just thinking of a way to be the big dog in the kennel...but the good cop bad cop doesnt work with eubank...Eubanks only L was to go along with jordans charlatan narrative...
Simon isn’t stupid
Simon just liked the way he speaks not what he says
What a man Chris Eubank Sr is, the absolute epitome of greatness, class, honour, respect and legacy.
A Jamaican immigrant/a descendant who fully embraced England as a country, our culture, our language and our society as a whole.
Immigrants/descendants of them nowadays could learn a lot from this man. All we hear now from them is whining and crying about our country and culture yet choosing to live here specifically.
Particularly immigrants of a certain religion with a certain prophet who married a 6 year old, yet they have the gall to criticise our culture.
@@eoghanbeag Don't speak for other people.
Chris sr is one of my all time favourite people in combat sports period.. an absolute treasure! A man high on the list of people I’d love to have a conversation with dead or alive 💙
i reckon you would get more out of him alive
Real respect for Simon Jordan as a pundit. Literally says it how it is to everyone. Eubank Sr handled it better than I expected in this interview tbh. But the guy chats a lot of bull and threw his son under the bus big time here because he can’t handle him training with other people
I believe his heart is almost in the right place, but he’s way way less intelligent than he thinks he is, hell of an ego, narcissistic traits
I hated Simon on first glance, I now love him, no nonsense guy
People saying Chris outed his son! I think they're the ones with mental issues.....I see a loving caring and compassionate dad who has tried his very best but junior doesn't listen.... probably one of the most honest people you'll come across. Senior you're a legend!!
Everything he said was correct!but I do believe eubank Jr would be much better with his dad's support
Im same age as Chris and will never forget the buzz when his fights where on, been Irish i was a Steve Collins fan but Chris was the man, talk about chrisma, style and class he had it all, what a champ,'RESPECT'
His taking his truck to the anti war protest in Trafalgar Sq was one of the greatest things he ever did. What an amazing guy. He is a hero for that alone never mind his boxing greatness. He is right about junior but Junior is human and no one is perfect.
The man the myth the legend himself Chris Eubank SNR … a true warrior gave us all some of the best nights in boxing in the late 80s early 90s
No he stank the place out numerous times
Senior told you EVERYTHING you need to know about jnr and it's sad. Snr really was struggling because he's being honest.Never seen Simon so in awe of another man
This interview wasn't strange at all.. chris was clear, honest and concise... hes fully aware of what is being said.. this is best hes come across, always eccentric but thats him
Can't help but love Chris Eubank for sharing his love for his son and our Queen what an absolute gentleman!!
You can’t rush Sr. He tells you to “hold on” so he can finish. Respect.
Chris eubank snr 👌 still one of the hardest guys going
Although he contradicts some of the points he attempts to explain in a way that obviously only he himself would understand, I can’t help myself when it comes to Senior. He’s absolute gold and I would follow him into battle without a second thought.
At 250lbs and training like an animal a few years ago I was working the door of a club in town and Chris Snr rocked up.. due respect for his boxing I greeted him with a handshake..I couldn't believe the grip on the guy for his size..vice!
He's right..Eubank Jr can never do what he did..Well spoken Mr Eubank Snr.
Cool story Mr. Boots
I will always love and respect Eubank Senior. He had 19 defences of his world title! WOW. So glad to see him looking healthy and back to his best!
I used to work around the corner from Chris Eubanks home in Hove, Sussex and used to see Chris Eubanks in his truck or Jeep..he would always wave and say hello if you acknowledge him.. he's a nice man
Wow just wow! Absolutely brilliant interview, needed another two hours 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Honesty, integrity, authenticity, the warriors code 😂 gets me every time
Absolute gibberish.
@@sratus why’s that then ? Please explain, because I find it hilarious every time snr talks about the warriors code, being a pugilist and protecting weak
Is that why he refused to shake Steve Collins hand after Steve beat him? Twice. Authentic my arse.
Wonderful man is Eubank. And you can see how in awe of him Simon Jordan is.
Fantastic interview.
Good for you Chris. An honest and caring farther trying to show the way in front of the world. Loved you when I hated you. Love you when I learned to respect you. Love you for who you are today. 🙏
Simply the best. Honesty, Decency and Integrity you have to admire this great warrior...After all he has been through and survived. He always looks amazing, How can anyone question his opinion. The interviewers just don't get it! It's a dangerous sport so greatest respect to him. Now I'm older and wiser I get every word he speaks. Thank You Chris
And a bigot
I know Chris is a bit of an odd ball. But he’s our odd ball. A champion, inspiration, and a mighty pugilist!
Your the odd ball.Disrespectful comment.
Agreed
He’s not odd, just supremely confident in his own skin without the constraints of being bothered about what people think about him, very liberating!
I really wanted Jordan to stop finishing Eubanks sentences each time. The bit where he was going to speak on Sugar ray. Instead Jordan jumped in and we missed what could have been a really interesting insight.
absolutely ,that was a shame
Genuinely love Chris snr, he may talk the way he does but there’s definitely a lot of sense in there. Wish him the best.
He may talk the way he
talks? Wtf does that me?
@@JayNubi you that dumb son or you just trying to get a bite.
Fair play to Eubank, that was quite an incredible interview.
One of the best Eubank interviews i've seen. 100% honest, integrity, knowledge, and can back up every single word he says. One of the best boxers the UK has ever seen.
Bet after goading in the Blackwell fight they didn’t even go to see him after .. Fury is a wrongun and I bet the other one was Billy Bob Saunders
A dad who has lost a son who desperately doesn't want to lose a second! So much emotion when he talks about JNR making weight.
Love how Eubank refused to allow Jordan to interrupt or place words in his mouth.
How about Nigel Benn?
I really do love Chris snr, he's an absolute legend. Could watch him all day
Congratulations on being in love with another man
This is incredible. If anyone needs a lesson on how to hold yourself in life then this is it. Legend!!
Absolute legend
Total Class. 33 years old son needs to listen. Currently very average, living off his Dad's name. When he has achieved something special, he can cut ties if he wants to. I bet every single up and coming boxer would love the opportunity to have Chris Senior advising him.
Chris Eubank is an absolute legend. No mug. No uncle tom. A real yard man that done good. Salute you sir. More blessing to you and your family mr eubank
Respect 👊🏻
What's an uncle Tom?
Just someone trying to bring race into it.
Not sure you know the story of Uncle Tom. It's worth reading .

Simon Jordan had nothing to say I’m shocked he looked like he was getting either educated or just didn’t understand Chris’s terms 🙏🏾
God I fucking love him so much. What a total legend. Amazing!
watch the language chavtastic kevin... no one else is using it.. we don`t need that off you teeny boppers..
Why does it feel like Chris Eubank is in court?
I wish I would have known some of this stuff about Chris when I was watching him in his prime.
I used to hate him but he has changed my opinion on him.
Kudos Chris
I have always loved the Man and all he is about . Watched all his fights shown on TV as a kid, if people could only really here his words and take note! The world would be a better place . This guy is a legend
Absolute legend of a boxer. Chris Jr as massively underachieved in his career
what that mean?
Has he under achieved? Maybe he reached his full potential. You couldn't ask for more than that.
He was born into wealth meaning he has less hunger
@@ohcrikey9560 he has fallen short of the standard his father set, but still made millions off the fact that his dad is a legend...
It's extremely rare to see the offspring of famous boxers out shine there father's
Simon struggled to challenge CE Snr due to how authentic & unique he is.
Probably more to do with the fact that they're mates.
No way has Eubank snr lost his mind. Very easy to say that when you don't like what someone is saying. On the contrary, this is a Legend of a man!
The man speaks a lot of sense. Look at what happened to perhaps the greatest heavy weight of all time Mike Tyson once he lost his father (figure) Cus D'Amato and had the wrong people around him.
Legend, bless him. Simon's face says that too
We have rediculed Chris for years.
