Conor said he was suicidal over this whole situation I wonder how much this would of helped that, I suspect not much.
As someone who had absolutely no idea about the contracts and the stipulations and legalities concerning Benn, Eddie did a great job of appearing like he was winning. He never took a moment to think about what was asked or said to him he just kept on firing rapid responses which gave off the impression he wasn’t flustered by anything Simon said. Well, that was fun. Probably the only talk show I’ve ever watched from start to finish. @George P exactly regardless of how flawed Simon may think it is eddie was just giving him the facts. yeah it does seem abit weird to not have a stipulation in the contract where if your fighter fails a drug test you can call the fight off yourself and not have to wait for the board to do it but like eddie said hindsight is a great thing. Everyone made mistakes regarding this whole situation but at this point I think the best thing for Mr benn to do is to sit in front of the board present all the evidence and come to some sort of resolution because its not just gonna go away. Eddie can argue his case all he wants but conor needs to man up grow a pair and deal with this situation. It should have been him in there with simon today tbh lol.
@@Bandzino91 yep, and its good to hear Eddie hold his hands up and say he wishes he done things wrong and moving forward may change the contracts, the hard part of that is, like the dillian whyte situation, if the promoter pulls the fight when the fighter is still sanctioned and the test gets proved to be wrong, the promoter will get sue’d for loss of earnings, people wont like it, but im afraid them people dont understand how legal binding contracts work

If you only watched this interview, and didn't take time to look into the situation and see all the things that dont make sense, then I'd agree you are right. Specifically referencing testing samples, and a couple of procedures incorporating the BBBC and their ability to regulate the fight. That said, Simon realized that what hes being told by many other in the business has not matched up. Simon just kept saying things that weren’t true, and just would not accept that he got facts plain wrong… and just kept repeating them. Fair play to Eddie for keeping his cool. Definitely came out on top.

Nobody won anything as nothing moved forward one iota. Conor’s still factually a drug cheat. I don’t blame Eddie for trying to make the money while he can I think most would do that.
So based on optics and the fact that Jordan was supposed to splatter him today…. I’d give it to Eddie, he held his own.
He’s used to it after chatting shite & putting up smoke screens in the Whyte v Rivas cover up , which only come out after the event. Like Benn V Jnr nearly did.
Snake oil salesman is a understatement
That was all about Jordans lack of boxing knowledge. He clearly doesnt understand how boxing is run and regulated. Jordan didnt even know that the WBCs CBP has nothing to do with in camp VADA testing.

Well, that was fun. Probably the only talk show I’ve ever watched from start to finish. I got the feeling that Eddie’s argument was watertight from a legal standpoint, whilst Simon was trying to play the ethics card. Sorry what points did Hearn actually make which is reasonably to this Conor Benn situation?!
@@Cashews100 the contractual facts rather than what jordan thinks… obviously
@@Bandzino91 yep, and its good to hear Eddie hold his hands up and say he wishes he done things wrong and moving forward may change the contracts, the hard part of that is, like the dillian whyte situation, if the promoter pulls the fight when the fighter is still sanctioned and the test gets proved to be wrong, the promoter will get sue’d for loss of earnings, people wont like it, but im afraid them people dont understand how legal binding contracts work
@@georgep7925 But we’re none the wiser after hearing that 1 hour “debate”. How will it be ok if Hearn carried on promoting Conor Benn without proving innocent? You can say Hearn debated this and that but what’s actually changed?

If you only watched this interview, and didn't take time to look into the situation and see all the things that dont make sense, then I'd agree you are right. But, after paying attention and comparing the facts out in the public and information Eddie was sharing, there quite a few things that dont add up. Specifically referencing testing samples, and a couple of procedures incorporating the BBBC and their ability to regulate the fight. That said, Simon realized that what hes being told by many other in the business has not matched up.
